Chapter 25: Time to Reunite You Two

“Thud!”

Feeling the cold barrel of the gun against his forehead, Liu Hui dropped to his knees without a second thought, raising his hands and looking at Xu Shaochen with a pale face. “Please, don’t do anything rash. I beg you, don’t be impulsive.”

Just as Xu Shaochen didn’t expect Liu Hui to own a gun, Liu Hui also hadn’t anticipated Xu Shaochen’s impressive skills.

“If you wanted revenge, you could’ve come for me alone. But to lay a hand on my family? For that, you won’t escape death today.”

“Bang!”

As soon as Xu Shaochen finished speaking, he kicked Liu Hui to the ground, then holstered the handgun at his waist, his gaze cold and menacing as he looked down at Liu Hui.

Liu Hui struggled to his feet, wiping the blood off the corner of his mouth as he stared at Xu Shaochen in terror.

“Honey, what’s going on?!”

A female voice interrupted the tension. A woman in a revealing black camisole dress, tall and with a trace of confusion on her face, appeared at the top of the staircase.

“What are you doing down here? Get back upstairs, now!” Liu Hui’s face changed drastically the moment he saw her.

“Heh, I didn’t notice at the 4S Store, but your wife is quite a looker.” Xu Shaochen’s eyes roamed unabashedly over the woman’s curvy figure.

It was only then that the woman noticed Xu Shaochen. Recalling the slap he gave her at the 4S Store, her face twisted in rage. “It’s you! How dare you come to my house! Honey, call someone over to break his legs!”

In her eyes, breaking Xu Shaochen’s legs was nothing serious—after all, she had killed more than one person before.

Liu Hui’s mistresses were either killed or crippled by her orders—acid attacks, forced abortions, tortured to death. There was nothing she hadn’t done.

For daring to slap her, breaking Xu Shaochen’s legs was the least she could do.

“It’s over.” Liu Hui closed his eyes in despair. His wife was so used to being domineering that she couldn’t even grasp the situation they were in.

Xu Shaochen sneered at Liu Hui. “Your wife is truly one of a kind—a prime idiot.”

“This has nothing to do with her. Whatever you want, take it out on me!” Liu Hui’s face alternated between shades of white and green as he glared at Xu Shaochen, clenching his teeth.

Still oblivious to the danger, the woman hissed, “Honey, hurry up and call someone! Break his legs and sell his sister who works at the 4S Store to South Africa as a slave!”

“What a venomous heart you have, just like a snake.”

Xu Shaochen’s eyes flashed with a cold intent as he looked at the woman. The way she appeared so relaxed revealed that she had certainly done such things many times before.

“Killing one is still murder. Killing two is the same. I might as well send you both on your way to reunite.”

With those words, Xu Shaochen pulled out his handgun and aimed it at the woman.

“What…what are you doing? Help me, honey, save me!”

Seeing the gun pointed at her, the woman’s face turned as pale as a sheet, terror-stricken.

“Bastard! If you dare touch her, I swear I’ll slaughter your entire family, bury your mother alive, and make sure your sister dies a horrible death!”

Liu Hui roared at Xu Shaochen, his eyes bloodshot with impotent rage.

“If you manage to survive, that is.”

Xu Shaochen scoffed, loading his gun, the sound clear and crisp.

“No! Don’t kill me! I’ll do anything you want. You can take me any way you like—front, back, mouth, whatever you desire.” The woman was so terrified that she practically tumbled down the stairs, crawling toward Xu Shaochen like a dog. She smiled seductively as she reached for his belt.

“You slut! What are you doing?! You whore!” Seeing this, Liu Hui’s expression twisted further. He couldn’t believe his wife would do something like this right in front of him.

“Hahaha, Liu Hui, you’ve got yourself quite a wife.” Xu Shaochen started laughing, full of mockery.

“Master, please give me a chance. Don’t kill me. I’ll be your pet. You can do whatever you want with me.”

Liu Hui’s wife, still smiling seductively, rubbed her face against Xu Shaochen’s leg. But deep in her eyes, a venomous glint flickered. If she could survive, she’d make sure Xu Shaochen’s entire family paid.

“Bang!”

A gunshot rang out, cutting off her thoughts. Liu Hui’s wife collapsed to the ground, her eyes wide with shock and deep unwillingness.

“A woman like you… I don’t have the stomach for.”

Xu Shaochen spoke coldly. He had clearly caught the vicious glint in her eyes moments before. A woman like her was a threat left alive.

“Now, it’s your turn, Liu Hui. The road to the underworld is long. Let me send you on your way.”

Xu Shaochen raised his gun and pointed it at Liu Hui.

“Wait! Let me go, and I’ll tell you a secret…” A flash of panic crossed Liu Hui’s face as he quickly spoke up.

“Bang! Bang!”

Two gunshots cut off Liu Hui’s words. His body slowly slumped to the ground, his eyes wide with lingering shock and regret.

“Sorry, I’m not interested in your secrets.”

With a nonchalant demeanor, Xu Shaochen tossed out those final words, cleaned up the scene, retrieved the surveillance memory card, and jumped out of the window to leave.

For safety reasons, he parked his car far away from the villa area to avoid being caught on any surveillance cameras.

When he returned to the hotel, Xie Wei was still asleep, so Xu Shaochen pounced on her like a hungry tiger.

It was his first time killing someone. Though he appeared calm on the outside, his inner turmoil was immense, and he needed an outlet for his discomfort.

“Ah, stop messing around. I’m so tired, husband.”

The night passed without sleep. Another round of passionate singing echoed through the room.

The next day.

When Xu Shaochen woke up, he found Xie Wei already awake.

“You’re up. I’ll go buy us breakfast.”

Xie Wei said as she looked at him, her face flushed before she tried to get up.

“It’s okay, just call room service! Oh, and call your school to get yourself excused for today.”

Xu Shaochen grabbed hold of Xie Wei. No matter how ruthless he could be, he wasn’t heartless enough to let her go buy breakfast after having just taken her virginity.

“Pfft… It’s Saturday today.”

Xie Wei chuckled at his words. No longer just a girl, a trace of feminine charm appeared between her brows. Her disheveled hair only added to the lazy beauty she radiated, like a cat stretching after waking up.

“Is it? I guess I forgot.”

Xu Shaochen was momentarily stunned. The events of the previous night had left his mind a bit scattered.

“I’m going to take a shower.”

With a bit of coquettishness, Xie Wei glared playfully at Xu Shaochen before gently getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

Watching her nude figure disappear, Xu Shaochen smiled. This life was truly satisfying.

“Aren’t you going to take a shower too? Or should I wash you?”

Xie Wei walked out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe and her bare feet. She looked at Xu Shaochen and asked.

“No need, I’ll wash up later. Let’s have breakfast first. After that, I’ll take you back to school. Make sure to rest well today and absolutely no strenuous activities.”

Xu Shaochen cautioned Xie Wei, his tone playful as his eyes gleamed with a teasing glint.

“You’re so bad. This is all your fault.” Xie Wei pouted, blushing, as she scolded him softly. Experiencing something like that for the first time was enough to make anyone shy.

“Hahaha…”

Seeing her reaction, Xu Shaochen burst into laughter. In truth, Xie Wei was quite the beauty in every sense—a vase of finely crafted porcelain.

After finishing breakfast with her, Xu Shaochen drove Xie Wei back to her school dormitory to rest.
