Chapter 766: Scientific Fortune-Telling Method

Xu Shaochen and Xie Wei arrived at a residential compound according to the address they found online.

After parking the Car Xu Shaochen embraced Xie Wei’s slender waist as they walked towards the compound gate followed by Long Yi and Long Er.

“You two aren’t residents of this compound. What brings you here?”

The security guard at the entrance stopped them.

“We’re here to see Doctor Liao.”

Xie Wei said.

“Oh you’re here for Doctor Liao too? You’ve come to the right place. Doctor Liao isn’t just skilled in medicine he can also read faces and tell fortunes and he’s incredibly accurate.”

The security guard said with a serious expression.

Xu Shaochen frowned. Someone who could both treat illnesses and tell fortunes? This sounded even less credible.

“Really?”

Xie Wei’s eyes lit up appearing very excited.

Seeing this Xu Shaochen couldn’t help but sigh inwardly. Love truly makes one blind. How could such an intelligent woman believe in this nonsense?

The security guard took out two forms for them to fill.

The guard said handing them each a pen.

The guard asked casually as if making small talk.

“No need to rush I already know why you’re here.” Before Xie Wei could finish Doctor Liao interrupted her. He made a gesture with his fingers and said “If I’m not mistaken you’re here about having a child right?”

Xie Wei tugged at Xu Shaochen’s sleeve because she was certain she had never met this Doctor Liao before.

Yet everything Doctor Liao said was correct.

Xu Shaochen frowned his gaze falling on a red cloth covering something on a cabinet in the living room.

Compared to the overall layout of the living room this red cloth seemed somewhat out of place.

Moreover Doctor Liao’s accurate predictions surprised even Xu Shaochen but he still couldn’t believe it.

Without even asking for their birth dates and times he could deduce so much information from just a glance. If he were truly that miraculous he’d be famous nationwide by now.

“Please come in.”

Doctor Liao smiled self-assuredly then stepped aside to let Xu Shaochen and Xie Wei enter.

Xu Shaochen and Xie Wei walked in and closed the door behind them.

“Doctor Liao please help me. My boyfriend and I have been together for a long time but I still haven’t gotten pregnant.”

Xie Wei said eagerly.

“No rush. Let me first explain my fee structure. I charge per treatment course which mainly involves herbal medicine supplemented by qigong therapy.”

“In my eyes all patients are equal. Regardless of the ailment one course of treatment costs eighteen thousand yuan.”

Doctor Liao said nonchalantly.

Underneath was a small fax machine currently in operation. A form was being transmitted and two others had already been received.

Xu Shaochen picked them up and saw they were the exact forms he and Xie Wei had just filled out at the security booth.

Xu Shaochen’s gaze turned cold. Holding the two forms he turned back to Doctor Liao and said with a mocking smile:

“No wonder Doctor Liao’s fortune-telling and face-reading are so accurate. You’ve combined it with scientific technology keeping up with the times. It’s truly admirable.”

Doctor Liao’s face turned as red as a pig’s liver. He stood there speechless for a long time.

Xie Wei got up and walked over. Seeing the forms her face also turned cold with anger burning in her heart.
