Chapter Index

    “Damn this bastard!”

“I’m gonna kill him! I’m gonna wipe out that bunch of pigs!”

As his spirit energy dimmed by half, Dahe Yicheng, now in a berserk state, tapped into his innate talent and transformed into a colossal, beastly hybrid.

He seized a mech like it was a chain hammer and hurled it violently in every direction.

The battle erupted in a fleeting burst of chaos—barely over a minute had passed.

From initial indifference to raging anger, their team had already lost more than ten Third-Stage cultivators! Such catastrophic losses were nearly beyond their tolerance! They had never been so outmatched! Even in the Japanese Battle Zone, one Third-Stage fell under a suicidal assault!

Meanwhile, the Military forces in front had been decimated by their onslaught.

With no mech barriers from Third-Stage warriors left, the remaining humans were nothing more than ants—incapable of slowing them down.

Fixated on the reinforcements arriving from afar, Dahe Yicheng realized that those damned pigs were definitely hiding somewhere!

If he weren’t trying to protect the Third-Stage Beginners in his own battle zone, he would have attacked long ago!

    “Damn insects!”

“I’ll crush their bones with my own hands!”

Every Third-Stage fighter present seethed with anger. Hiding in the back, they truly believed those puny stragglers could stop them!?

    How naive!

Ridiculous pigs—they were already doomed compared to those at the forefront!

“Don’t hold back your spirit energy! End this fight swiftly!”

    “Don’t let them get away!”

    Their killing spree quickened.

With everyone completely enraged, they no longer cared about Ming Luo and the others’ surprise attacks. They’d noted that the China Squad hadn’t appeared yet and likely wouldn’t dare to show up next!

Seconds later, after the last silver mech was cleaved in half, the remaining fifty-nine Third-Stage Awakened fighters broke into grim smiles.

But before they could regroup, a series of abrupt sonic booms shattered the air once again.

    “Again?”

A few Third-Stage fighters, their patience wearing thin, glanced over. After blasting a horde of fighter jets, those jets now dared only to strike from a safe distance.

Yet when the sharp-eyed few looked up and saw the white-tailed light dot streaking across the sky, their expressions hardened instantly.

    Another missile?

But…why do these missiles look so enormous!?

In an instant, a surge of intense dread overwhelmed them. It was as if each missile concealed a colossal threat within.

    Gliding through the atmosphere…

Blazing fast…massive in size…just look at the warhead…

Within the Japanese Battle Zone, a usually silent dual-dagger Awakener stared blankly at the incoming missile. For some reason, it felt eerily familiar—as though he had seen something like this at one of the military bases before.

Some weapon designs tend to follow a certain standard…

    This is…

Suddenly, as though struck by a thought, his face flashed with fear and he screamed hoarsely,

    “Run!!”

    “Run for your lives!!”

    “Nuke it! It’s a nuke!!!”

As his voice faded, every fighter sensed something was horribly off.

Their faces drained of color; the corpulent Dahe Yicheng, leader of the group, trembled as overwhelming terror seized him.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he desperately reverted his transformation and bolted out like a rabid dog!

    “Run!!!”

Eyes wide in panic, he realized that if any tech weapon could threaten a Third-Stage fighter, it was none other than humanity’s ultimate armament… the nuclear bomb!

    Meanwhile…

Inside the command room, Yenir calmly retrieved ten pairs of protective goggles from his Space Ring and passed them to the team behind him.

    “Ever seen fireworks?”

    A light chuckle followed.

Yenir paid no heed to his team’s incredulous expressions as he casually donned a pair himself.

He gazed at the scene with a hint of amusement playing at the corners of his mouth.

Four nuclear bombs, boasting a combined yield of 2.4 million tons, were enough to reduce everything within a three-kilometer radius to ash.

He hadn’t told Ming Luo and the others about his secret setup—it was meant as a surprise for everyone.

Inside the command room, as the piercing alarms blared, the already panicked Military high command turned to watch Yenir in stunned disbelief.

They never imagined that Yenir would launch a nuclear strike without so much as a warning!

    “Warning!”

“High-energy strikes detected ahead! Evacuate immediately!”

    “Warning!”

    ………

    “No!!!”

There was no time to escape.

Except for the fastest Third-Stage Mid-level fighters fleeing in all directions, every Third-Stage Beginner Awakener from the various battle zones stared in horror at the now separated nuclear warheads.

As survivors of the apocalypse, each had undergone intense military training.

They knew all too well the devastating range of a nuclear bomb.

There was no time! It was all over!

In sheer despair, legions of Third-Stage fighters tried to flee the blast zone, their faces etched with defiance and hopelessness. They couldn’t fathom how the China Squad had managed this!

Using nuclear bombs against them—such madness had actually materialized!

    “Boom!!!”

In an instant, a searing burst of light and heat erupted across the heavens and earth.

A new sun ascended on the horizon.

A brilliant yellow fireball spread at an unimaginable rate, like an unfeeling reaper devouring all in its path.

Within less than half a kilometer, countless Third-Stage Awakened fighters were vaporized by the scorching particle flow; only dark silhouettes remained, etched upon the scorched land by the endless shockwave.

    Charred. Carbonized.

As a fierce wind swept through, a grand display of pyrotechnics unfolded.

On the black lenses of the goggles, a dazzling white glow was reflected.

Lifting his goggles slightly, Yenir looked toward the distant mushroom cloud, a bittersweet smile creeping across his face.
