Chapter Index

“Don’t worry, I know. I don’t mind letting him jump around for a couple more days.”

    Xu Shaochen said calmly.

He certainly didn’t want to cause unnecessary trouble.

Although he couldn’t go and kill Xiao Huang now,

This didn’t stop Xu Shaochen from annoying him.

Xu Shaochen raised his right hand waved at Xiao Huang with a bright smile on his face.

    “Bang!”

In the private room Xiao Huang holding a wine glass in his left hand smashed it directly on the ground his face contorting.

    “Damn! This is too much!”

Xiao Huang cursed through gritted teeth.

He found that whenever he encountered Xu Shaochen he simply couldn’t keep his composure.

“Young Master please calm down. The other side is deliberately provoking you.”

The bodyguard quickly took a new wine glass and poured him a drink.

“Whether he’s provoking me or not can’t I see for myself? I don’t need you to tell me such nonsense!”

Xiao Huang said coldly downed the drink in one go a cold glint flashing in his eyes: “Go call Meng to see me.”

    “Yes Young Master.”

The bodyguard responded then turned and left the private room.

A few minutes later the bodyguard returned with a muscular young man.

The young man wasn’t tall but was very robust with a shaved head and a sCar on his forehead making him look even more fierce.

He wore only a pair of shorts walked very casually but exuded a beast-like aura.

    This was Meng.

The first time he came to fight in an underground match he killed someone Xiao Huang took notice of him and bet on every match he was in.

When people are willing to bet it attracts more people to bet more money and such fighters become popular fighters.

Meng was raised up by Xiao Huang in this way.

“Young Master Xiao you called for me.”

Meng was very respectful in front of Xiao Huang after all Xiao Huang was like his mentor.

“See that guy sitting at the edge in the opposite room? After you win your match with the Thai guy challenge him on the ring and humiliate him thoroughly!”

Xiao Huang pointed at Xu Shaochen speaking through gritted teeth. If Xu Shaochen didn’t dare to accept the challenge surely everyone present would mock him.

If he got hot-headed and accepted that’s exactly what Xiao Huang wanted because Xu Shaochen might get beaten to death.

“Yes Young Master Xiao don’t worry.”

Meng glanced at Xu Shaochen then nodded.

“Drink this glass of wine then go prepare well for the match. I’ve bet one hundred million on you.”

Xiao Huang handed over his wine glass.

One hundred million wasn’t a big sum for the Xiao Family.

But for Xiao Huang it was a huge amount considering he had invested all his money into that experiment.

Now taking out one hundred million to bet on a boxing match showed how confident he was in Meng.

“Thank you for your trust Young Master Xiao. I definitely won’t disappoint you.”

Meng said resolutely took the wine glass drank it all at once then turned and left the private room.

Hearing the sound of the private room door closing Xiao Huang looked towards Xu Shaochen opposite him revealing a cold smile.

“Young Master Xu Xiao Huang probably just asked Meng to provoke you on the ring later. You must

    not impulsively accept the challenge.”

Chen Ju looked at Xu Shaochen with a grave expression he had already guessed Xiao Huang’s intentions.

Xu Shaochen chuckled lightly: “What? Do you think I’m such an impulsive person?”

“Moreover what’s that Meng anyway? Just a brute making a living from underground fighting. Is he worthy of me fighting him?”

He could definitely beat Meng but he wouldn’t fight him because it would lower his status.

Chen Ju Zhao Li and Liang Huan hearing this all unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.

It was good that Xu Shaochen had no such intention.

If he sometimes got hot-headed the three of them might not be able to stop him.

Soon the first boxing match began.

The host walked onto the ring holding a microphone and shouted loudly.

“Welcome everyone to tonight’s peak boxing match at the Meilan clubhouse.”

“There are only three matches tonight because the last one is the highly anticipated battle between the Thai guy and Boss Meng!”

    “Woohoo–”

    “Boss Meng! Boss Meng!”

    “Thai guy–”

As the host finished speaking the entire underground boxing arena instantly erupted with thunderous cheers.

“Now let’s start our first match. One of them is a new face a Taekwondo black belt master Choi Pyeong from Stick Nation and our old friend Boss Meng!”

“Will Choi Pyeong bring us an unexpected surprise like Meng and the Thai guy did initially?”

    “Let’s wait and see!”

After the host finished speaking the audience’s reaction was lukewarm.

After all the result of this match was already within everyone’s expectations.

In everyone’s view Meng would definitely be the final winner.

Soon Meng walked onto the ring.

Choi Pyeong wearing a Taekwondo uniform also walked onto the ring.

“Longguo person I heard you have a high reputation here. Today I will step over you to rise. I must say you’re a good stepping stone.”

Choi Pyeong looked at Meng and said arrogantly possibly due to the hereditary disease that all Stick Nation people have—looking down on others.

“Too much talk. I’m very curious how many punches your skinny body can withstand.”

Meng sneered twisted his neck making his fists crack.

Like every Longguo person he liked beating Stick Nation people and Japanese players the most.

    “Ah!”

Choi Pyeong shouted angrily then rushed towards Meng throwing out a flying kick.

Meng sneered a look of disdain flashing in his eyes. He directly grabbed Choi Pyeong’s ankle as it swept over and slammed his elbow down hard with his other hand.

    “Crack–”

A crisp sound rang out. Choi Pyeong’s right lower leg was directly broken the bone piercing through the skin blood flowing.

    “Ahhh!”

Choi Pyeong let out a shrill scream.

    “Bang!”

Meng threw him violently onto the iron netting of the ring then he fell heavily onto the ring his fate unknown.

The scene was quiet for a moment.

Everyone had predicted Meng would win but didn’t expect the so-called Taekwondo black belt master to be so weak.

    “Meng! Meng!”

    “Meng! Meng!”

After a brief silence cheers and screams began to resound throughout.

After all the scene of Choi Pyeong’s lower leg being brutally broken with bone piercing through skin was very violent and bloody.

Meng looked at Xu Shaochen sneered then turned and walked off the ring.

As if he had just killed a chicken.

    “What do you think?”

Xu Shaochen turned his head and asked Long Yi behind him.

    Long Yi said: “Very strong.”

“Can you beat him?” Xu Shaochen asked again.

    Long Yi said disdainfully:

“If it’s a match I definitely wouldn’t be his opponent. But if it’s a fight to the death he’d certainly be the one to die.”
