Chapter 744: Why Are You Treating Me Like an Idiot?

A few minutes later the woman walked out of the room.

She had changed into a red spaghetti-strap mini dress.

Her fair shoulders and delicate collarbone were exposed to the air. The dress was stretched taut creating a high arc and barely covering her thighs. A pair of sheer tights accentuated her long legs making them appear even more slender and alluring.

On her feet she wore a pair of rose-gold stilettos which made her appear even taller and more radiant.

Her chestnut-colored wavy long hair contrasted sharply with her smooth jade-like back while her bright red lips were breathtakingly beautiful.

Logically a woman like this should exude a sensual aura but what she emanated was a clean-cut cool and decisive style.

Moreover the decor of the house tended towards a neutral style.

So Xu Shaochen suspected she might be transgender.

With this suspicion Xu Shaochen’s gaze towards her held no unhealthy thoughts but rather a hint of wariness.

“Young Master Xu it’s our first meeting. Let me introduce myself. My surname is Tang and I’m called Tang Silin.”

The woman sat down opposite Xu Shaochen crossing her legs and leaning slightly to the left perfectly avoiding any wardrobe malfunction due to her short skirt.

“To be honest I’m surprised that the boss of Meilan is a… woman.”

When Xu Shaochen said the word ‘woman’ there was still a hint of doubt in his voice.

Tang Silin chuckled lightly: “Could it be that Young Master Xu doubts I’m a woman? If not shall I spread my legs for you to confirm?”

She said this in a calm tone as if discussing something trivial.

Without a doubt if Xu Shaochen had nodded she would have really done so.

Xu Shaochen was stunned clearly shocked by this woman’s boldness.

Could a woman with normal thought processes say such a thing?

“That won’t be necessary Miss Tang. I’m just here to collect the money and satisfy my curiosity. Now that my curiosity is satisfied isn’t it time to give me my money?”

Xu Shaochen shook his head. Of course he wouldn’t actually let Tang Silin spread her legs for him to check. That would be too crude.

“The money is here. One billion. Meilan didn’t take a single cent.” Tang Silin placed a bank Card on the table then continued: “However apart from this 1 billion I’d like to discuss something else with Young Master Xu.”

“Please.” Xu Shaochen made a gesture of invitation not knowing what this woman wanted to talk about.

Tang Silin leaned back on the sofa changing her crossed legs to a more relaxed position and said calmly: “Young Master Xu has a grudge against Xiao Huang. Coincidentally I also have a grudge against him. So I’d like to discuss Xiao Huang with Young Master Xu.”

“Is Miss Tang joking? Everyone knows Meilan’s background is unfathomable. If you really wanted to deal with Xiao Huang wouldn’t it be too easy?”

Xu Shaochen shook his head as if he had heard a joke looking somewhat skeptical.

He was just short of pointing at her nose and cursing ‘I have no grudge against you why are you treating me like an idiot?’

Tang Silin said meaningfully: “If I tell Young Master Xu that Meilan and I have no background at all would you believe it?”

“Do you think I would?” Xu Shaochen countered.

Tang Silin tucked a strand of hair behind her ear: “Everyone thinks the same as Young Master Xu. They all believe Meilan has a deep background so no one dares to act rashly. Over time the lie becomes the truth.”

“In reality Meilan is just a paper tiger. Once someone truly challenges Meilan to the end Meilan would be finished.”

“Aren’t you afraid I’ll spread this information Miss Tang? Or are you not afraid that I might take action against Meilan myself?” Xu Shaochen asked with a smile.

Tang Silin shook her head: “I’ve said I have a grudge against Xiao Huang but I can’t get revenge on my own. So I want to cooperate with Young Master Xu. Isn’t the premise of cooperation mutual trust?”

“Moreover I’m a woman. I’m not interested in money. Although Meilan is my life’s work if it’s gone it’s gone.”

Xu Shaochen smiled without speaking. If you hadn’t said you were a woman I wouldn’t dare believe you really were one.

“How does Miss Tang propose we cooperate?” Xu Shaochen asked.

Tang Silin said: “Xiao Huang is not to be feared. As long as Young Master Xu can help me withstand the pressure from the Xiao Family I can handle Xiao Huang.”

“The foundation of cooperation is mutual trust but I don’t trust Miss Tang enough yet.” Xu Shaochen said with a faint smile.

“You close your eyes and turn around.” Tang Silin pointed at Long Er who had come in with Xu Shaochen.

Long Er glanced at Xu Shaochen then turned to face the door keeping his eyes straight ahead.

Tang Silin flicked her finger letting her spaghetti-strap dress fall to the ground revealing her completely naked body beneath. Looking at Xu Shaochen she said calmly:

“This is probably the best way I can think of for a man and a woman to trust each other perfectly. Come on.”

As she finished speaking Tang Silin closed her eyes and kicked off her high heels.

Xu Shaochen was momentarily stunned. He stood up walked over to Tang Silin and gently ran his hand over her body as if appreciating a delicate work of art.

After a while he removed his hand and said: “It was just a joke Miss Tang. Now I believe you.”

With that Xu Shaochen picked up the bank Card from the table and strode out of the room.

He had been testing Tang Silin but he hadn’t expected that woman to not resist at all.

Long Er followed him out of the room keeping his eyes straight ahead.

Tang Silin opened her eyes watching Xu Shaochen’s retreating figure with a look of disgust.

“Did he believe it?”

The bedroom door opened once again and a woman with long flowing hair a tall figure wearing a white long dress and a delicate demeanor walked out.

“After going to such lengths he should believe it. Xiao Huang has been continuously experimenting with that object. I have no choice but to speed things up.”

Tang Silin said calmly. She had a grudge against Xiao Huang but she didn’t want revenge. She just wanted to take something from Xiao Huang.

Letting Xu Shaochen withstand the pressure from the Xiao Family would allow her to freely snatch that object from Xiao Huang.

To put it bluntly Xu Shaochen was just a tool she was using.

“How did it feel to be touched by a man?”

The black-haired woman asked reaching out to caress Tang Silin’s cheek.

“It made me feel sick. Compared to men who think with their lower halves I still prefer

women because only women understand what women want.”

As Tang Silin spoke she stood up and kissed the black-haired woman. Then the two embraced and slowly moved towards the bedroom.

It’s a good thing Xu Shaochen didn’t see this scene otherwise he would certainly have lamented the decline of social morals.

These days it’s tough being a man. Not only do they have to compete with other men but they also have to contend with women as rivals.

There are more and more single men because it turns out women have all turned to lesbianism.

Indeed only those of the same sex can truly love each other.
