Chapter 24: Xu Gongzi Treats for Everyone
by xennovelZhou Fan, Li Qi, Liu Chao, and Xie Wei were all stunned, looking at Xu Shaochen in disbelief.
At first, they were worried, but to their surprise, Fu Hua was so polite to Xu Shaochen, and Zhang Ji even directly knelt down.
Xu Shaochen seemed to become more and more difficult for them to understand.
“Xu Ge, look at this…”
Watching Zhang Ji begging bitterly on the ground, Fu Hua, as a friend, couldn’t help but plead for him.
“Alright, get up.”
Xu Shaochen glanced at him, then looked at Zhang Ji on the ground and said calmly.
Fu Hua is Dean Fu’s son, so even if I don’t give face to Fu Hua, I still have to give face to Dean Fu.
“Yes, yes, thank you so much, Young Master Xu. Thank you!”
Zhang Ji immediately breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. He quickly stood up, repeatedly thanking Xu Shaochen. Unbeknownst to him, his entire back was already soaked with sweat.
“Xu Ge, I’ll cover all your expenses tonight,” Fu Hua said, looking at Xu Shaochen.
Xu Shaochen shook his head, “No need. I ruined everyone’s fun today. Tonight’s expenses are on me.”
The DJ on stage quickly took the microphone and announced in a drawn-out voice, “Tonight’s expenses for the whole bar are covered by Young Master Xu! Let’s hear some cheers—”
“Whoa—Young Master Xu! Young Master Xu!”
“Ahhh! Young Master Xu, I love you! Can I sleep with you tonight?”
“Young Master Xu! Young Master Xu…”
Suddenly, the once-quiet bar erupted into chaos. Screams and cheers filled the air, with chants of “Young Master Xu” echoing off the walls.
It was easy to imagine that after tonight, everyone in the bar would remember Xu Shaochen, or rather, Young Master Xu.
“I hope everyone has a great time tonight!”
Xu Shaochen smiled, raised his glass, and downed it in one go.
The deafening cheers and screams made Xu Shaochen feel incredibly exhilarated because this was the sound of money.
And right now, money is something Xu Shaochen has in abundance!
Zhou Fan, Li Qi, and Liu Chao were all deeply moved emotionally. They clenched their fists, secretly vowing to succeed and not fall further behind Xu Shaochen.
Xie Wei’s beautiful eyes sparkled with a dreamy hue as she unconsciously leaned into Xu Shaochen’s embrace.
“Xu Ge, let me toast to you.”
Fu Hua poured a glass of wine for himself and filled another for Xu Shaochen.
The two clinked glasses and downed their drinks. Fu Hua then bid farewell, “Xu Ge, here’s my number. Let me know if you’re ever here again. For now, I’ll leave you alone.”
Fu Hua handed Xu Shaochen a business card before turning and leaving with Zhang Ji.
Although Fu Hua wanted to get closer to Xu Shaochen, they were not familiar with each other yet. He understood the importance of not rushing things, so leaving a good first impression was enough for today.
If he acted too clingy, it would only annoy Xu Shaochen. It’s important to maintain a proper distance when dealing with people.
After Fu Hua left, Xu Shaochen and the others continued drinking. From time to time, women would ‘accidentally’ brush past Xu Shaochen.
At first, Zhou Fan, Li Qi, and Liu Chao felt a little stiff, but they soon loosened up, each holding a woman in their arms, smiling brightly.
Xu Shaochen had Xie Wei in his arms. She occasionally fed him fruit, and when Xu Shaochen flirted with other women, she pretended not to notice.
Xu Shaochen felt that ever since Jenny’s phone call, he had finally started living like a human being for the first time in twenty years! Before this, it couldn’t even be called living—it was mere survival. Now, this was truly living.
Over an hour later, they left the bar.
Zhou Fan, Li Qi, and Liu Chao said their goodbyes to Xu Shaochen, each with a woman in their arms, eager to head to the nearby hotel.
“Shaochen, I want to be your woman.”
After Liu Chao and the others had left, Xie Wei hugged Xu Shaochen tightly, whispering softly.
“You mean like this?” Xu Shaochen asked with a mischievous smile as he pinched her smooth chin.
Xie Wei’s face flushed, and she answered in a mosquito-like voice, “You’re so bad! You know exactly what I mean.”
“Then what are we waiting for? Get in the car!”
“Wait, let’s stop by the convenience store for some protection.”
“No need for that.”
About ten minutes later, they checked into the nearest hotel, and as soon as they entered the room, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
“Take me,” Xie Wei whispered into Xu Shaochen’s ear, her breath warm and seductive as she clung tightly to him.
With such a tempting invitation, Xu Shaochen naturally didn’t refuse. Tonight would be a sleepless night…
…
At around ten in the evening.
Xu Shaochen looked at the exhausted, sleeping Xie Wei. He dressed quietly, careful not to wake her, and slipped out of the room.
He avoided the security cameras, driving from the old city to the Garden Villa Area, where Liu Hui lived.
As long as Liu Hui was alive, Xu Shaochen couldn’t rest easy.
Villa Number Three in the Garden Villa Area.
Most of the villas were already dark, but Liu Hui’s house was still brightly lit.
Liu Hui sat on the sofa with a frown, muttering to himself, “Damn it, Zhao Qing, that bastard. He was supposed to take care of this at the hospital. Why hasn’t he called yet?”
“You won’t be getting that call.”
A cold voice suddenly echoed through the room, startling Liu Hui so much he nearly jumped.
He looked up.
To his shock, Xu Shaochen was standing in the living room, facing him.
“How… how did you get in here?!” Liu Hui stammered, his face pale as if he had seen a ghost.
Xu Shaochen sneered, “You’d better worry about whether you can keep your life.”
“Arrogant brat! I was planning to kill your mom first, then that little slut surnamed Song, and finally you. But since you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish tonight!”
Liu Hui sneered and grabbed a black handgun from beneath the coffee table, aiming it at Xu Shaochen with a wicked grin.
Xu Shaochen narrowed his eyes. He never expected Liu Hui to have a gun, especially since firearms are so rare in the country.
Although Xu Shaochen had trained in martial arts with his father since childhood and continued practicing even after his father’s death, he didn’t think he was skilled enough to dodge a bullet.
“Kid, you’ve got nothing to say now, huh? Remember what I said earlier? You should be thinking about how you’re going to make it out of here alive!”
Seeing Xu Shaochen remain silent, Liu Hui felt a surge of satisfaction and began to approach Xu Shaochen, circling around the coffee table with the gun pointed at him.
You dare to come here alone, thinking you’re some kind of superhero?
Xu Shaochen stayed silent, his gaze locked on Liu Hui. As long as Liu Hui got a bit closer, he’d have the confidence to take him down.
“Kid, if you know what’s good for you, get down on your knees and kowtow to me! Maybe I’ll let you die in one piece.”
Liu Hui taunted, feeling increasingly arrogant as the distance between them grew smaller.
Suddenly.
Xu Shaochen lunged forward in a flash, kicking Liu Hui’s wrist with a speed that was almost terrifying.
“Crack!”
“Ah!”
With a sickening crunch, Liu Hui’s wrist twisted unnaturally. He screamed in pain, and the gun flew out of his hand.
Xu Shaochen caught the falling gun effortlessly, landed steadily, and pressed the barrel against Liu Hui’s forehead, coldly spitting out four words: “Now, get on your knees.”
