Chapter 70: Feeling Parched

“How are you? Everything okay?”

Seeing Xu Shaochen walk in,

Zhou Fan, Liu Chao, Li Qi, and Xie Wei quickly gathered around him.

After all, Xu Shaochen had stayed in Zhao Qingyu’s office for so long. To them, it definitely didn’t seem like anything good could come from it.

“I’m fine. We just had a casual chat.” Xu Shaochen shook his head and said.

Not far away, Zhang Qingsong sneered. A chat? More like Teacher Zhao gave him a scolding, and now he’s too embarrassed to admit it.

“That’s good. Let’s head out for a meal.”

The group let out a sigh of relief. Zhou Fan and the others exchanged glances and made it clear that they were expecting Xu Shaochen to treat them.

“You guys want me to treat again? Seriously, are you the so-called Short, Poor, and Ugly?” Xu Shaochen rolled his eyes at Zhou Fan.

Zhou Fan shook his head solemnly and replied with conviction, “No, I’m the real-life version of Short, Poor, and Ugly.”

“You guys settle it yourselves today. I’m taking Weiwei out for dinner.” Xu Shaochen hugged Xie Wei and walked away, ignoring the despairing looks from the others.

Zhang Qingsong’s face twisted with jealousy as he watched his goddess nestle in Xu Shaochen’s arms. His heart was bleeding.

Xu Shaochen took Xie Wei to a restaurant near the school and booked a private room.

“It’s just the two of us. Isn’t booking a private room a bit too extravagant?”

Looking at the empty private room, Xie Wei furrowed her elegant brows. She liked saving money but didn’t like wasting it.

“It’s not wasteful. We need to do some exercise to work up an appetite first.”

Xu Shaochen grinned mischievously as he held Xie Wei. The past few days had been torment for him.

Today, Xie Wei was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt paired with tight black pants, accentuating her graceful curves. Xu Shaochen couldn’t wait to embrace her and let his passion run wild.

He didn’t have the experience, but Liu Rushuang was at least management material, so it should be easy for her.

He planned to check on how things were progressing. After all, it would be a disaster if the company opened without any employees.

Arriving at the residential complex where the Liu sisters lived, Xu Shaochen instructed Long Yi and Long Er to wait downstairs while he went up alone.

Standing at the door, he knocked.

Moments later, the door opened. But it was Liu Ruxu who opened it.

“What are you doing here?” Liu Ruxu was stunned when she saw Xu Shaochen. Was he so impatient that he chased her home?

“I’m off today. Come on in!” Liu Ruxu replied as she stepped aside to let him in.

Xu Shaochen walked in, “I’m here to see Rushuang.”

One had to admit that when these two sisters stood together, they were truly a sight to behold.

Their faces were about seventy percent similar: one was charming and seductive, the other pure and proud. Though their temperaments were different, they were both equally captivating.

Liu Ruxu’s eyes roved between Xu Shaochen and Liu Rushuang. It wasn’t enough for Xu Shaochen to sleep with her; now he wanted to sleep with her sister too? But it made sense. Her sister was still a virgin, and the appeal of twin sisters must be pretty strong for someone like Xu Shaochen.

To be honest, Liu Ruxu thought it wasn’t bad that Xu Shaochen was interested in Liu Rushuang. She was much more down-to-earth than her sister.

Only she knew that she had been staying up late the past two nights reading resumes, all for this bastard.

“You adulterous couple.”

Liu Rushuang cursed under her breath, then angrily went back to her room.

“Sister Liu, I don’t need a loan, but I do have more money coming in a couple of days.”

With Liu Rushuang gone, Xu Shaochen grew bolder and gently cupped Liu Ruxu’s chin.

They kissed for a long time before their lips parted.

“You little rascal, don’t you fear that Rushuang might see us?” Liu Ruxu teased, wrapping her arms around Xu Shaochen’s neck.

Xu Shaochen chuckled mischievously and whispered, “Sister Liu, you don’t mind, do you?”

“If you can handle Rushuang, I don’t mind fulfilling your wish,” Liu Ruxu whispered in Xu Shaochen’s ear, her breath warm and seductive.

Her words made Xu Shaochen feel an unbearable thirst.
