“Mr. Xu, Chairman Sun, I’ll be taking my leave for now. Let’s meet again if fate allows.”

Chen Sheng said to Sun Hai and Xu Shaochen before getting into his car and driving away.

“That Mr. Chen is quite the romantic.”

Watching Chen Sheng’s car disappear, Xu Shaochen smiled and spoke to Sun Hai who was standing beside him.

Sun Hai shook his head upon hearing this. “He’s been with his wife for so many years. Even if there’s no love, there’s still affection. It’s perfectly normal.”

“Brother Hai, thank you for helping with the house.” Xu Shaochen pulled out a cigarette and handed it to Sun Hai.

Sun Hai casually accepted it, teasingly saying, “Young people like you are full of vigor. When I was your age, I couldn’t compare to you. Now that I’m older, I’m losing my edge in dealing with women.”

Sun Hai was well aware of how many women Xu Shaochen had around him.

Why else would he buy such a big house? Clearly, the old one was too small to accommodate so many people.

“Brother Hai, you’re joking. Another day, I’ll have a chat with the madams about what you just said.” Xu Shaochen joked back.

After exchanging a few more words, Sun Hai eventually left.

Xu Tian’ci then walked into the Hotel lobby and sat down on the sofa, calling the women at home and asking them to come to the Hua’e Mountain Hotel.

“Long Yi.”

Xu Tian’ci called out toward the hotel entrance.

“Boss.”

Long Yi quickly ran inside.

“You haven’t had a meal yet, right? Arrange for the lackeys to eat first. I’ll settle the bill later.”

Xu Shaochen said as he looked at Long Yi.

“Yes, Boss.”

Long Yi nodded and then walked out of the Hotel.

A moment later, Long Yi, Long Er, and four other bodyguards asked the receptionist to book a private room for them to go upstairs and eat.

Xu Shaochen sat on the sofa playing with his phone.

“Baby, how about not going home tonight?”

“Ah, that’s not possible. My boyfriend would get suspicious. He’s calling me now, don’t say a word.”

“Hey, honey, I’m out shopping with my girlfriends. Yeah, love you. Mwah~”

At that moment, a conversation drifted into Xu Shaochen’s ears.

Xu Shaochen looked up and saw a man and a woman stepping out of the elevator.

The woman looked about twenty, while the man appeared to be in his forties. They were clinging to each other, with the man’s hand resting on the woman’s tight skirt. Meanwhile, she was on the phone with her boyfriend.

It was painfully obvious that the woman had already metaphorically turned her boyfriend’s head green.

At that thought, a faint smirk of ridicule appeared on Xu Shaochen’s face.

He was clearly mocking the woman.

Just moments ago, she’d been with another man in a room. Now, she was leaning into another man’s arms, telling her boyfriend, ‘I love you.’ How absurd.

“What are you staring at? Haven’t you ever seen a woman before? Keep staring, and I’ll gouge your eyes out!”

Women’s sixth sense is usually very sharp.

The woman had noticed the faint trace of ridicule at the corner of Xu Shaochen’s mouth the moment she hung up her boyfriend’s call.

Her face immediately darkened, and she pointed at Xu Shaochen while scornfully yelling at him.

“Heh, I’ve seen plenty of women, but it’s rare to see one as cheap as you.”

Xu Shaochen let out a light chuckle, calmly sizing up the woman as he spoke, not bothering to hide his disdain and scorn.

“Sugar Daddy, he’s bullying me!”

The woman glared fiercely at Xu Shaochen before clutching the man’s arm and acting coquettishly.

“Alright, alright, don’t be mad, baby. Sugar Daddy will stand up for you.”

The middle-aged man’s bones practically melted the moment the woman acted spoiled. He comforted her while giving Xu Shaochen a condescending glance and said: “Young man, don’t blame women for your own failures. You’re just jealous of me. But I love watching guys like you seethe with jealousy and rage, yet are powerless to do anything about it.”

“Me, jealous of you? Please. Even if someone like her were given to me, I wouldn’t want her. Only a man like you could stomach that.”

Xu Shaochen nearly burst out laughing. Why would I, with beautiful women surrounding me, ever be jealous of someone like you?

“Heh, for someone so young, you sure talk big. Apologize to my goddaughter, and we can let this go. Otherwise, things might get difficult for you today.”

The middle-aged man snickered and curled his finger at Xu Shaochen, then pointed at the ground.

He clearly meant for Xu Shaochen to crawl over and kneel before the woman to apologize.

“What are you standing there for? Didn’t you hear what my Sugar Daddy said? Hurry up and crawl over to apologize to me, you worthless bastard with no father to raise you!”

The woman clung to the middle-aged man’s arm, glaring viciously at Xu Shaochen, her voice filled with malice.

Xu Shaochen’s expression suddenly turned cold. He stood up and began walking toward the woman.

“What are you going to do? You dare hit me? Go ahead, hit me if you can!”

Despite seeing Xu Shaochen approach, the woman wasn’t afraid. Instead, she provoked him by stepping forward.

The middle-aged man lit a cigarette, holding it between his lips as he watched with a smirk, not taking a young man like Xu Shaochen seriously.

“Smack!”

Xu Shaochen raised his hand and slapped the woman across the face, saying calmly, “Did you forget to brush your teeth after having chicken earlier? Your mouth is filthy. I’m helping you remember to speak politely to others next time.”

“Y-you dared to hit me?”

Feeling the burning pain on her cheek, the woman was stunned for a moment before bursting into a furious rage.

“Sugar Daddy, this bastard actually hit me! He made my face swell! You have to stand up for me!”

The woman cried as she flung herself into the middle-aged man’s arms, glaring venomously at Xu Shaochen as though her anger was about to materialize into something tangible.

“Damn it! You ungrateful bastard, are you looking to die? Do you think I can’t just make one call and have you dead without even knowing how it happened?!”

The middle-aged man was also furious as he jabbed his finger at Xu Shaochen’s nose, cursing at him. He hadn’t expected Xu Shaochen to actually dare to lay a hand on his woman.

The receptionist, seeing the situation escalate, was too frightened to intervene so they hurriedly called their boss.

“Thump!”

Xu Shaochen, expressionless, lifted his foot and kicked.

“Argh!”

The middle-aged man cried out, clutching his stomach and squatting on the ground, his face contorted in pain, sweat drenching his forehead.

“I’m curious to see how you’ll make me die.” Xu Shaochen looked down at the middle-aged man, his tone icy.

“S-sugar Daddy, Sugar Daddy! Are you okay?”

The woman, terrified by the sight, hurriedly helped the middle-aged man up and screeched at Xu Shaochen: “How dare you hit my Sugar Daddy! You’re dead! Do you have any idea who my Sugar Daddy is?!”

“Smack!”

Xu Shaochen flipped his hand and slapped her again. “Didn’t I tell you your mouth stinks? Better keep it shut. Don’t you understand?”

The woman, holding her swollen cheek, looked at Xu Shaochen with both anger and fear in her eyes, but she was too afraid to say another word.
