“Hello, you two! I’m He Chao, the owner of this store. How can I assist you today?”

A few minutes later, a portly, middle-aged man with a shiny, oily face approached them, smiling warmly.

He Chao turned and walked to the back room, calling out to the sales assistant, “Get some water for these two!”
