“Two stupid dogs.”

Xu Shaochen sneered at the two of them without any courtesy.

Jiang Siyu and Li Yang’s faces darkened immediately.

“What did you say? Say it again if you dare!” Jiang Siyu gritted her teeth as she glared at Xu Shaochen. She never expected this spineless loser, who had always been so submissive to her, to dare insult her. It was simply outrageous.

Xu Shaochen flashed a mocking smile: “Since you like to hear it so much, I’ll oblige. Two stupid dogs. Does that sound nice?”

“Do you even know what you’re doing? We’re here today to buy a house. Just a small commission would be more than enough to cover what you could earn in months. Instead of kissing up to us, you dare insult me? Are you out of your mind?”

Jiang Siyu felt incredulous. Didn’t Xu Shaochen care about his mother’s surgery costs anymore?

“Exactly. With your attitude, do you think we won’t complain and get you fired?” Li Yang sneered, looking at Xu Shaochen with arrogance.

“You still deny being stupid? When did I ever say I work here? Can’t I be here to buy a house?”

Xu Shaochen looked at the two of them as if he were staring at a pair of idiots. To speak bluntly, in his eyes, these two dogs were just a couple of losers.

“Hahaha, this is hilarious! Siyu, did you hear that? He said he’s here to buy a house! Hahaha, is he trying to kill us with laughter?”

Li Yang burst into exaggerated laughter, so hard that he teared up, as if he had just heard the funniest joke ever.

He had learned about Xu Shaochen’s situation from Jiang Siyu. This guy was nothing more than a complete loser. And he’s here to buy a house? Does he think he’s shopping for cabbages?

“Xu Shaochen, did the mental strain from the blow you took at the wedding mess with your head? Buying a house? Someone like you could never afford a house here in your entire life!”

Jiang Siyu taunted him without hesitation. She was convinced Xu Shaochen must have lost his mind. Otherwise, why would he be acting so strange today and spouting such nonsense?

Meanwhile, the other people in the sales office were watching the drama unfold, staying silent since they didn’t know the backstory between these three.

But from what they gathered from Jiang Siyu, it seemed Xu Shaochen was just a loser. Wasn’t it a joke for such a person to buy a house here? The other salespeople couldn’t help but shake their heads, feeling sorry for the colleague who had just served Xu Shaochen. It was obvious they had been played!

“If you can actually afford a house, I’ll take your family name!” Jiang Siyu scoffed at Xu Shaochen in complete disbelief.

Xu Shaochen shook his head: “Nah, better not. A vile woman like you shouldn’t insult my family name.”

“You… Humph. Let’s see how you get out of this one.” Jiang Siyu was fuming with anger, letting out a cold snort as she waited to see Xu Shaochen make a fool of himself.

Soon, the saleswoman who had helped Xu Shaochen earlier came rushing back with the contract. Her fair forehead was even glistening with sweat, clearly from hurrying.

“Mr. Xu, here’s the contract. Please take a look…” The saleswoman looked at Xu Shaochen with an eager expression.

Xu Shaochen pulled out his bank card and said calmly, “Swipe the card.”

“Ah? Oh, okay.” The saleswoman, still not used to Xu Shaochen’s crisp efficiency, quickly took the bank card.

Jiang Siyu and Li Yang were both sneering as they watched this unfold. Putting on an act, huh? Even if you’re quite the actor, how will you get off the stage in a moment?

Xu Shaochen patted the contract in his hands and said to Jiang Siyu disdainfully while coolly showing off.

“You…” Li Yang was infuriated at the sight of that smug face but couldn’t find any words to refute him.

By now, everyone else had mentally checked out. Thirteen million was pocket change to this guy. This must be what they call a battle among gods.

The spectators all winced. This guy really knew how to hit where it hurt!

Li Yang’s fury skyrocketed instantly. He glared at Xu Shaochen, grinding his teeth as he shouted, “You brat! You’re dead meat!”
