“Where’s the money?”

Gunshots echoed across the sea, which was quickly swallowed by the darkness. A few minutes later, the deserted dock returned to its usual silence.

A few minutes later, three speedboats broke through the waves and docked. Two men got off one of the boats.

Each man carried two boxes filled with the cash and diamonds Lan Cheng had given Tan Chen.

“Let’s go. We can report back to the young master now.”

The vehicle drove away, and the speedboats followed, leaving the deserted dock as silent as ever.
