Chapter Index

    In an instant.

All eyes were on Xu Shaochen.

Sun Shang’s expression changed the moment he saw Xu Shaochen.

He didn’t expect that those three unlucky guys on the ground were actually connected to Xu Shaochen.

It seemed like things were about to get complicated.

“Who the hell are you?! You think you can just take them away? That would make me lose face!”

The young man leading the group sneered at Xu Shaochen with a defiant look.

All the people in the hallway were looking at him like he was an idiot.

Whether it’s a dragon crossing the river or a tiger descending the mountain, when they come to Jiangzhou, they all have to bow before Xu Shaochen. And this guy dares to provoke Xu Shaochen? Isn’t that just seeking death?

“Oh, really? Then how do you suggest I take them away?”

Xu Shaochen’s smile didn’t reach his eyes, and everyone felt like the hallway’s temperature dropped a few degrees.

    “I…”

Just as the young man was about to speak, Sun Shang grabbed him quickly and whispered in his ear, “Young Master Ma, calm down. This guy is kind of a big deal.”

“Kind of a big deal?” Ma Cheng scoffed as if he’d heard a joke, looking at Xu Shaochen dismissively. “No matter how big a deal he is, in front of me, he still has to kneel to speak.”

He then paused, cocked his head, and looked at Xu Shaochen with a mocking gaze.

“You want to take those three… No, it’s four now. If you want to take them, fine. Just crawl through my legs.”

As soon as he finished, Ma Cheng spread his legs and beckoned to Xu Shaochen with his finger.

“Hahaha! Kid, didn’t you hear what Young Master Ma said? He’s giving you a chance. Hurry up and crawl!”

“Yeah, kid! What are you standing there for? Don’t you understand human language? Crawl!”

The guys near Ma Cheng laughed out loud, throwing insults at Xu Shaochen.

Only Sun Shang was drenched in cold sweat. He knew that Ma Cheng and his group had really messed with the wrong person.

Xu Shaochen didn’t even care about the big families in Jingcheng. Do you think he’ll care about you, the Third Young Master of the Ma Family in Macau?

Realizing this, Sun Shang wisely took a step back, distancing himself from Ma Cheng and the others.

Sun Shang might have a simple mind, but that didn’t mean he was stupid. He didn’t want to cause his father any trouble.

Xu Shaochen’s gaze was indifferent as he stared at Ma Cheng, as if he were looking at a dead man.

“Kid! Why are you staring at me like that? Get down and crawl! As long as you crawl under me, I’ll let you take them away.”

Ma Cheng relished in the feeling of humiliating others as he taunted Xu Shaochen.

    “Screw you!”

Mei Liangxin and Zhao Qing were furious, almost charging at Ma Cheng without hesitation.

But Xu Shaochen quickly stopped them.

Seeing this, Ma Cheng smiled smugly. “Smart move, kid. Do you know what would happen if those two laid a hand on me?”

“Why hold back? Whether he’s a dragon or a tiger, he can’t do whatever he wants in Jiangzhou!”

Mei Liangxin fumed, clearly frustrated that Xu Shaochen had stopped him.

“Exactly, Mr. Xu, stand aside! You said it right; I might have lost some courage, but today I’ll show this brat that whether I’m in a suit or not, I can pick up a knife and fight!”

Zhao Qing, now fiery with indignation, especially after just drinking, was even more agitated.

“You’re regressing more and more. Courage is not the same as being a thug. Once you’ve put on a suit, don’t take it off. Fighting with this kind of person lowers our status.”

Xu Shaochen said, looking at Zhao Qing with a blank expression.

Zhao Qing awkwardly shut his mouth, not daring to say another word.

Ma Cheng’s expression turned dark, his voice low and full of malice as he spat, “Say what you just said again if you’ve got the guts!”

Xu Shaochen smiled slightly and ignored him, pulling out his Phone to call Long Yi downstairs: “Bring some men to the fourth floor.”

After hanging up, he casually said, “Could someone help me bring a chair over? My legs are getting a little sore from standing.”

As soon as those words were spoken, the group of well-dressed businessmen in the hallway immediately rushed into the nearest room.

After a brief scuffle, a middle-aged man in his forties—who had traded his broken glasses for the chair—placed it behind Xu Shaochen.

After setting it down, he wiped it with his sleeve and respectfully flashed a flattering smile.

“Mr. Xu, please have a seat.”

    “Thank you.”

Xu Shaochen gave a faint smile, took out a business Card, and handed it to him.

“Thank you, Mr. Xu! This is the least I could do.”

The middle-aged man was overjoyed as he received the Card.

Those who had been slower eyed the scene with envy, jealousy, and hate.

    “Show-off!”

Ma Cheng sneered. Though he was starting to feel uneasy, he bolstered himself by thinking of his status as the Third Young Master of the Ma Family.

    “Thud, thud, thud…”

The elevator doors opened, and Long Yi led a group of bodyguards out.

    “Boss.”

“Those four over there. I don’t want to see them standing in five minutes.”

Xu Shaochen pointed to Ma Cheng, his tone calm.

    “Understood, Boss.”

Long Yi nodded and waved his hand, and the bodyguards rushed forward in an instant.

Ma Cheng and the others had no chance to resist and were pinned to the ground.

“What do you think you’re doing? Let go of me! Bastards! Do you know who I am?!”

“Let go of me! I’ll make sure everyone in Macau hears about this!”

    “Let go…!”

The four of them struggled and cursed nonstop.

“Hold their right legs straight for me.”

Long Yi said emotionlessly, pulling out a handgun from his coat as he walked over.

“What are you doing?! Don’t come any closer! I’m the Third Young Master of the Ma Family in Macau! If you dare touch me, my father won’t let you off!”

Seeing this, Ma Cheng finally panicked. His face turned deathly pale, and his eyes filled with fear.

Upon hearing this, Xu Shaochen raised an eyebrow. “Wait.”

“Haha! Scared, huh? Let me tell you, have your dogs let me go now, and kneel down and bow a couple of times. Maybe I, the Young Master, will generously spare your life!”

Ma Cheng laughed arrogantly, thrilled at the thought that Xu Shaochen had been intimidated by his family’s status.

He figured Xu Shaochen had paused because of fear, letting Long Yi stop.

Xu Shaochen stood up and walked slowly toward Ma Cheng. “I’m sort of friends with your second brother, Ma Di.”

“Don’t give me that crap! What does my brother have to do with this? You offended me, not him!”

Ma Cheng sneered, his eyes full of malice as he glared at Xu Shaochen.

“I’m giving him some face because he’s a sort of friend. So, I’ll deal with your leg myself.”

Xu Shaochen said calmly, taking the handgun from Long Yi’s hand and aiming it at Ma Cheng’s right leg.
