Chapter Index

    The onlookers were stunned.

They hadn’t expected Xu Shaochen to take action so suddenly—so clean and efficient, it was terrifying.

After all, that was Han Feng! Young Master Han, whose family had assets worth billions.

But then they remembered how Xu Shaochen had summoned a helicopter with just one phone call, and they understood. Xu Shaochen was probably even more formidable than Han Feng.

“How dare you hit me? You’re asking for death!”

Struggling to get off the ground, Han Feng glared at Xu Shaochen with bloodshot eyes and screamed hysterically.

He had actually been kicked to the ground like a dog, utterly humiliating!

“A bet is a bet. If you run a lap naked today, I’ll let you go. If not, you might as well call 911 now, or you won’t even have time to be rescued.”

Xu Shaochen said with a casual tone, as if beating a small-time rich brat was no big deal to him.

In the past, Xu Shaochen had to endure everything because he had no money. But now that he was rich, why would he hold back? He wanted to be arrogant, domineering, and do as he pleased!

    Hiss—

Everyone sucked in a cold breath at his words. The only words in their minds were: Arrogant. Unbelievable.

They had a feeling that Xu Shaochen was serious—he was really capable of following through.

Han Feng obviously felt the same way. He was stuck, unable to advance or retreat, his heart filled with regret.

He had never imagined he would lose when he made the bet, but now he was riding a tiger and couldn’t dismount.

“Your time isn’t worth much, but I don’t have time to waste with you. I’ll count to three.” Xu Shaochen said, raising three fingers.

    “One.”

Cold sweat beaded on Han Feng’s forehead as he stared fixedly at Xu Shaochen.

    “Two.”

Han Feng’s body began to tremble, fear welling up inside him. His breathing grew heavy and ragged.

    “I’ll strip! I’ll strip!”

Just as Xu Shaochen’s third finger was about to drop, Han Feng finally broke under the pressure and shouted the words.

“Good. You told me something earlier, so I’ll give it back to you—You have a keen sense of self-awareness.” Xu Shaochen walked up, still holding Xie Wei, and patted Han Feng’s face with a smile, then wiped his hand on Han Feng’s clothes.

Han Feng slowly began to strip, his eyes filled with poisonous hatred. When had Han Feng ever suffered such a deep humiliation? A real man can yield or stand tall. He swore that one day, he would make Xu Shaochen pay for this.

At this point, Han Feng had completely forgotten that he initiated the conflict with Xu Shaochen in the first place.

If he hadn’t provoked Xu Shaochen, how could he have ended up like this?

    “Ah! I’m needle-phobic!”

Just as Han Feng stripped down to his underwear, a woman in the crowd suddenly blushed and shouted before fainting.

At first, everyone was confused, but then they followed her line of sight and couldn’t help bursting into laughter.

“Haha! Damn, I’ve finally found something I’m better at than Young Master Han!”

“Who would’ve thought? Even someone as perfect as Young Master Han has shortcomings. And it’s not just short, it’s really thin too.”

Han Feng’s face turned ashen. He quickly covered his ‘needle’ and ran as fast as he could to get this ordeal over with.

    “Let’s go.”

Xu Shaochen looked at Xie Wei in his arms and said.

    “Mm.”

Xie Wei nodded softly, and the two turned and left.

Meanwhile, Han Feng, still running on the track, glared at their backs with eyes burning with hatred and rage.

“You damn couple, mark my words! One day, I’ll make sure you both pay in blood!”

Xu Shaochen had no idea about Han Feng’s wrath.

Even if he knew, he wouldn’t care. Would a lion worry about an ant’s hatred? Xu Shaochen had already driven off with Xie Wei by then.

“Shaochen, thank you. I was really moved today.” Xie Wei said, eyes misty as she looked at Xu Shaochen from the passenger seat.

Xu Shaochen glanced at Xie Wei, whose tight pants accentuated her long, shapely legs. With a mischievous chuckle, he leaned over and whispered something in her ear.

“You’re terrible! But then… we should go somewhere with fewer people.” Xie Wei’s face turned beet red, and she lowered her head, her voice as soft as a mosquito’s buzz.

Xu Shaochen laughed heartily, then started the car and drove towards the Old City. He parked on a deserted street.

“Here… there won’t be… anyone, right? Maybe we should go to a hotel instead. You can do whatever you want there. Here, if we get… caught, it’ll be so embarrassing.”

Xie Wei stammered, appearing flustered while clutching her short sleeve tightly.

“Don’t worry, no one will be here. And even if there is, so what? They don’t know us. What’s there to be scared of? Be good, move your hand.”

Xu Shaochen coaxed her as he reclined the seat…

Moments later, passersby outside noticed the black Mercedes shaking back and forth, with faint, indescribable sounds occasionally escaping from within.

The Mercedes shook for over half an hour before it finally stopped.

“You’re awful! Insisting on doing it in the car.”

Xie Wei tidied herself up, her cheeks flushed, and cast a playful, reproachful glance at Xu Shaochen.

“Don’t you think it was thrilling?” Xu Shaochen, feeling refreshed, grinned at the thought of trying other locations in the future.

Xie Wei rolled her eyes coquettishly, “Thrilling? I was scared out of my wits the whole time!”

“Alright, where do you want to go?” Xu Shaochen changed the subject, then opened the window to let the air clear out.

Xie Wei tied her hair back and, after a moment of thought, said, “Let’s go to the amusement park. I haven’t been there in a long time.”

Xu Shaochen found amusement parks boring since he had never been to one before, but since Xie Wei wanted to go, he didn’t refuse.

They arrived at the amusement park, bought tickets, and went inside.

“The carousel! Let’s ride the carousel first!” Xie Wei exclaimed, pulling Xu Shaochen along, smiling brightly.

Xu Shaochen glanced at the carousel with disdain and said, “How childish. This is for kids, what’s the point? I could stand here all day, and I wouldn’t play something so childish.”

    Fifteen minutes later…

“Wow, this is actually pretty fun! Weiwei, let’s ride it again later. It’s just a bit dizzying after a while, though.”

Xu Shaochen sat on a horse with a bright smile on his face. Ah—what a pleasant surprise.

He realized, for the first time, that this seemingly childish ride was actually quite enjoyable.

Xie Wei was speechless, her mouth twitching. You’ve already played it twice, no wonder you feel dizzy!

She had a hard time getting Xu Shaochen on the ride, but now he refused to get off and insisted on dragging her along to play again.
