Chapter 275: Blueprints and New Powers
by xennovel“Mission complete!”
“The complete set of S-Class strategic weapon blueprints for the [Air-Space Carrier] has been sent! Please check your inbox!”
The sound of papers fluttering filled the air.
As Yenir’s ring began to flash with a wild burst of white light, the ore that had been packed with rings was suddenly tossed out in heaps like discarded trash.
Instinctively, he sensed the situation inside the ring and couldn’t help but cringe.
The blueprints issued by the system had been directly transmitted into his ring. The dense, miniature mountain of plans occupied most of the ring’s space, naturally forcing the ore out.
“Do we really need this much…?”
“It’s not going to be seen for ages…”
Excitement. Frustration.
Excitement because the blueprints had finally arrived; frustration because there was far too many…
Yenir looked at the blueprints, conflicted, and took a deep breath.
He had expected a lot of data, but never this much…
However, it made sense—this was a complete set of technological materials. Think of a modern high-end fighter jet; its design blueprints would fill an entire warehouse.
The more blueprints, the more technology—it was undoubtedly a good thing.
Recalling the thousands of technologies listed, Yenir hesitated before deciding not to review them immediately.
Although he held a high status in his past life and was familiar with many advanced spirit energy technologies, he was by no means a specialist.
These technical blueprints were better left to the engineers…
“Both worlds need manpower…”
“Once we step out, I must carefully decide who gets to learn these technologies first…”
As his eyes sparkled, a string of names quickly flashed through Yenir’s mind, finally settling on a few he was familiar with.
Huang Zhi, Qian Sanliang… and Chu Tian.
He had no qualms sharing these technologies with the Military; after all, the strength of the Huaxia Battle Zone was directly proportional to his own burden.
Yet, aware of the repercussions of handing over too much, Yenir hoped to prioritize those he could control.
At the very least, allies who would stand by him.
“Once we’re out, I’ll worry about it. Building a carrier is bound to be a long project…”
He decided not to think too much about it.
Yenir lifted his head, casting his gaze back to the luminous orb, or rather, to the line of text representing the Sword God System.
Was that all?
Just a reward? Nothing else?
A puzzled look crossed his face.
Unable to contain his curiosity, Yenir tapped open the Sword God System’s mission panel, trying to see if any changes had occurred.
After all that pomp, it couldn’t be that the system only offered blueprints as a reward, right?
Taking control of the replica’s authority—such an impressive feat surely came with additional perks…
Could it be that the system was playing tricks on him?
Just as Yenir was repeatedly checking the mission panel without finding any changes, the continuously flickering text on the system orb abruptly transformed.
As if it had sensed his thoughts, the blue system orb suddenly dimmed before erupting in a dazzling burst of blue light.
“Beep…”
“Beep…”
“Beep…” Detection complete: the replica process has ended. This instance lacks experimental value. The system is now disengaging…
???
Yenir stared in astonishment at the orb that was changing once again; this time, the answer became clear very quickly.
“Beep. Replica authority has been updated.”
“Current replica owner: Yenir!”
“Current authority level: Maximum!”
“Authority functions:”
“1. Manual Activation (you can activate the replica at any time, unlimited uses)”
“2. Task Publishing (you can issue tasks of any level, customizing content and rewards, with reward items provided by you)”
“3. Time Acceleration (within the replica, you can control the flow of time at up to 10x speed)”
“4. NPC Generation (using NPC creation materials, you can design and manufacture NPCs of any type)”
“5. Weather Control…”
….
…
“Holy crap…”
He stood frozen.
Yenir inhaled sharply, staring in disbelief at the hundreds of new authority functions displayed.
At that moment, he finally grasped the true meaning of seizing replica authority!
After a long moment and a swallowing sound, Yenir slowly began to process the flood of information.
The implication was clear.
Seizing replica authority meant he now controlled the entire instance.
Just like in a sandbox game—he could do whatever he wanted in the replica world!
No exaggeration: as long as he had enough energy, he could instantly create enough assets to fill a university campus or summon a million warriors in a heartbeat.
In other words, he was the god of this world!
Yet, within the granted permissions, he could not find any commands related to mutants or zombies.
“Is that because zombies and such don’t belong to the original replica?”
“But these permissions are more than enough… I can remodel the entire world as I please!”
Suppressing his excitement, Yenir began to work out potential applications for these powers.
Not to mention the indisputable perks of instant activation, time acceleration, and weather control combined…
With these authorities, he no longer had to worry about the replica refusing to bend to his will!
However…
“Whether it is creation or alteration, even acceleration… what on earth is this ‘Catastrophe Force’ needed for it all?”
“Energy? Something similar to spirit energy?”
He pondered deeply.
Yenir furrowed his brow, unable to recall any details about the Catastrophe Force in his memory.
The permission descriptions likened it to gasoline—without it, many functions would be unusable.
Of course, features like replica activation that didn’t alter anything could still be used.
“The system disengagement… The original replica was powered by the Doomsday System. Now that I’ve seized it, the energy must come from my own resources?”
“But I’ve never even heard of this thing—how am I supposed to find it?”
He exhaled slowly, his eyes clouded with complexity. It felt as though he had a high-performance car with no fuel. Every new function tempted him, but the energy shortage was a real kick in the gut. Was it all just to toy with his hopes?
At the very least, someone should have explained what the Catastrophe Force actually was!
“Forget it…”
“Having the ability to activate and publish tasks at will is good enough…”
“In combination, these features might just work wonders.”
A spark lit in his eyes.
Ideas burst into Yenir’s mind in rapid succession, and within moments, he had a plan.
“With this replica under my control, I can screw over anyone I want!”
He chuckled quietly.
He remembered that once he emerged, Japan, Korea, and neighboring countries would undoubtedly be furious. They would want to know what was going on.
Not to mention, it was obvious that they would never give up on this replica.
Initially, he had worried that a constant influx of Awakeners might derail his plans.
But now…
“If I don’t mess with them, I’d be doing myself a disservice…”
“Time to change the plan. Let’s have some fun…”
“Then let’s go big!”
Without further thought, Yenir exited the space with a satisfied smile on his face.
This replica journey had been incredibly rewarding!
I bet the Military will be ecstatic when they see the results—he’d definitely delivered a perfect report.
