Chapter Index

It looks completely different from all the other skills…

With utmost focus, Yenir took a deep breath and decisively opened the skill panel aglow with a dark red light.

For some reason, even though it’s an SSS-level skill like the others, the option for Final Judgment radiated a dark red glow that seemed almost on the verge of exploding.

It was like a sealed volcano, exuding an awe-inspiring intensity.

As he focused, Yenir froze in shock for an instant.

    The effects of this skill!?

    【Final Judgment】: SSS-Level Sword Technique

Skill Effect: Consumes a point of Spirit Energy, mental power, and 70% of physical strength upon release. If any condition isn’t met, it automatically deducts health instead.

Upon successful deduction, it transitions you into the initial Judge Form.

    Judge Form (Initial):

    Effect 1: All attributes +10!

Effect 2: Grants a massive boost to movement speed, capping at three times the speed of sound, which scales with power and comes with complete immunity to negative effects!

Effect 3: 50% damage reduction and instant removal of all negative effects!

Effect 4: Attacks gain an explosive effect, dealing area damage with every hit!

Effect 5: While in Judge Form, every enemy within a hundred meters is subjected to a rank suppression effect that terrifies the mind, potentially inducing fear and paralysis!

Effect 6: Forced Lock-On! Any target you mark cannot escape your sight, regardless of abilities like teleportation!

    【Additional Skill】:

Divine Punishment: While in Judge Form, you can sustain the enhanced state for up to ten seconds or reduce it to three seconds, then unleash a Divine Punishment attack on your target! Once activated, a Divine Punishment Sword is summoned in a split second to deal massive damage that ignores rank differences – real damage that can only be mitigated by health.

Under the Divine Punishment lock, the target cannot evade or teleport, and upon impact, suffers a paralysis effect.

The skill description was long – arguably the longest Yenir had ever seen.

It took him a full thirty seconds to recover, and now Yenir stood with his mouth agape, overwhelmed by an indescribable shock.

    This is insanely powerful!?

Both are SSS-level skills, so why is this enhanced version so damn formidable!?

Just as he suspected – his hunch was right!

The stronger the base skill, the better the enhancement!

Heart racing, Yenir braced himself to test it immediately. Taking a deep breath, he felt as if he had just won the lottery!

Judge Form – isn’t that practically invincibility!?

Complete enhancement, built-in teleport acceleration, amplified attacks, and even control immunity… Damn, not even ten Fallen Heavens can match this form!

Divine Punishment skill… is it just a toned-down version of Divine Rage?

He just wasn’t sure how potent it was…

But he figured it couldn’t be any worse! Real damage, plus that massive extra hit – it’s bound to be stronger than Sky Rift Radiance, right!?

Reading the phrase ‘only health can mitigate’ in the description, Yenir instantly formed a rough idea.

The peak Awakeners indeed have incredible vitality – far surpassing the Third-Stage Advanced – but even then, their strength has limits!

In terms of defenses augmented by Spirit Energy, there’s no comparison at all!

Besides, Lu Haishan didn’t exactly strike him as a vitality powerhouse – that old guy must be in his seventies!

Recalling Lu Haishan’s background, Yenir exhaled slightly and a cold smile tugged at his lips.

Lu Haishan was an old-timer born before the apocalypse.

And because of that, Lu Tianming was his cherished son in his later years, indulged without restraint.

With Dimensional Surge combined with Judge Form, plus Divine Rage…

To be honest, Yenir wasn’t even sure exactly how strong he had become now.

Death Duel would be a cakewalk… He just needed to get a handle on his new skill – three days were all it would take!

Closing the skill panel, Yenir, erring on the side of caution, decided to test his strength ahead of time.

After all, his opponents were already among the pinnacle of human combat prowess.

The question now was… Who would he pick on to spar with?

The energy cost of Final Judgment was enormous – at his current reserves, he probably couldn’t even activate it once.

Fortunately, the Sword God System granted him a free cast every 24 hours, allowing him to release it without cost…

With three days at his disposal – minus today – he really only had one chance to test it…

His eyes flashed as if he’d just thought of something; without hesitation, Yenir sent a private message to someone.

He needed a sparring partner – preferably someone whose fighting style mirrored Lu Haishan’s!

And right then, there was just the right person!

    …………………..

Half an hour later, at the Capital Military District Base.

Inside the cordoned-off Underground Training Field, Fang Hao’s face twitched as he glared at the arriving Yenir with a grim expression.

“Yenir, do you think I’m an easy target?”

“Damn it! Zhao Hongtu, you don’t even pick on me, and with your Liang Lie you’d never target me! Yet here you come after me!?”

Suppressing his anger, Fang Hao appeared as if his pride had been deeply insulted, nearly losing control to beat Yenir.

Just half an hour earlier, Yenir had come over, earnestly asking him for a favor.

At first, Fang Hao assumed it was something important; only after inquiring did he realize that Yenir intended to duel him – making him the target!

“Damn! What kind of nonsense is this!?”

He was the illustrious Four Commander, a Peak Third-Stage powerhouse, revered as one of China’s top fighters – Fang Hao, leader of the Demon Hunting Legion – and yet he was challenged by a mere Third-Stage Mid-level rookie!

Frankly, the moment he read the message, Fang Hao suddenly understood what Lu Tianming had felt back then.

Anyone would have lost their temper if a kid were up-close and demanding a duel, practically riding them and challenging face-to-face.

Especially since Yenir was taking it incredibly seriously, even insisting that he wear all his gear to avoid injury!

“Uncle Fang, if I don’t even have the guts to challenge you, how can you and the Prime Minister trust that I can take down Lu Haishan? Not to mention the upcoming national war?”

His expression was earnest and sincere.

Facing Fang Hao, the Elemental Blade in Yenir’s hand suddenly flared into a burst of scorching flames, instantly lighting up the dim training field.

The flickering shadows danced on the alloyed wall behind them, the reflections of the flames seeming to ignite a rising battle fervor in his eyes.

Listening to Yenir’s earnest tone, Fang Hao was rendered momentarily speechless.

Yes, in theory that was correct – he had also heard from the Prime Minister that Yenir might be hiding a terrifying trump card.

Yet, he also suspected that this hidden card required certain conditions to be activated.

Apparently it needed a life sacrifice? And to be honest, Fang Hao didn’t believe that Yenir’s hidden card could outmatch him.

    “Yenir, think it through.”

“Even though both Lu Haishan and I are Peak Third-Stage, I’m not exaggerating when I say that on a real battlefield, I could end Lu Haishan in three seconds!”

“Among all of China’s top fighters in the Huaxia Battle Zone, my strength is undeniably in the top ten – and that includes those old-timers who’ve been hiding for years!”

With his arms folded, Fang Hao declared proudly – it wasn’t arrogance, but a rock-solid conviction!

As the leader of the Demon Hunting Legion, his combat experience ranked him among the very best of the elite!

Even within the Peak Third-Stage, there were vast differences!

In his mind, Yenir might indeed be able to take down Lu Haishan – but dueling him, he’d probably last not even a second!

If Lu Haishan, who had lived a life of luxury without much combat, was considered the weakest of the Peak Third-Stage,

then Fang Hao was at the peak of his power – a true powerhouse!

“I want to give it a try.”

Looking at Fang Hao, Yenir’s eyes showed not a trace of hesitation.

His tone was resolute, as if Fang Hao’s imposing aura had no effect on him at all!

Exactly – his attributes and Spirit Energy reserves were indeed far behind Fang Hao’s, but that didn’t mean he was scared!

So what if his power was two levels lower!?

In his previous life, he was the strongest of his time – unmatched!

Yenir was innately prouder than anyone!

    “Good!!”

    “Then let’s fight!”

    He didn’t say anything further.

Staring at Yenir radiating fierce determination, Fang Hao too felt his competitive spirit ignite.

A sharp shout echoed through the empty training field, and the next moment, a dazzling burst of cyan light erupted around him.

As his aura reached its peak, within the vast training ground, red and cyan streams of Spirit Energy pressure collided fiercely.
