Chapter 564: Mr. Xu’s Generosity

After Xu Shaochen left the Hotel, he didn’t return to Feiyun Villa.

Instead, he stopped by a flower shop and bought a bouquet of Roses before heading home.

He ordered a whole Car’s worth of flowers from the shop, but they didn’t have that many in stock. They needed time to get more.

So Xu Shaochen told Long Yi to stay there and help the shop owner bring the flowers back.

When he got home, Xu Shaochen found a group of People sitting upright in the living room, waiting.

The group was led by Ye Changfei, all of them former members of Lan Cheng’s small Alliance.

“Yes, yes, Director Zhao is right. We were misled by Lan Cheng earlier and caused you some minor troubles. But you’re magnanimous and didn’t hold it against us. We’re deeply grateful.”

“Indeed, Mr. Xu. If you tell us to go east, we won’t go west. We’ll follow your every command.”

Long Yi explained: “It was just some auxiliary officers, the kind who are just killing time. They made up some random excuse to confiscate the flowers and demand a fine to get them back.”

Xu Shaochen understood immediately. They planned to take the flowers for themselves.

If nothing went wrong, they would likely find a lot fewer flowers when they tried to retrieve them after paying the fine.

“Bold, aren’t they? Check which station it was. I want every single flower delivered back to me.”

Xu Shaochen said coldly, then looked at Ye Changfei and the others: “Gentlemen, let’s end here for now. I won’t see you out, so please take care.”

“Mr. Xu, then we’ll take our leave. If anything comes up, just say the word,” Ye Changfei and the others said as they briskly left Bamboo Garden.
