Chapter Index

A group of Japanese players, dressed in uniforms, entered the court under the guidance of their coach.

Seeing the excited crowd, the Japanese players displayed arrogant expressions and exchanged words in low Japanese.

“Yamamoto-kun, look at these foolish Longguo people. They’re actually welcoming us.”

“Haha, since they’re so enthusiastic, let’s crush their team later as a thank you.”

“That’s right. We need to let them know that basketball isn’t something Longguo people can play. These weaklings are not worthy.”

The coach leading the group smirked as he heard this and said coldly, “Bastards, they’re mocking us.”

The Japanese players, who had been joking, suddenly froze and then became enraged.

They only knew a bit of Longguo language, so they hadn’t realized they were being insulted. They thought they were being welcomed.

They felt their intelligence had been insulted.

“Baka! Damn Longguo people! I’ll definitely teach you a lesson on the court!”

“They’re being way too arrogant. We need to help them face reality…”

Several Japanese players raised their middle fingers towards the surrounding students in a show of disdain.

The school leaders frowned but didn’t say anything. They shook hands with the Japanese coach and invited him to sit beside them.

“Since this is your first time in Longguo for a friendly match, do you have anything you’d like to say?”

The event host handed a microPhone to one of the Japanese players to interact with the audience.

The Japanese player raised his head, looked around, and with a sneer, said in broken Chinese, “I will use my strength to show you that when it comes to basketball, Longguo people can’t compete with us Japanese!”

After saying this, he raised a middle finger at the crowd, his face full of arrogance.

“Damn it, how dare he raise his middle finger! Don’t hold me back, I’ll kill him!”

“Damn it, these Japanese bastards always act so cocky. We’ll beat the crap out of them later!”

    “Crush them!”

Everyone was indignant, shouting at the top of their lungs, their emotions running high with anger.

Xu Shaochen also frowned, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. These Japanese players were far too arrogant.

One of the vice principals of Jiangzhou University looked displeased and said to the Japanese team’s coach, “Mr. Inoue, don’t you think your students’ words were a bit inappropriate?”

“Heh, you’re overthinking it. Our Japanese youth are naturally confident and full of vigor.”

Inoue chuckled dismissively, his face full of arrogance.

The implication was clear: the youth of Longguo couldn’t compare to their Japanese counterparts.

Several school leaders were infuriated upon hearing this. This little man was too arrogant. They could only hope their team would crush them on the court.

As the crowd anxiously awaited, the starting lineups of the Kyoto University team and the Jiangzhou University Team stood at the center of the court.

Zhang Qingsong was one of the starters for Jiangzhou University.

“Alright, boys, make sure they lose gloriously.”

Li Ren patted Zhang Qingsong on the shoulder, making him even more excited, nodding repeatedly.

    “Whooo-shhh—”

With the sound of the whistle, the game officially began.

Jiangzhou University won possession of the ball first. Zhang Qingsong dribbled past several players and scored two points.

    The crowd erupted in cheers.

Feeling the cheers around him, Zhang Qingsong raised his hands with a satisfied expression on his face.

But the Japanese team remained smug, barely paying attention.

“Look at how excited these Longguo people are. It’s time for us to get serious.”

“Gentlemen, let’s show them that in the presence of us Japanese, all Longguo people are garbage!”

The situation quickly changed as the Japanese team began scoring non-stop, while Jiangzhou University missed multiple shots and even committed several fouls.

    “Clang!”

A Japanese player soared and violently slammed the ball into the basket, hanging from the rim while raising one finger and pointing downwards three times.

Seeing this, everyone was filled with fury, yet they were helpless. Their team was indeed being crushed.

“Murashita-kun, I can’t understand why the school arranged for us to play in Longguo. This is like bullying children.”

“I feel the same way. Winning this easily feels downright contemptible.”

“Hahaha, guys, take a look at those angry Longguo people! Don’t they look like a bunch of ridiculous monkeys?”

The Japanese team members laughed and mocked the Longguo people with abandon, making all kinds of provocative gestures.

Zhang Qingsong and the others were drenched in sweat, their faces full of shame and anger because they were no match for the Japanese team at all.

Aside from the first basket at the start, they had been beaten down the entire time.

“Damn it, I really want to kill those bastards!”

Everyone around the court was burning with anger, wishing they could rush in and beat the Japanese players to death.

The school leaders behind the desk sat with grim expressions, silently watching the scene.

The Japanese coach showed a face full of pride and sneered, “Mr. Principal, it seems the strength of your Jiangzhou University team is nothing remarkable. I must say, I overestimated you.”

He left unspoken the thought: Your Longguo people aren’t anything special either.

“Here, take this. I’m going to teach those Japanese punks a lesson.”

Xu Shaochen handed the water bottle to a classmate beside him, then strode towards the court.

He was going to beat those Japanese players so bad they would call him dad.

The classmate, still dazed, took the water bottle and stared blankly at Xu Shaochen’s back for a while before reacting.

    “What is he doing!”

Noticing Xu Shaochen heading towards the court, everyone around the court was stunned.

“Come on, make some space for me. If you can’t handle it, step aside and let me.”

Xu Shaochen waved Zhang Qingsong aside and spoke.

“What did you say? You’re going to play? Are you trying to kill me with laughter? Who do you think you are? You don’t even know how to play basketball, and you’re annoying us by embarrassing yourself even more?”

Zhang Qingsong felt deeply humiliated as he heard this and sneered at Xu Shaochen.

“Gentlemen, did you hear that? Someone who can’t even play basketball wants to defeat us.”

“By the grace of Amaterasu, this foolish and arrogant Longguo person has truly made me laugh.”

“Are they replacing one loser with another to continue embarrassing themselves? Or maybe all Longguo people are just losers?”

The Japanese team barely understood Xu Shaochen’s words, but laughed uproariously, unabashedly mocking him.

“Mr. Principal, your students are quite amusing.”

The Japanese coach looked at the principal and remarked sarcastically.

The principal’s face darkened, and he remained silent. Today, their reputation was completely ruined.

“Let him try. I’ll step down.”

A Jiangzhou University player, unable to bear the psychological pressure any longer, quickly turned and walked off the court after speaking.
