Chapter Index

    His expression changed drastically.

At that moment, the researcher locked onto by Yenir’s aura trembled all over. What might sound like mere angry scolding to outsiders struck him like a clap of thunder, turning his face ashen.

Impossible!? How did that kid know I tampered with the data!?

He didn’t even give him a moment to react.

    “Ahhh!!”

Yenir kicked him to the ground, and as the man let out a piercing scream, bright white flashes burst from Yenir’s hand.

    “Smack!”

A series of pre-arranged technologies appeared in his hand in an instant. Without hesitation, Yenir coldly declared:

    “Spirit Energy Armor, huh!?”

“I just happened to acquire that technology too! You dare to compare the data?”

    “Smack!”

Documents flew through the air, landing squarely on the face of the groaning researcher.

    “Enhanced Physique Potion!?”

    “Smack!”

“Take a look at this – what do you call it!?”

    “High Torque Extended-Range Engine?!”

“Sorry! I happen to have the complete version right here!”

    “New Form Spirit Steel!?”

“No need for your research anymore!”

    “Smack!”

    “Smack!!”

    “Smack!!!”

    ….

A minute later, after unleashing twelve Spirit Energy technologies in rapid succession, Yenir sat with his knees hugged close as he coldly surveyed the stunned onlookers. Their faces, pelted by documents, were etched with disbelief and terror.

What is this!? Are these documents all the very projects they had been researching!?

    Incredulity, shock.

Before Director Zhang could even fully register what was happening, Yenir sneered, breaking the silence:

“If I don’t see what I want before tomorrow, I’ll tear this place apart!”

“And by the way, some people can pack up and leave.”

    “Research?”

“What a load of crap. You really think I don’t know what you’re playing at?!”

With that, Yenir didn’t even bother glancing at the researchers lying on the ground—he simply turned and walked off.

He hadn’t intended to be this brutal; he originally planned to be a bit more ‘gentle’ and release the Air-Space Carrier technologies at a more opportune time.

But alas, there are far too many idiots in this world…

As footsteps echoed, the remaining researchers stared in shock at Yenir’s retreating back. An indescribable surge of turmoil churned in their minds like a sudden storm.

    Taking a deep breath.

Unlike the others, dumbstruck by his insults, Director Zhang himself trembled as he slowly bent down to pick up the documents from the ground.

Each document represented years of research, any one of which could significantly bolster the Military’s strength.

Many of the technology files bore names so startling even he felt a chill.

Could all these documents really be genuine!?

Yenir… just how many rewards did he snatch from the simulation? What on earth is going on!?

Trembling as he flipped through the documents, he seemed utterly shaken, as if his very worldview was crumbling.

    “Director! Director!!”

“Ahhh! Somebody help! Arrest him! This is outrageous! Director, he’s hurt our people!”

One researcher, mortified by the slap delivered by Yenir, collapsed into a breakdown on the ground.

With threats and dismissals, Yenir’s unfiltered tirade completely shattered their defenses!

What kind of brute is he? This isn’t just roughhousing—it’s outright banditry! He’s insulting us high achievers!

Naturally, he feared that the documents Yenir had thrown might indeed be genuine.

He couldn’t fathom that the projects they’d been laboring over were already in existence. Abandoned pride aside, the humiliated few began calling for the guards.

Who are they?! They’re the Military’s prized assets! Even if a general shows up, they must be treated with the utmost respect!

But moments later, a shout of mixed fury and astonishment rang out:

    “Shut up!!”

Crouched on the ground, Zhang Tao clutched the thin stack of documents as though he’d discovered a priceless treasure, his breaths coming in rapid, trembling gasps.

Although the handwriting on these files appeared rushed and visibly tampered with, every word seemed capable of coming true, instantly revealing their value.

These technologies… they must be as real as the schematics Yenir showed earlier!!

Instinctively, Zhang Tao looked up, his hair now completely white. Disregarding Yenir’s earlier arrogance, he stared blankly in the direction the man had departed.

In that instant, he seemed to grasp the rumors about Yenir’s mysterious backing from the Military.

“No wonder the higher-ups are constantly at each other’s throats… that’s why the Military keeps reminding me…”

    “I get it… I get it!!”

No one knew that Director Zhang had pieced together what Yenir must have said to the Prime Minister and others during that final meeting after dismissing the committee members.

    ……………….

Outside the Research Institute, by an official car.

Yenir watched with a wry smile as Sun Li Cheng, trembling with excitement and admiration, his eyes red with emotion, gazed up at him.

“Go on, do your thing. I believe in you.”

He waved, motioning for the car door to be opened. Just as Yenir was about to reassure Sun Li Cheng not to get so worked up, a private message alert snapped him back to attention.

The message was from Fang Hao, who was battling on the frontlines in the East Sea.

    “Yenir!”

“That Sea Beast is still on the move!! It broke through the ruins of the East Sea!”

    Chapter Summary
