The microphone was activated.

A brief buzzing sound echoed through the hall.

On the dais, Li Xuanguo and several senior officials, looking visibly fatigued, tapped the microphone.

No needless chatter followed.

A Military representative signaled for Li Xuanguo to speak. Once confirmed, he grasped the microphone and began in a deep tone:

Scanning the room to ensure everyone was present, the Military representative continued:

“Third, the matter of Yenir’s unauthorized bombing of the East Sea—how do we deal with it!”

His words fell heavily in the room.

Satellite images of the East Sea swiftly appeared on the big screen.

In a burst of grief and fury, Yuan Hai screamed and pounded the conference table with force:

“Prime Minister, deliver justice to us!”

“Give the people of the East Sea the justice they deserve!!”

As his words faded, muffled sobs echoed from the observer seats.
