Chapter 21: Having Fun at My Expense

Liu Ruxu’s office.

“Why did you suddenly decide to come find me? What? We just parted yesterday, and you’re already missing your sister today?”

Liu Ruxu naturally sat in Xu Shaochen’s lap, lifted his chin with a delicate finger, and playfully asked, her breath like orchids.

As he looked at her moist, luscious lips so close to him, Xu Shaochen took a deep breath, suppressing the urge in his heart. He said, “Sister Liu, stop playing around. Help me with some serious business first.”

“What is it?” Liu Ruxu was a bit taken aback. She thought Xu Shaochen came looking for her because he couldn’t resist her charms anymore. But it turned out he actually had some real business to attend to.

Xu Shaochen took out his bank card: “Transfer some money. Put two million and five hundred thousand into my two different accounts.”

“Alright, then follow me.” Liu Ruxu took the bank card, nodded, then got off Xu Shaochen’s lap and led him out of the office.

With Liu Ruxu handling it personally, the whole thing was done in just a few minutes.

“How about having lunch together?” Liu Ruxu asked, holding Xu Shaochen’s arm, her tone carrying a bit of a playful whine.

Xu Shaochen shook his head: “Sister Liu, I can’t today. I have something to do at noon. Maybe another time.”

“Alright then, I won’t delay your business. Bye-bye.”

Liu Ruxu watched Xu Shaochen leave the bank and muttered to herself, “You little rascal, after stirring up my flames, you just up and run away. Sigh, seems like I’ll have to handle it myself again.”

Meanwhile, Xu Shaochen drove to the school gate and waited for Xie Wei.

“Shaochen.”

After about ten minutes, Xie Wei arrived, dressed in a white cheongsam, her fragrance following her like a butterfly fluttering in.

In an instant, everyone at the school gate looked at Xu Shaochen with jealous and envious eyes, all wishing they could trade places with him.

Even though they didn’t know Xu Shaochen, they knew Xie Wei. After all, she was one of the school’s famous beauties.

Xie Wei directly threw herself into Xu Shaochen’s arms.

Xu Shaochen brought Xie Wei to a Western restaurant with elegant surroundings and, most importantly, a quiet atmosphere.

“Shaochen, what are you going to do tonight? Can you take me with you?”

During their meal, Xie Wei widened her beautiful eyes and sweetly asked. She had already asked Zhou Fan and the others and knew they were going to a bar.

But smart as she was, she didn’t say it outright. Instead, she left the choice to Xu Shaochen, allowing him to enjoy the feeling of making decisions for her.

This also subtly told Xu Shaochen that she was his; whatever he wanted her to do, she would do. If he didn’t go, she absolutely wouldn’t go.

Xu Shaochen looked at Xie Wei with a half-smiling expression: “I’m going there to have some fun. Do you really want to come along and watch?”

“Then… you could also have some fun with me!” Xie Wei bit her red lip, carefully glanced around, and then, blushing, whispered in a voice as soft as a mosquito’s buzz.

The thought of watching Xu Shaochen being affectionate with other women made her feel a little uneasy. But if she didn’t see it herself, she couldn’t feel at ease.

After all, what if some other little temptress took this chance to steal him away? Wouldn’t that be a huge loss for her? She had to keep a close eye on Xu Shaochen.

Xu Shaochen didn’t say anything, just quietly stared at her.

A smile immediately bloomed on Xie Wei’s face, but under Xu Shaochen’s teasing gaze, she involuntarily blushed and lowered her head.

“Enjoy your meal.”

A waiter came over, carrying their food.

“Thank you. Open a bottle of wine. I’ll have Romane Conti.” Xu Shaochen snapped his fingers and casually said to the waiter.

The waiter’s gaze toward Xu Shaochen became warmer, and the smile on his face grew more enthusiastic: “Certainly, sir. Please wait a moment.”

Romane Conti wine, a bottle costing over ten thousand yuan. Clearly, Xu Shaochen was a rich young master.

“Weiwei, eat something.”

Xu Shaochen smiled at Xie Wei.

Xie Wei rolled her eyes playfully, then withdrew her hand and picked up her knife and fork to start eating. After their meal, Xu Shaochen paid the bill and walked out of the restaurant with his arm around Xie Wei.

They then went shopping, with Xu Shaochen picking up a few outfits. Naturally, he also treated Xie Wei well, but she insisted on just getting a dress and refused anything else, even using her own money to buy him a tie.

Xu Shaochen drove off to pick up Zhou Fan, Li Qi, and Liu Chao.

“Goddess Xie is coming too!”

When the three saw Xie Wei sitting in the front passenger seat, they were all a bit surprised. After all, with a familiar woman present, they couldn’t completely let loose.

“No worries, you guys do your thing. Don’t mind me. I’m just here to accompany Shaochen. And please stop calling me Goddess Xie. Just call me by my name,” Xie Wei said softly, smiling faintly at the three.

But now, they called her by her name, something they rarely did in front of her.

“Alright, get in the car. It’s already past eight.”

Xu Shaochen prompted the three of them.

Zhou Fan and the other two squeezed into the back seat.

Xu Shaochen then drove off, taking the four of them to the bar on the street behind the school.
