Chapter Index

“Those people swallowed by Star Ocean’s dragon, have them separated and brought back to base, hand them over to Minister Kodamura. With this batch of people, I believe the K plan should be able to be completed.”

Star Ocean’s voice rang out, “Understood, sir. All data has been collected in the recent collision, which will provide fundamental data support for the future structural design of the Flying Dragon battleship.”

“Oh yeah, about that fleet from Asan country, have the dragon sink and devour that Aegis ship tonight after nightfall. Remember to drag the battleship underwater without the dragon being seen.”

Star Ocean, surprised, asked, “Why not show up this time?”

Du Qiu replied with a smile, “Let Asan country have their suspicions. Aren’t the Americans sending a submarine in this direction?

We just had Asan’s Aegis ship down two B2s; the missile launch process was witnessed by the American salvage ship.

When it’s all said and done, and we let slip that there was an American submarine nearby, guess if Asan country will think it’s retaliation by the United States?

At the same time, the mysterious sinking of Asan country’s Aegis ship will definitely convince the Americans that it’s been devoured by the dragon.

But since Asan country did not witness the dragon in person, the Americans will surely keep it a secret, considering their penchant for secrecy.”

With the Infiltrator II and Carbon Nanoworms penetrating into some specific areas of the United States, Star Ocean gained knowledge of some secrets that the Americans hid from the world.

Upon learning of this, Du Qiu demanded that Star Ocean direct the Infiltrator II and Carbon Nanoworms to deepen their penetration into those special areas to fully uncover all of the American’s secrets.

There are some areas that are difficult for the Infiltrator II to penetrate, but the Carbon Nanoworms can infiltrate them, albeit over a lengthy period. After all, Carbon Nanoworms don’t have much mobility and need to rely on external forces like wind, water, people, or animals, amongst others.

The famed Area 51 turned out to be more than just a legend, which truly impressed Du Qiu. Still, compared to the alien civilization of his dreams, Du Qiu was no longer astounded.

However, even so, Du Qiu still desired to fully understand all of its secrets.

“Sir, how should we handle the wreckage of the B2 fighter?”

Du Qiu said, “The dragon is going that way anyway, so it can just devour it and deal with it, letting the Americans puzzle over it.

This time the Americans, disregarding the sovereignty of South Sudan and Kenya, brazenly launched an air strike. I’ll let them bomb a few factories so the whole world can see the Americans’ hegemonic true colors.

That way, we can take any action in the future from a moral high ground—it’s a tradition of our long-standing civilization.

Oh, and connect me with RRein Leinar.”

    “Right away, sir.”

A moment later, RRein Leinar’s voice came through, “Du Qiu, is it not even dawn yet, and you’re calling me? Did the thing you mentioned yesterday happen?”

Du Qiu apologized, “I wasn’t aware of the time difference; I’ve disturbed you. The Americans made their move at three in the morning, just now they bombed the industrial park of Dream Technology in South Sudan. Currently, the seven factories that had been completed and were about to start production have been utterly destroyed.”

“What? They really dare to violate the sovereignty of a nation like that? Were there any casualties? Are you alright?” RRein Leinar was exceedingly shocked.

As a Westerner, he could not accept the United States’ blatant disregard for the sovereignty of small countries and the use of military force against multinational enterprises within those countries.

Previously, Du Qiu had informed him that the U.S. military’s assault team had attacked the industrial park at night but had been wiped out by Iron Guard Security.

At the time, he could barely believe it and was doubtful about the combat capability of Iron Guard Security.

Yesterday, Du Qiu had reminded him again, mentioning that the United States might launch missile attacks against the industrial park in South Sudan where he was and asked him to be mentally prepared.

RRein Leinar truly did not believe it, although the United States had already begun sanctions against Dream Technology, with its Secretary of State even starting a shuttle visit to “persuade” allies to join the sanctions.

In his view, even though the United States had issued a warrant for Du Qiu two years ago, Du Qiu was currently appearing in South Sudan under the name Li Shennan and staying at the industrial park.

The actions of the United States should have been to notify the government of South Sudan, suspecting that Li Shennan was the fugitive Du Qiu and requesting the government of South Sudan to extradite Li Shennan.

It was not likely that they would use military force without saying a word, invading the territorial sovereignty of a small country to bomb Dream Technology’s industrial park near the capital.

He soon received the photos of the aftermath of the bombardment on the industrial park of Dream Technology in South Sudan, and the tragedy clearly showed the determination of the United States to exterminate Du Qiu.

Du Qiu said, “Barty, you must understand that I wasn’t wrong, right? The bullying nature of the United States has become their absolute political correctness.

Whether I establish Dream Technology or Dream Technology, even if Dream Technology does not surpass their technology, they want to sanction us. Now they are even keener on getting rid of me.

First, they sent out assault teams to attack the industrial park at night, and now they’ve dispatched warships and planes to launch missile attacks on the park.

If I hadn’t received the intel in advance, my soul might very well be heavenward by now.

Barty, this world is about power; if we want to lead humanity to a better development, we must break the stronghold of power.

Our gaze must not just hover over Blue Star; our odyssey is the vast expanse of the cosmos!

Starting now, we will battle any force that tries to halt our progress. Barty, will you follow me?”

Upon looking at the photos of the aftermath on his glasses and listening to Du Qiu’s words, RRein Leinar’s long-standing beliefs began to shift.

“Du Qiu, what do you plan to do?”

Du Qiu confidently said, “Barty, your motherland has given birth to great modern thinkers, creating the beautiful concept of scientific communism. In my view, the new era of interstellar travel brought about by technological breakthroughs is the best time to implement such an idea.

I want to establish a world as perfect as possible!

In this world, everyone will have enough food, clothing, and housing, no longer needing to worry about survival.

All they need to do is to grow diligently and develop in areas that require creativity, like science and arts.

All technical and repetitive tasks will be undertaken by intelligent robots.

The people in this world will be intelligent, elegant, and civilized.

Especially one thing, I will find ways to make humans stronger and live longer.

The meaning of human life will no longer be about survival but for creation!”

RRein Leinar was dumbfounded as he listened, understanding what the great thinker from his country’s history had mentioned about a utopian society.

But the selfishness that comes with the struggle for survival, he believed, was the fundamental reason why such an ideal society could not be realized. Even Tang Country had the old saying, “When the granaries are full, the people know the rites.”

This implies that the right to survive is paramount. If humans can’t solve this problem, any demand for other rights is frivolous and naive, like armchair strategists who lack understanding of harsh realities.

Thinking of Dream Technology’s lifelike robots and Dream Technology’s extensive application of industrial robots, RRein Leinar suddenly understood that the perfect world Du Qiu wanted to create might technically be feasible.

The question was, such a perfect world always needed a place, right?

Currently, on Blue Star, the landscape was dotted with many countries, and although the law of the jungle between countries had significantly reduced compared to the past, it still occasionally happened.

The hegemonic behavior superpowers adopted in global governance was all too common.

No matter where Du Qiu applied this experiment on any country, it would likely be regarded as a thorn in the side by the Western countries led by the United States!

“Du Qiu, are you out of your mind? In which country on Blue Star do you plan to practice this? Aren’t you worried about creating a Utopia?” RRein Leinar asked worriedly.

Du Qiu chuckled and said, “I’ve named this plan ‘The Heavenly Realm Project’; in Western terms, it could also be called ‘The Eden Project.’

If you’re willing to keep following me, I’ll show you the grandeur of the Heavenly Realm. This project might just be the greatest plan in human history.”

RRein Leinar’s eyes brightened as he asked, “The Heavenly Realm Project? The Eden Project? Could it be you’re considering colonizing another star system? No wonder you’ve been asking me to recruit astronomers to make star charts for you.

Do we have the technology for large-scale interstellar travel? Have you found another Blue Star?”

“Barty, calm down, calm down,” said Du Qiu, a bit speechless. RRein Leinar’s thinking was even further ahead than his own.

“That’s a mid-to-long-term plan. It’s precisely why I need you to stay with me, striving toward that goal. However, I believe we won’t have to wait too long to achieve this goal. At least, both you and I will be able to see it with our own eyes, not just our descendants.”

RRein Leinar calmed down and then said, “Du Qiu, I said from the beginning, the moment you developed that super high-precision machining center, I would follow you for life.

As a German, the promises I make will be kept; you need not doubt that.”

“Even if the entire Western world sees me as a dangerous beast, as a heretic to be eliminated, will you still follow me?” Du Qiu’s voice was very calm.

RRein Leinar laughed and said, “It seems that day has already begun. Your second company, Dream Technology, has been sanctioned by the United States.

Now they have even launched missile attacks with planes and warships to eliminate you. If they knew you are still alive, they would surely incite the entire Western world to deal with you.

It seems I’m already aboard your ship, and it appears I’m also a second officer. Captain comrade, I am looking forward to creating the Heavenly Realm with you.”

Du Qiu laughed heartily and said, “Why don’t you say you’re the first officer then?”
