“Mr. Liu, what do you mean by that?” Zhao Dahe’s expression showed confusion, though inside he felt a jolt of fear.

Did this guy find out what I did? But what’s the point of him being here?

Mr. Liu shot him a mocking look, “Keep pretending. Come with me, someone wants to see you.”

“Who?” Zhao Dahe asked.

“You’ll see when you get there. If you don’t go, you’ll regret it.”

Mr. Liu left these words before turning around and leaving the office. Zhao Dahe’s face darkened as he followed him with gritted teeth.

He had no choice. Mr. Liu’s last words wouldn’t let him rest easy unless he went.

Besides, he was curious to know just how bad the situation had gotten. As the mastermind, he couldn’t see things clearly anymore.

Soon, Zhao Dahe was led by Mr. Liu into Xu Shaochen’s room.

The sight of bodyguards filling the room and Zhao Ergou kneeling on the floor, face beaten black and blue, instantly made Zhao Dahe’s face turn pale.
