Chapter 756: Two More Bachelors

“Miss Tang is joking.”

Young Master Xu chuckled lightly and plucked a black hair from Tang Silin’s neck saying jokingly:

“Miss Tang you haven’t just been intimate with a woman have you?”

Tang Silin’s hair was chestnut-colored and slightly curly but this strand on her neck was straight and black.

More importantly as he got closer Xu Shaochen keenly noticed faint hickeys on her neck and a perfume scent that wasn’t hers.

He couldn’t help but wonder if this woman had just crawled out of another woman’s embrace.

And with her being so cold towards men could she really be a lesbian?

“What’s wrong with that? Who says we women can only like men?”

Tang Silin asked back with a smile appearing very calm.

This attitude made it even harder for Xu Shaochen to confirm his suspicions.

“Sigh I just find it a pity. The world has gained another lesbian couple but two more bachelors as well.”

Xu Shaochen sighed and stood up straight.

“Why is Young Master Xu feeling melancholic? You’ll never be a bachelor anyway. Even if you did become one you’d still have me right?”

Tang Silin said with a smile.

“I wouldn’t dare.”

Xu Shaochen shook his head then strode out of the room.

Not to mention he couldn’t get interested in this woman.

Even if he was interested he wouldn’t dare!

To use an internet phrase he was afraid there might be poison down there and if he died he wouldn’t even know how.

This woman was hard for him to figure out. It was better to keep a bit of distance.

“Click—”

As soon as Xu Shaochen left a woman with long straight black hair walked out of the room.

“Did he find out?”

The woman walked over sat in Tang Silin’s lap and affectionately wrapped her arms around her neck leaning her whole body against her.

Tang Silin lowered her head and lightly kissed her cheek saying “He found out so what? Our business is none of his concern.”

“I’m afraid of my family finding out…” The woman’s face showed some worry and she hugged Tang Silin tighter.

Her family only thought she and Tang Silin were best friends little did they know the two were more than that.

Her family background wouldn’t allow her to do such an unconventional thing.

Moreover her future was meant to be used by the family for a marriage alliance to elevate the family’s power.

How could they possibly let her be with a woman? For the family this was not only a waste of resources but also a laughingstock.

“Qian Ya don’t worry I’m here for everything.” Tang Silin patted her jade-like back to comfort her.

Li Qian Ya nodded then blushing she whispered something in Tang Silin’s ear.

Unfortunately Xu Shaochen left too quickly missing out on the beautiful scene that followed.

“Young Master Xu are you finished with your meeting?”

As Xu Shaochen walked down the long corridor and reached the main hall of Meilan Clubhouse Xie Tianyu hurried over to greet him.

“Mm I’m leaving now.”

Xu Shaochen nodded his attitude towards Xie Tianyu was still quite good.

Xie Tianyu quickly said “Then let me see you out.”

“No need please stay here.” Xu Shaochen waved his hand in refusal.

Xie Tianyu still insisted “It’s no trouble Young Master Xu don’t stand on ceremony. I might as well check if those two bastards are slacking off.”

Hearing this Xu Shaochen stopped refusing and the two walked out of Meilan Clubhouse.

When they came out they found a crowd gathered across the street.

The two exchanged glances and curiously walked over.

After squeezing into the crowd both were dumbfounded looking at each other with expressions that screamed ‘What the hell?’

They saw the two Meilan security guards entangled with each other faces bruised and bloody clothes torn to shreds.

“Damn you still wanna fight? Had enough yet?”

“Enough my ass! If you’ve got the guts stop choking me. I’ll beat you till your own mother won’t recognize you!”

The two were at a stalemate having progressed from physical fighting to verbal sparring.

Xu Shaochen’s mouth twitched as he looked at Xie Tianyu with a strange expression. What kind of weirdos did they hire?

Xie Tianyu’s face turned ashen with anger. He stepped forward and kicked out several times.

“You embarrassing fools! What are you doing planning to spend the night hugging each other here? Want me to bring you a quilt?”

“Ah! Mr. Xie I was wrong please stop hitting!”

“Mr. Xie have mercy…”

The two hurriedly let go of each other and scrambled to their feet.

“Young Master Xu I’m sorry you had to see that. I’ll deal with these two scoundrels first so I won’t see you off.”

Xie Tianyu barely suppressing his anger forced a stiff smile at Xu Shaochen.

“Go ahead take care of it.”

Xu Shaochen nodded understandingly then turned to walk towards his Car.

Right after he could hear Xie Tianyu’s angry cursing behind him.

“Goddamn it get back inside! I’ll teach you a lesson when we’re inside!”

“Mr. Xie please have mercy…”

Xu Shaochen got in the Car and asked “What was that about with those two just now?”

“Boss those two are just oddballs.”

Long Yi and Long Er could barely contain their laughter. They had been watching the whole scene from the Car laughing like idiots.

After hearing their explanation Xu Shaochen couldn’t help but chuckle as well.

“Let’s go back to the hotel.”

Xu Shaochen said as he took out his Phone to call Liang Chuan from Sheng Qin Group.

They had originally agreed on when to make a move against the Xiao Family but due to today’s unexpected situation it seemed necessary to act earlier.

“Young Master Xu I know what you want to say. After receiving the news I’ve already started preparations.”

“Leave the business matters to me. I’ll cut off the Xiao Family’s funding chain immediately.”

As soon as the call connected Liang Chuan rattled off a long string of words before Xu Shaochen could speak.

“Since Young Master Liang has done what needs to be done I have nothing more to say.” Xu Shaochen said.

“Young Master Xu we’ll handle the economic aspects but for the political side we’ll have to trouble you to approach the Chen Family. We can’t act on that front otherwise it won’t just be the Xiao Family’s issue but a matter concerning all the old established families.”

No matter what the problem once it escalates to the political level it’s no longer just an issue between one or two families.

Especially since Liang Chuan and his people belong to a different faction than the Xiao Family. If they really took action it would turn into a factional struggle between the old nobility and the nouveau riche.

But if the Chen Family moves against the Xiao Family it’s considered internal strife within the old established families’ faction an internal conflict that remains controlled within that circle and doesn’t involve outsiders.

“Alright I’ll communicate with the Chen Family.”

Xu Shaochen said. Not just the Chen Family but also the Zhao and Liang families.

Liang Huan and Liang Chuan both have the surname Liang and their names sound similar but they have no relation and are even on opposing sides.

“That’s all then Young Master Xu. Let’s keep each other informed of any developments.”

Hearing this Xu Shaochen hung up the Phone and then called Chen Ju.
