Chapter 725: Someone’s Looking to Die

Jingcheng city center.

Deng Tianwen and his four bodyguards were laden with shopping bags, sweat beading on their foreheads.

Ahead of them Xie Wei and Hou Xiaoyan walked arm in arm facing the shopping malls like wolves entering a flock of sheep.

They bought all sorts of things: clothes shoes cosmetics jewelry.

At first Hou Xiaoyan was reluctant to spend money but later Xie Wei encouraged Deng Tianwen to give his Card to Hou Xiaoyan.

Hou Xiaoyan didn’t want to spend Deng Tianwen’s money initially hesitating but eventually stopped being overly polite.

Deng Tianwen smiled happily at this. Generally when a woman is willing to spend a man’s money it means she has accepted him.

Of course this applies to normal women excluding those gold-diggers who are a different species altogether.

“Excuse me are you Miss Xie Wei?”

At this moment two young men in suits approached and politely asked Xie Wei.

Seeing this Deng Tianwen quickly approached with his four bodyguards: “What’s going on?”

Seeing Deng Tianwen and his group Xie Wei felt a bit more at ease. She nodded “Yes I’m Xie Wei. May I ask what this is about?”

“It’s like this Miss Xie we’re Young Master Chen’s people. Mr. Xu is currently a guest at the Chen Family residence. He asked us to bring you over.”

One of the young men revealed a gentle smile speaking calmly.

“Oh is that so? May I give him a call?”

Xie Wei smiled faintly already taking out her Phone.

Deng Tianwen and his four bodyguards were all warily watching the two young men opposite them sensing Xie Wei’s suspicion.

“Of course you can.”

The two young men made a gesture of invitation.

Hearing this the doubt in Xie Wei’s eyes faded a bit. If they had ill intentions they certainly wouldn’t let her call Xu Shaochen to confirm.

But for safety’s sake Xie Wei still dialed Xu Shaochen’s number but it showed as busy.

After several attempts all showing as busy she put away her Phone and said to the two young men “I’ll go with you then he must be on an important call.”

“This way please Miss Xie.”

The two men made way allowing Xie Wei to walk between them.

Not far away in a blue BMW a young man watched this scene with a cold smile.

It would be strange if Xie Wei could get through. They had just arranged for many people to keep calling Xu Shaochen’s number so it would always be busy when Xie Wei called.

If Xu Shaochen were here he would definitely recognize them.

This young man was one of those who had been following Xiao Huang yesterday.

Seeing that Xie Wei’s suspicions were dispelled Deng Tianwen also felt more at ease.

He followed behind Xie Wei walking towards a Car by the roadside.

Suddenly he noticed something was off.

He realized that the people around who had been making calls eating or reading newspapers almost simultaneously dispersed as if on command.

With the mindset of better safe than sorry Deng Tianwen decided to act.

After all putting aside the fact that Xu Shaochen would definitely go crazy if anything happened to Xie Wei he would equally lose his mind if anything happened to Hou Xiaoyan.

Thinking of this he discreetly signaled to his four bodyguards.

Although the four didn’t understand Deng Tianwen’s intentions they focused their attention on him.

Suddenly Deng Tianwen sprang into action hurling the shopping bags he was carrying at the two young men.

“Yan! Run! Take Xie Wei and run!”

Deng Tianwen roared lunging forward to tackle one of them to the ground.

The four bodyguards who had been focused on him quickly reacted.

At this moment many people suddenly rushed out from all directions towards Xie Wei and her group.

Hou Xiaoyan and Xie Wei were both stunned by this scene. Fortunately Xie Wei recovered first pulling Hou Xiaoyan to run.

Some tried to chase but the four bodyguards used their bodies to block holding onto the pursuers tightly or tackling them to the ground grabbing their legs.

This was what they were paid for this was their livelihood. Moreover if they abandoned Xie Wei and ran Xu Shaochen would definitely flay them alive.

“Deng Tianwen!”

Experiencing such a scene for the first time Hou Xiaoyan only reacted after running far away.

Although she often complained about Deng Tianwen at this moment she couldn’t help but worry about him.

“Bring that damned bastard back and give him a good lesson. Let him know the consequences of messing things up.”

As soon as he finished speaking he hung up and drove away.

In a place full of surveillance cameras he would never get out of the Car and show his face.

Soon Deng Tianwen and the four bodyguards were taken away. By the time the Police arrived the scene was completely cleared not even a chicken feather remained.

After parting with Chen Ju Xu Shaochen was on his way to meet Zhao Li and Liang Huan.

The three were drinking at a clubhouse.

“Damn these telemarketers are too rampant now. Young Master Xu must have received over twenty calls just now.”

Liang Huan poured a glass of alcohol looking at Xu Shaochen his breath reeking of alcohol.

“Yeah blocking them doesn’t even help.”

Xu Shaochen felt something was off. How could he receive so many telemarketing calls in such a short time?

“Ring ring ring…”

Suddenly his Phone rang again.

“Fuck! Is there no end to this? Young Master Xu don’t hang up. This should be from the same company. I’ll have someone track them down and finish them!”

Zhao Li full of hostility said through his drunken hiccups gnashing his teeth.

Xu Shaochen was also extremely irritated. If he wasn’t afraid of missing an important call he would have turned off his Phone long ago.

Taking it out he saw it was Xie Wei calling. He immediately perked up: “Hello.”

“Shaochen where are you? We were just ambushed. Tianwen was captured by them while protecting me and Xiaoyan!”

Xu Shaochen’s drunkenness dissipated instantly as he stood up from the sofa.

Zhao Li and Liang Huan were both startled. They looked at each other silently putting down their wine glasses.

“I’m at the Police station now. Come quickly.”

“Wait for me.”

After speaking Xu Shaochen hung up the Phone his face so dark it seemed water could drip from it.

“What happened Young Master Xu?”

Seeing Xu Shaochen finish the call Zhao Li and Liang Huan quickly asked.

“Someone’s looking to die.”

“You guys continue I have to go now.”

With that Xu Shaochen strode towards the private room’s door.

Zhao Li and Liang Huan exchanged a glance and unanimously followed him.
