Chapter Index

Alien invaders are on the brink of attack! Dream Technology Chairman Du Qiu is holding the line on Mars, building the Dream Technology Space Fleet for a do-or-die showdown with the enemy armada!

Blue Star Civilization stands at the edge of destruction—internally fracturing as a new ice age looms and externally besieged by invading alien fleets. A cataclysm of colliding cultures is imminent. This is Blue Star’s darkest hour!

Dream Technology has dispatched the Heavenly Spacecraft, leaving behind the seeds of Blue Star’s legacy. Humanity will fight to the death against the invaders!

Dream Technology isn’t a savior—they can’t whisk Blue Star’s people to safety. We must take up arms and fight on our own!

Dream Technology has licensed ground defense tech to Blue Star nations, which are now in overdrive with production and deployment. The Earth Union is even calling for the creation of a Blue Star Defense Force!

Nations across Blue Star have declared martial law. Anyone attempting riots—looting, arson, or vandalism—will be shot on sight by the military!

    ……

The departure of the Heavenly Spacecraft unsettled many citizens, yet national opinion quickly downplayed the concern, spotlighting Dream Technology’s ground defense tech and the world’s united efforts against the enemy.

This happened because, just before liftoff, Du Qiu posted news of the alien invasion on Dream Technology’s official website.

He also held video calls with world leaders, affirming Dream Technology’s resolve to counter the alien incursion and preserve Blue Star’s legacy.

Though Du Qiu can’t save all of Blue Star’s people, he refuses to let them be ambushed by the alien fleet without warning.

Having witnessed the epic clash between the Dominant Civilization and the Ge Ya Civilization—and seen countless intergalactic battles via the Fleet Database—Du Qiu knows that such cataclysmic conflicts spell inevitable doom for those on a planet.

All he can do is open up some ground defense tech to nations and advise them to mobilize every citizen while stockpiling supplies through extensive underground shelters.

Perhaps hiding beneath the earth will allow some to avoid the alien fleet’s devastating strikes.

As for space vehicle technology, sharing it now is futile given that national production capacities can’t keep pace.

Even the most basic transport ships can’t be built in time—nations lag far behind Dream Technology’s production capabilities.

Furthermore, Du Qiu worries that if captured by the aliens, our warship technologies might end up in enemy hands.

From many nations’ perspectives, they covet Dream Technology’s space vehicle tech and are both envious and resentful of the decision to launch the Heavenly Spacecraft.

Such is human nature—at the brink of civilization’s collapse, why did those aboard the Heavenly Spacecraft escape safely, while our own leaders and elites did not?

Some national leaders even slammed their fists on the table, pointing at Du Qiu and shouting, “Civilization is doomed, and yet Dream Technology hoards space vehicle tech. Why risk our lives fighting the aliens? We should just surrender!”

Du Qiu cooly responded, “Even if I handed over our space vehicle production tech now, you wouldn’t have time to study it, let alone build a single warship before the alien fleet arrives.”

“Then why hand these technologies over at all? Are you going to let the aliens capture them—or use them as a token when surrendering?”

“Remember, Dream Technology is not your nanny, nor is it the world’s savior.”

We are merely a business. I remain here as Blue Star humanity’s last line of defense, fighting to overcome the alien fleet.

But I must secure Blue Star’s legacy. The Heavenly Spacecraft will leave the Solar System today, only to return when the time is right.

“Chairman Du, I want to know—will that alien fleet really reach Blue Star in about three months?”

Some leaders, however, kept their cool, knowing that offending Du Qiu now would be unwise; they preferred to learn more about the alien fleet.

What if using Dream Technology’s ground defense tech to hide underground really allows us to evade the alien strike?

Moreover, Du Qiu is now poised to lead Dream Technology’s fleet into battle with the alien armada.

Naturally, they also intend to use these weapons to secure domestic stability and prevent widespread chaos.

Du Qiu stated, “I don’t know much about the alien fleet; judging by that Meteor Warship, I’d estimate their civilization is at level three or four.”

The three-month estimate is based on their fleet’s top speed—if they fall short, we might have extra time to prepare.

At our current tech level, the ground weapons Dream Technology has made available should be enough to hold them off on Earth.

Someone asked, “But what if the aliens don’t land?”

Du Qiu sneered, “If they aren’t here to occupy us, they won’t land. In that scenario, if Dream Technology’s fleet is defeated, Blue Star Civilization will be completely annihilated.”

Ultimately, nations must confront the reality of an alien invasion, adopt Dream Technology’s ground defense tech, impose martial law, and begin massive tunneling projects.

Perhaps some countries are eyeing their own agendas, but they can only act once the aliens land on Blue Star.

Meanwhile, Du Qiu has forged new partnerships with his homeland, recruiting a large number of space warship commanders, fighter pilots, and other personnel from Dream World.

Additionally, Du Qiu is pushing three teams to build the latest warships and develop state-of-the-art weapons.

At the Mars Base, accompanying Du Qiu is not Star Ocean but Stardust; these outer space production tasks were originally under Stardust’s control.

As for Star Ocean, its main body remains in the Heaven Realm, having departed alongside it.

Even while the Heavenly Spacecraft was within the Solar System, Du Qiu maintained contact with it to exchange data on new main warship and weapon research.

Du Qiu’s confidence in completing a new main warship within three months stems not only from his rigorous testing in simulation but also from Dream Technology’s now fully operational mobile space warship factory.

This massive factory can simultaneously build 60 warships, and Stardust’s supercomputer is housed there as well.

Combined with the asteroid belt and the Mars shipyard’s production capacity, Du Qiu is confident he can produce 100 warships in three months.

The production cycle for this main warship—thanks to Dream Technology’s automated lines—is roughly 65 days.

But Du Qiu isn’t stopping there; he’s frantically expanding new warship factories.

If the first 100 warships can delay the alien fleet’s advance—preventing them from quickly penetrating into the inner Solar System within the asteroid belt—

then Du Qiu is certain he can overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers.

On Mars, aside from the team Du Qiu brought for warship and superweapon development, all other Dream Technology personnel have evacuated, leaving only swarms of intelligent robots at work.

At the Mars Base, a batch of newly recruited space fleet soldiers from Dream Technology is currently being trained by the recently returned Song Yuanting.

In addition to Dream Technology staff on Mars, there is also the Dragon Spacecraft—launched by Musk last December—that safely landed on Mars after a long journey.

The Dragon Spacecraft touched down in the desert near the Mars City acquired by Old Morgan, transforming into a forward base housing 12 astronauts.

Additionally, at the Kuiper Belt Base, Professor Weitman leads a team of astronomers who have all been integrated into the Defense Department’s space fleet.

They serve as lookouts, monitoring the White Spot located three light-years away.

That day, Du Qiu and Ning Shuangshuang just finished their daily call and learned that the Heavenly Spacecraft had exited the Solar System’s traditional bounds—reassuring Du Qiu immensely.

Beyond Mars, in the vast expanse of space, warships crisscross and fighter jets soar—the fledgling Dream Technology Space Fleet is rigorously training according to Du Qiu’s detailed regimen.

As Du Qiu watched Wyvern Fighters streak past in space and mulled over Ning Shuangshuang’s words, he received a call from Weitman.

“Boss, that White Spot seems to be changing!”
