Chapter 29: Pure and Proud Liu Rushuang

“Sister Rushuang, if I’d known you were the Sales Office manager earlier, I would’ve come to you. Maybe I could’ve gotten a better discount.”

After getting in the car, Xu Shaochen looked at Liu Rushuang, showing a regretful expression.

Liu Rushuang looked about 70% similar to her older sister, but their temperaments were vastly different. While Liu Ruxu was a mature and charming woman, Liu Rushuang was a pure and lively young lady.

Of course, calling someone a ‘young lady’ at twenty-six might be a stretch, but that’s basically what she was.

“You bought a house worth over ten million and drive a car worth more than a million, and you still care about a small discount?”

Liu Rushuang rolled her eyes. She didn’t believe Xu Shaochen’s words one bit. Men lie, and she was sure that’s how he managed to get her sister into bed.

She had no idea that it was her sister Liu Ruxu who had seduced Xu Shaochen from the start, and that’s how the two had gotten together.

“Sister Rushuang, you misunderstand. Liu and I are just ordinary friends who help each other out as adults.” Xu Shaochen said this with a serious expression, determined not to let her think that he and her sister were in a relationship. Otherwise, his chances with her would significantly decrease!

“So, Sister Rushuang, do you know anything about starting a company?” As silence filled the car, Xu Shaochen quickly changed the topic.

Xu Shaochen had already decided on this long ago. People need food, clothing, shelter, and transportation. He planned to start with food: “I’ll start a restaurant business.”

The internet was too intangible. He couldn’t grasp it yet. Physical businesses would be a more stable start.

As they chatted, they arrived at Nanshan Villa. After confirming their identity, the guard let them in.

“Here we are, Villa Number 7.”

They got out of the car in front of Villa Number 7, and Liu Rushuang led Xu Shaochen inside.

The villa was huge, with a garage and a pool in the back. The front yard was filled with flowers and plants. A house like this was something Xu Shaochen never even dreamed of owning.

But now, it was truly his, making his heart race with excitement.

“Ah!”

Suddenly, Liu Rushuang screamed. Her high heel slipped, and she fell directly into the pool.

“Glug glug… Help! I can’t swim.”

At first, Xu Shaochen just found it funny, but when he realized Liu Rushuang really couldn’t swim, he quickly jumped in.

“Sister Rushuang!”

Xu Shaochen grabbed Liu Rushuang and pulled her out of the water. She was already semi-conscious.

To save her, Xu Shaochen decisively performed CPR and artificial respiration.

“No way! Go buy me new clothes. Don’t even think about taking advantage of me!”

Liu Rushuang glared at Xu Shaochen with vigilance.

Xu Shaochen shrugged and could only leave the backyard to drive and buy clothes. He needed a change too.

Once Xu Shaochen left, Liu Rushuang took off her outerwear and headed into the living room. Luckily, it was summer. Otherwise, she might’ve caught a cold.

Over twenty minutes later, Xu Shaochen had changed into clean clothes and handed a set to Liu Rushuang.

Liu Rushuang grabbed the bags and hurriedly went into the bathroom.

When she saw the thin black stockings inside the bag, she had a sudden urge to run out and kill Xu Shaochen.

This bastard. He did it on purpose. Definitely picked these to mess with me.

Fuming, Liu Rushuang gritted her teeth but had no choice but to wear them. She felt utterly humiliated—this was the first time she’d worn something so revealing.

Moments later, Liu Rushuang walked out of the bathroom in a huff, making Xu Shaochen’s eyes light up.

Now, Liu Rushuang finally had a touch of sexiness to her.

“What are you staring at, you jerk? Haven’t you seen anything like this before?”

Liu Rushuang angrily glared at him, but deep down, she felt a bit smug. ‘This lady is naturally beautiful. I’ll blind your dog eyes no matter what I wear.’

“I’ve seen, but never someone as beautiful as you, Sister Rushuang.”

Xu Shaochen flattered her with a small compliment.

Liu Rushuang snorted and said, “Little bastard, after taking so much advantage of me, you have to treat me to dinner.”

“With pleasure. I’ve already booked a restaurant,” Xu Shaochen replied with a grin.

Liu Rushuang pouted. She suspected he might’ve also booked a hotel for the night. Definitely had ulterior motives.
