The secretary took out a phone sending a pre-edited text message.

The conference room door was kicked open as a group of police officers rushed in.

Supporters of Huo Shen were startled by the sudden scene.

While those backing Zhao Pin wore smug smiles, remaining composed, clearly aware of the unfolding event.

After confirming everyone called was present, the lead officer ordered the arrests.

The middle-aged man who threatened to take Zhao Pin’s life glared at him as if ready to devour him.

Zhao Pin calmly straightened his tie, saying, “Helping Director Huo was once a strength, but it’s also a stain. Criminal acts aren’t something to flaunt. I found evidence against you.”

“Every citizen in China must report criminals. You will serve your next half of life in prison.”

Tongue-tied, Zhang Qiang’s back broke out in a cold sweat.

Gathering evidence and alerting police so quickly.
