The assembly fell into complete silence.

Everyone knew just how arrogant Yenir was, but watching him act so brazenly at the conference sent shockwaves through every heart.

Especially since his words carried a clear, premeditated implication.

Before anyone could even try to ease the tension with a comment, six middle-ranking representatives from the audience stood up in unison.

Ignoring Lu Tianming’s furious glare, Yenir sneered and said directly:

“Attacking the top brass of the East Sea Safe Zone?”

“Lu Tianming, if I remember correctly, you proposed at the conference to posthumously honor those forty as martyrs! And your men even had the audacity to slander me for stealing supplies—making it seem like I blew up the East Sea just to cover it up!?”

Without giving Lu Tianming a chance to retort, Yenir gestured with his arm for the six men behind him to speak up.

Watching Yenir’s unusual move, the high-ranking officials present were dumbfounded.

What was he planning? What were these six about to do?

It was as if they had rehearsed the scene.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, the six men began speaking in turn, their voices deep and solemn:

“The five Awakeners appearing in the video have been repeatedly cross-checked and confirmed to be from the East Sea Top Brass. You can clearly see that they were looting supplies from the Starsea Merchant Guild and staging the scene.”

“Second piece of evidence: Footage from a requisitioned motorcade in the East Sea Safe Zone on July 28th!”

“The footage reveals that the requisitioned vehicles were not used to evacuate survivors but were loaded with a large quantity of Mutated Materials. Forensic analysis shows that these materials were forcibly retained and eventually sent to a private club in the Dongqing Safe Zone instead of being handed over to the Military.”

“The second video segment shows members of the Dongsea Merchant Guild receiving supplies!”

One piece of evidence after another, representatives from various departments introduced the details of their evidence.

In an instant, the high-ranking officials in attendance suddenly realized what Yenir was up to.

Yenir was using the evidence to prove to everyone that those whom Lu Tianming claimed should be honored as martyrs were nothing but corrupt officials!

“Fourth piece of evidence: Recorded conversations between the top officials of the East Sea Safe Zone and regional military leaders.”

“According to the recordings, the forty managers from various districts who claimed to be rescuing survivors had already reached an agreement to cover up fabricated accounts from previous years by using the East Sea crisis as an excuse while embezzling Safe Zone assets.”

“During their conversations, they repeatedly mentioned Chen Feng among others, claiming they wanted to curry favor with the esteemed Chen Feng of the Capital.”

“In our documents, within the Capital Safe Zone, there is only one employee named Chen Feng — who actually visited Committee Member Lu Tianming on July 27th!”

“What crime should be judged for such acts?!”

“Should these bastards… be executed?!”

He bellowed in anger.

Lu Tianming, frozen in place, clenched his fists tightly. In that moment, he realized he had grossly underestimated this young man!

He couldn’t even muster a response!

In the next second, Yenir stepped forward again, coolly declaring as though answering an unspoken question:

“If you won’t speak up, then I will!”

“Such actions, by military law, warrant immediate execution to set an example!”

“Am I wrong for killing them?!”

“Lu Tianming! What are your true intentions in whitewashing these scum? Do you aspire to win popular support and carve out your own territory?!”

Seeing Lu Tianming’s ashen face and his prolonged inability to answer, Yenir sneered inwardly, unsurprised by the reaction.

No one could have imagined that he had prepared for today’s confrontation even before the East Sea explosion!

An eye for an eye!

If Lu Tianming dared to defame him, Yenir wouldn’t hesitate to reduce this old dog to ruin—a fate worse than death!

Would he swallow the bite?
