Chapter Index

On the ground, Song Gang—the only one of the two survivors who had been dragged in—was spitting blood, and his once lifeless eyes now flickered with a strange spark.

Watching the panicked Blood Wolf Leader desperately trying to hide, he felt an unexpected thrill.

    “You filthy scum!”

    “Let’s all go die together!”

Exhausting every ounce of strength as blood froth sprayed from his mouth, he knew he was doomed the moment the third-tier mutant appeared. Yet, watching these beasts meet their end alongside him, he was immensely grateful to the one who had triggered the seventh round!

Before he could unleash his anger, the Blood Wolf Leader—now targeted by the Sand Worm’s scent—was trembling with rage.

She never imagined that a simple hunt would end in such a disastrous collapse.

No matter how lavish her equipment or formidable her strength, the level gap meant she stood no chance against the monster!

Beyond the third tier, the gap in power between each level grew as astronomical as the heavens themselves!

    “Is it you!?”

With venomous eyes, the Blood Wolf Leader, after barely dodging the Sand Worm’s massive maw, furiously resolved to kill Song Gang first!

Her beautiful face twisted uncontrollably in rage, her hatred so fierce that nothing—no crushing blow or scattering of dust—could ease it.

Yet, as she took a half-step forward, the Sand Worm’s target locked onto her, and danger struck instantly. In a frantic bid for survival, she had to dodge the beast’s lunge once again.

    “Boom!! Boom! Boom!!”

Unlike its massive body, the third-tier Sand Worm that burst from the ground moved with lightning speed. Every strike shattered the sound barrier, pounding the earth like a falling hammer from the heavens.

A Middle-Aged Man, dragged and sprawled on the ground, burst into hearty laughter, utterly indifferent to the injuries he had sustained.

Does the Blood Wolf Leader think he was behind this mess? Never mind—he now only wanted to watch these scum get devoured alive by the Sand Worm!

    “Hey, can you still move?”

Just as Song Gang stared at the scrambling figures with almost admiring intensity, a clear, youthful voice suddenly rang in his ear.

“Who? Who’s speaking? It sounds so familiar…”

The next second, he turned with difficulty to see the severely injured Yenir, who, looking as if nothing were wrong, calmly carried a severed head.

“If you can still move, get as far away as possible.”

Without further ado, after his succinct warning, Yenir casually tossed the severed head aside.

The moment the Sand Worm appeared, he capitalized on a Blood Wolf member’s distraction to decapitate his foe.

Watching the hapless Blood Wolf Leader flounder, a slight smile played on his lips.

Just as he had predicted, the advanced mutant prioritized hunting down the awakened individual with the strongest spiritual power!

Without a moment’s hesitation, Yenir dashed aside to unleash his skill.

At full speed, his form moved like a nimble phantom, and within a few strides he reached the top of the Factory.

Striking the ground from above created the most devastating area effect!

Fixing his gaze on the Blood Wolf Squad huddled hesitantly around the Sand Worm, Yenir quickly calculated the perfect moment to strike.

After a few breaths, having spotted the Blood Wolf Leader who had faltered under the Sand Worm’s assault, he drew a deep breath and brazenly unleashed his sword technique directly at her.

    There’s only one chance!

    But that’s enough!

    Sword Storm!!

In an instant, a terrifying, boundless aura surged from above as spiritual energy was summoned. As the wild power compressed and converged, countless invisible streams of sword breath materialized into tangible blades. Over a thousand missiles of sword rain cascaded down in a furious barrage.

On the ground, the Blood Wolf Leader—struggling to dodge—suddenly spat blood with a startled cry. Before she could recover, a dreadful aura spread rapidly overhead. Too late to think, she hastily looked up to see a grim, sword-laden rain reflected in her eyes.

Her pupils constricted in terror as the biting sword breath seared her eyes painfully.

    What… is that!?

She had never witnessed such an overwhelming display—each stream of sword breath brimmed with immense destructive power.

Glancing at the direction of the falling swords, she was shocked to see them headed straight for her!

    “Who is it!?”

Facing imminent death, she sensed that this sword storm posed an even greater threat than the Sand Worm.

Her face was etched with sheer terror and disbelief.

Even the third-tier Sand Worm—a creature of limited intellect—paused its pursuit, its primal instincts betraying a hint of fear.

    “SAAA!!”

Lifting its head, it roared in fury; in its chaotic mind, the torrent of sword breath now threatened its very existence!

Pushing his spiritual energy to its limits and realizing that failure to evade would mean death, the Blood Wolf Leader’s face contorted with madness as she desperately tried to put distance between herself and the onslaught.

Yet, after wasting two displacement skills, she found in despair that she simply couldn’t escape the area of impact.

It’s too vast—the area is simply enormous!

“Who is it!? Who on earth is it!?”

An attack of this caliber must be above third-tier! In this entire instance, aside from her being third-tier, there’s no other contender at that level!?

With a look of deep indignation, she barely managed to dash just over ten meters when the terrifying Sword Storm descended upon her like a sudden bombardment.

    Shadows loomed.

In an instant, dazzling spiritual light erupted like the brightest fireworks, engulfing the largest Sand Worm in a flash.

Like melting ice and snow, amid brief, agonized howls, the massive body of the Sand Worm was swiftly swallowed by the sword stream. Clusters of blood mist burst, drenching the area in a fine, relentless blood rain.

    The aftereffects were unrelenting.

After obliterating the Sand Worm without obstruction, the relentless sword stream continued to pound the ground.

    “Boom boom boom! Boom!”

It was as if a thousand cannons had fired simultaneously—in the instant the sword stream hit the ground, powerful shockwaves erupted in all directions, like clustered bombs. The earth instantly broke apart into craters of varying sizes.

The heavens shattered and the earth cracked as screams were drowned out by the roaring sword breath.

Ten seconds later, Yenir exhaled softly, calmly surveying the ruined Square. A massive pit, thirty meters deep, slowly billowed blue smoke from searing heat.

All the Blood Wolves were incinerated by his overwhelming assault, their demise absolute.

Even the colossal Sand Worm was reduced to fragmented scraps, with only a few charred, foul-smelling chunks of flesh left in the pit.

The effect was as brutally overwhelming as ever…

Watching the terrifying scene he had wrought single-handedly, Yenir couldn’t help but let a slight smile play at the corner of his mouth.

At that moment, the system’s notification for the seventh round resounded instantly.

Not far from the pit, Song Gang—who had crawled out at Yenir’s warning—watched the scene in stunned disbelief.

Seeing a sword scar less than a meter from his feet sent a chill of terror through him.

Had it not been for the very instant Yenir unleashed his skill, he would have struggled with every ounce of strength to crawl free. Under such a fearsome attack, he feared he would vanish into nothing but white smoke, leaving no trace of a body.

    “You… are you… third-tier!?”

    He stuttered.

Terrified, Song Gang watched Yenir’s retreating figure, feeling as though his entire worldview had been upended. He had witnessed with his own eyes the attack that Yenir had summoned—a display of such monstrous power that it couldn’t simply be third-tier; it might even surpass intermediate or high-tier levels!

In one stroke, a third-tier Sand Worm and a third-tier awakened individual were taken out. Such a deadly technique was beyond his wildest dreams.

Could a super-strong fighter really be disguising himself as a second-tier to infiltrate their ranks?!

Ignoring his own shock as he moved to gather equipment from the battlefield, Yenir suddenly furrowed his brow and sent the dagger at his waist flying out instantly.

In his senses, someone was still alive in the deep pit.

    Though very faint.
