Chapter Index

Fifteen minutes away from Repulse Bay Villa Area, Xu Shaochen told Long Yi to stop the car.

He had just received a call—Long San and Long Si, along with other bodyguards, had blocked the retreat of their pursuers.

He was ready to get out and have a chat about life and the care of sows after childbirth.

After parking the car, Xu Shaochen opened the door and stepped out, smiling as he looked at the BMWs that had been tailing him.

    “Young Master, they’ve stopped.”

Inside the lead BMW, the driver instinctively slowed down.

“Stop. Everyone get out. Surround him.”

Han Chen, seated in the back, touched the corner of his mouth, where it had been split earlier in the café. A flash of violent rage crossed his eyes as he exited the car first.

It was the first time he had ever been beaten so badly. He vowed to make that damned Longguo man suffer ten or even a hundred times more.

Immediately after, the doors of the other two cars behind him opened as well, and several burly men in suits stepped out.

Han Chen sneered as he led his men closer to Xu Shaochen and said in broken Chinese, “Kid, you didn’t expect this, did you? If you kneel and beg for mercy now, I might consider sparing you. Otherwise, today you won’t escape your fate.”

“Oh? You even know how to use idioms? Impressive, impressive. May I boldly ask, are you a Japanese pig or a Stick Nation dog?”

Xu Shaochen exaggerated his expression, gave a thumbs up, and asked curiously.

“How dare you insult our noble Stick Nation bloodline, you damned Longguo monkey! You’re courting death!”

Everyone behind Han Chen had a look of rage on their faces, as if they could rush forward to beat up Xu Shaochen at any moment.

Xu Shaochen curled his lips in disdain, “Stick people, do you know that I hate you self-righteous Stick people even more than the arrogant islanders?”

Although he also disliked Japanese people, at least they were the only developed country in Asia. They had real substance.

But what is a Stick Nation? Besides being self-centered, what else do they have? Always claiming to be the number one power in Asia.

If boasting were a crime, the Stick Nation would be sentenced to death.

“Kid, maybe you don’t understand the situation. You’re three people. Where do you get the courage to be so arrogant in front of us?”

Han Chen was so angry he almost exploded. Not only did that damned Longguo man not tremble and beg for mercy, but he also dared to insult him so arrogantly. It was simply outrageous.

Xu Shaochen heard this and revealed an amused smile, “Are you saying that you’re bullying us because you have numbers on your side?”

“So what? Yes, we’re bullying you because we have more people,” Han Chen replied arrogantly.

Xu Shaochen nodded, his smile growing even brighter, “Then turn around and take a look. You’re in for a surprise.”

Han Chen shot Xu Shaochen a suspicious glance, then slowly turned around. His face immediately turned pale.

The bodyguards around him quickly gathered together, placing Han Chen in the safest position in the center.

Behind them, at some point, four vehicles had arrived. From them, over ten more burly men in suits got out.

Han Taiyu’s face turned white. Just seconds ago, they were relying on their numbers to bully the weak. Who could’ve expected that reality would so quickly humble them?

“Young Master… I will suddenly attack and hold off that Longguo man. You must take this chance to escape.”

The driver who had brought Han Taiyu here whispered urgently.

Han Taiyu nodded, “Alright, don’t worry. I’ll take care of you and your family.”

He trusted his driver’s combat skills—after all, he was an authentic Taekwondo black belt.

The driver’s face became solemn as he suddenly charged at Xu Shaochen like a leopard.

He thought, there are so many people here, Xu Shaochen must be the weakest among them. Otherwise, why would he need so many bodyguards?

Seeing the driver rushing at him, Xu Shaochen executed a mid-air spinning kick.

    “Bang!”

    “Ah! Ugh—”

His kick landed squarely on the driver’s chest. The driver let out a scream, spitting a mouthful of blood as his body flew backward several meters before crashing hard onto the ground.

    Han Chen: “…”

The muscles that had tensed up in preparation to flee immediately froze in place, as if a herd of wild horses rampaged through his mind.

So, this was your plan to hold off the Longguo man? Well, you managed to buy me one second, but I didn’t even have time to run.

    “Trash.”

Looking at the driver in the distance, Xu Shaochen spat out in disdain, before turning to Han Chen and calmly saying, “How about you come to my place for a visit? Maybe have some tea? I do welcome international friends, so don’t make me invite you personally.”

“N-No need. I… I’m not really a tea person,” Han Chen stuttered, his voice trembling, as he forced a smile.

Xu Shaochen’s smile didn’t reach his eyes, “Refusing me? That’s quite disrespectful. You should imagine what kind of consequences come from disrespecting me.”

“Actually, I… I’d like to try the tea from Hong Kong,” Han Chen relented.

No, retreating strategically isn’t being cowardly. That’s not what a learned person does.

Soon, the convoy resumed its journey toward Repulse Bay Villa.

To ensure the safety of these international guests, Xu Shaochen thoughtfully arranged for his bodyguards to provide one-on-one personal protection.

And to prevent them from wandering off and getting lost, Xu Shaochen even had his bodyguards hold guns to their heads in the cars.

Ah, what such thoughtfulness. Such warm hospitality.

When they arrived at the villa,

Xu Shaochen only brought Han Chen into the living room.

As for the others, to prevent them from trampling on the flowers and plants in the yard, Xu Shaochen had them tied up with tape.

    In the living room,

Xu Shaochen sat on the sofa, with Long Yi and Long Er standing behind him, while Long San and Long Si guarded the door.

Han Chen stood there, trembling, his face pale, sweat beading on his forehead.

“Have a seat. No need to be so polite.”

Xu Shaochen patted the sofa beside him.

Han Chen quickly shook his head, “N-No need. Standing is fine. Standing helps circulation.”

“What is your name? Where are you from?” Xu Shaochen asked.

“Han Chen, from Seoul, Stick Nation.”

“Han Chen? That’s a good name.” Xu Shaochen nodded. “It implies that your great Asian power, Stick Nation, will sink eventually. It seems your father is a scholar.”

Han Chen forced a slight smile.

“What’s wrong? Did I say something false?” Xu Shaochen raised an eyebrow and placed a handgun on the coffee table.

Han Chen shivered, “No, no, everything you said is true.”

“You tried to flirt with my girl in front of me and got beaten up. You deserved it, didn’t you?”

“I deserved it. I deserved the beating,” Han Chen quickly agreed.

“But you still wanted to take revenge later, and now it seems you’ve fallen into my hands. Tell me, how should we resolve this?” Xu Shaochen asked.
