Chapter Index

    What is this!?

    His pupils contracted sharply.

Yenir’s heart froze in an instant.

    Boom!

In an instant, a burst of blinding light exploded between them like a star going supernova, its shockwave flipping Yenir onto the ground.

Before he could react, the entire area began to tremble as rows of streaming data emerged continuously near the luminous orb.

It was as if the very ‘code’ of existence was laid bare—the underlying darkness eroding the white base in moments.

    The data flowed and spread.

In mere seconds, the entire space was rapidly assimilated.

    Darkness… so deep.

The light vanished, replaced by an endless void of black.

Struggling upward, Yenir’s pallid face was etched with shock.

    Everything happened too fast.

In the empty, black void, only he and the system’s luminous orb remained.

His ragged breath echoed around him.

The corrupted space looked as though it had been drenched in black paint, with only the faint blue glow of the giant orb offering a sliver of light.

If the previous white space felt chillingly supreme, then this black expanse exuded a mysterious and profound aura.

    “Beep, error… no abnormalities…”

“Beep, system check passed… canceling alerts.”

    “Beep, settlement continues…”

In the silent void, it was as if nothing had ever happened.

The orb hanging overhead continued its mechanical flicker.

After Yenir clutched his chest and managed to stand, the familiar system prompt resumed, and the energy that once seemed ready to erase him vanished along with it.

Alert canceled—the system had aborted the termination protocol.

    Dazed and stunned.

Even the steeliest mind took several seconds to recover from such drastic changes.

“Did I just score a hit!?”

    “And even win!?”

“What the hell is going on here…”

Unable to hold back, Yenir cursed, his handsome face filled with astonishment.

No wonder he was so shocked.

The all-powerful system controlling every survivor’s fate was like a deity in everyone’s eyes.

Previously, the Sword God System had shown some anomalies, and Yenir had dismissed it as just a sneaky power-up trick.

But now, his understanding was completely overturned.

Even a fool could see what that earlier scene meant.

The Doomsday System had detected his violation of the replica rules—and worse, it had ‘discovered’ the Sword God System’s method of shielding him.

Maybe as a punishment for triggering the penalty rules, the system decided to erase him—just like those failed Awakeners, wiping him from this world!

    But…

The dark golden light in his chest surged forth like a bandit, fiercely blasting toward the system’s orb!

Worse, it controlled the entire Settlement Space in a way he couldn’t comprehend!

Just glance at the surrounding blackness and that giant orb—clueless like a fool…

    The implication was simply terrifying.

A single thought crossed his mind.

Yenir instinctively looked down at his chest, a strange glint flashing in his eyes.

There was no wound; the dark golden light seemed to have materialized out of nowhere.

This suddenly activated Sword God System was far more twisted than he had ever imagined!

“Even the system can be beaten…”

    “This is just too awesome…”

    He muttered under his breath.

As if struck by inspiration, a fiery glimmer lit Yenir’s eyes as he excitedly called out.

“Hey! Big bro!? You’re so badass! Can you just end this Doomsday already!”

    “Hey! Sword God System!?”

    “Sword Bro!?”

    “Sword Brother!?”

    “Little Sword!?”

    ….

A minute later, standing beneath the orb, Yenir sighed in resignation as he looked at his chest.

    It was utterly useless.

The thing seemed to have vanished, completely ignoring him. It acted as if it were merely a program with no real intelligence.

Or maybe it was just too lazy to care…

Suppressing his mounting doubts, Yenir resolved not to overthink it. It seemed he still had to rely on himself…

    Yet, a vague suspicion lingered…

About the seizure of replica privileges—it seemed as if this thing was like a virus, planning something nefarious.

    “Beep, settlement complete.”

“Current replica completion: 100%, with an extra 19.7%…”

    “Current rating: SSS-Level”

“Enemies killed: 9 enemy Awakeners from the Battle Zone”

“Assisted in killing: 61 enemy Awakeners from the Battle Zone”

“Extra spirit energy ore reward: 70 units!”

“Equipment reward obtained: Blood Lion Claw (Blue – High Quality), Roaring Helmet (Blue – High Quality), Elemental Scepter (Blue – High Quality), Strategic Angel (Blue – Spirit Energy Tech Creation)…”

“Skill rewards: Enhanced Learning (B-Level, Replica Only), Mechanical Synchronization (A-Level, Replica Only)”

“Attribute point reward: +1 to all attributes”

“Replica exclusive prestige: 1000 points! (All replica characters gain greatly increased favor and awe upon meeting you—exclusive to the Zombie Realm replica)”

    “System prestige: 450 points.”

“SSS-Level exclusive privilege reward: Story Jump x1”

“Story Jump: On your next replica entry, you can force the narrative to jump to any scene.”

“Note: Story Jump can only move forward into future scenes; revisiting the past is not permitted, and altering the narrative may cause unforeseen changes.”

“Opposition reward item obtained: [Main Battlefield]!”

    “[Main Battlefield]”

    “Item level: Blue Special”

“Item description: When used in the Zombie Realm replica, it grants all teammates a +3 boost to all attributes, increases all status recovery by 35%, and forces them to regroup.”

“On replica entry, it grants priority access, disregarding power differences—up to 4 hours in advance.”

“This item can be used in other replica worlds, but it retains only its special effect without additional bonuses.”

    ……

The rewards cascaded like a waterfall.

Yenir habitually scanned the dense flood of rewards, feeling hardly any excitement.

Blue Equipment and A-Level skills were nothing extraordinary—he could have as much as he wanted.

Apart from a few special ones, he really didn’t care much.

The only thing that caught his interest was the [Strategic Angel] among the privileges and equipment rewards.

However, he wasn’t in the mood to inspect them right now…

    And for good reason.

On the system’s orb, a line of dark golden letters continued to flash.

    “[Seizure Successful!!]”

Yenir stared at the words emblazoned on the system’s ‘face’ in exasperation, his scalp tingling.

Seizing privileges was something the Doomsday System could never allow!

Yet at that moment, the Sword God System, as if asserting its sovereignty, flashed dominantly across the orb’s face.

“Damn… do you have to be so arrogant!?!”

    Chapter Summary
