Wang Kun gave Xu Shaochen a cold look then pulled out a chair to sit.

Liao Wenzu and the others followed suit as Xu Shaochen casually remarked “Young Master Kun it seems your dogs lack manners. Since when do beasts sit at their master’s table?”

Liao Wenzu and the others were furious, veins bulging from being so insulted.

“Bang!”

Wang Kun slammed the table glaring at Xu Shaochen. “That guy named Xu don’t push it! I’m here for a deal not to be insulted!”

Liao Wenzu and the others gained a bit more respect for Wang Kun for standing strong against Xu Shaochen.

“Just a joke, no need to get worked up. Let’s sit, sit. I’m paying tonight.”

Xu Shaochen laughed sitting down with an arm around Yuxiu kicking back proudly.

Wang Kun and his group sat opposite Xu Shaochen as waiters started serving dishes.

Just as Wang Kun started to speak Xu Shaochen interrupted “Let’s eat first okay? I want to try this new restaurant’s food.”

Suddenly, Yuxiu’s wine glass slipped and shattered on the floor.

Instantly, all eyes in the restaurant turned to them.

A waiter approached them.

“My girlfriend accidentally broke a glass. I’ll pay for it and the bill now.”

Xu Shaochen said calmly a glass meant nothing to him.

“Alright sir please wait a moment.”

With a smile, the waiter picked up the glass shards.

Soon after, the waiter returned with a notebook and handed it to Xu Shaochen. “Sir this is your bill please check it.”

“Waiter, there’s a mistake on this bill get your manager.”

Seeing the bill for 150,000 Yuan, Xu Shaochen frowned.

He had checked the menu and only the wine was expensive at 50,000. How could it add up to 150,000? While 150,000 wasn’t much to him, he wouldn’t spend it wastefully.

Right then a middle-aged man in a suit came over. “I’m the manager. Your bill is not for the food but for the glass. It’s an imported antique worth 60,000 each.”

The manager chuckled “Just because other places don’t doesn’t mean we don’t.”
