Chapter 774: The Plot Deviated from the Script

Li Qian Ya looked at him with barely concealed disgust.

Xu Shaochen smiled and squeezed her leg forcefully before withdrawing his hand.

She’s actually using her charms on me. To be frank how is this any different from throwing herself to the tigers?

Feeling the strength of Xu Shaochen’s grip Li Qian Ya winced in pain instinctively glaring at him about to lose her temper.

“What’s wrong with me?”

Xu Shaochen looked at her with a smirk. It felt good to play along. Give me a dozen more women as beautiful and stupid as her.

“You… couldn’t you be gentler? Really don’t you know how to treat a lady?”

Li Qian Ya changed her tone. Her original anger turned into coquettish complaint her eyes alluring and captivating.

“Then I’ll be gentler this time…”

Xu Shaochen said as he was about to place his hand on her again.

“Slap!”

Li Qian Ya swatted his hand away saying with a mix of anger and charm “That’s enough go home and touch your girlfriend don’t push your luck.”

Give him a taste of sweetness occasionally but don’t satisfy him too much. Keep him hooked like this not too high not too low make him your loyal dog.

This was the strategy Li Qian Ya had learned online. After all she had never done this before so she had to study in advance.

“Alright alright my bad.”

Xu Shaochen surrendered pulling his hand back.

More than ten minutes later the Car stopped in front of a restaurant.

The restaurant was shaped like a giant diamond made entirely of glass sparkling with different lights dazzling to the eye.

Just by looking at the design one could tell dining here wouldn’t be cheap.

After getting out of the Car Li Qian Ya held onto Xu Shaochen’s arm as they walked into the restaurant.

At the same time an inconspicuous Volkswagen Lavida stopped not far away.

After watching the two enter the restaurant the driver in the Car took out his Phone and made a call.

“Hello Young Master Hui Miss Li is indeed on a date with a man. They just entered the restaurant. I’ll send you the location soon. Yes don’t worry I’m keeping an eye on things here.”

After hanging up the driver lit a cigarette and held it in his mouth feeling sympathy for the pretty boy from earlier.

Daring to make a move on a woman Yang Hui had his eye on.

This was practically risking his life to court a girl.

Such a person was truly admirable.

Li Qian Ya had already reserved a table here in advance.

And it was on the top floor.

Led by a waiter the two came to the top floor of the restaurant.

The entire top floor had only eight dining tables all placed near the edge allowing diners to enjoy the night view from above.

In the center was a grand piano where a young man was playing a piece.

Next to him a woman was playing the violin.

Beautiful music exquisite dining environment breathtaking night view. Were they here to eat? No they were here to spend money.

The two sat down at their table facing each other.

“Excuse me would you like to start ordering now?”

The waiter bowed slightly asking respectfully.

“Yes we’ll start now.”

Li Qian Ya nodded looking at Xu Shaochen and said “The top floor is only open to the public at night. It has its own kitchen and each table has a dedicated head chef. There’s no fixed menu the menu here changes every night but it covers both Chinese and Western cuisines.”

“Is that so? Then the food here must be excellent.”

Xu Shaochen smiled noncommittally in his heart but on the surface he put on a satisfied expression to play along.

“How can you be so unromantic? Did you come here just to eat?”

Li Qian Ya rolled her eyes flirtatiously.

“What else then? Isn’t coming to a restaurant specifically for eating? Or should I eat you instead? But for that we should go to a hotel.”

Xu Shaochen said with a mischievous grin his words teasing Li Qian Ya.

Since she was using her charms on him Xu Shaochen held nothing back. It would be a waste not to take advantage of the opportunity presented.

“Bah you can’t say anything decent.”

Li Qian Ya increasingly looked down on Xu Shaochen in her heart. A man controlled by his lust if it weren’t for his background he would amount to nothing significant in this life.

Of course the more contemptible Xu Shaochen was the happier Li Qian Ya felt. After all this would make it easier for her to implement her plan.

“Miss Li you’re so beautiful. It’s a shame you like women. That’s a great loss for us men.”

Xu Shaochen held Li Qian Ya’s jade-like hand that was resting on the table feeling its smooth delicacy.

Li Qian Ya resisted the urge to pull her hand away smiling beautifully and said meaningfully “That’s not necessarily true. It’s not that I don’t like men I just haven’t met one who moves my heart yet.”

“Oh? I wonder what type Miss Li likes. How about me?”

Xu Shaochen said eagerly with an impatient look gradually tightening his grip on Li Qian Ya’s hand.

Li Qian Ya pretended to hesitate then said “You’re okay I guess. At least I don’t dislike you otherwise I wouldn’t have invited Young Master Xu out for dinner.”

You stupid pig look at how you think with your lower half it’s truly nauseating.

Li Qian Ya thought viciously but maintained her smile on the surface.

They were both acting.

The difference was Xu Shaochen was playing along with Li Qian Ya’s act.

“Bastard! What the fuck are you doing? Let go of Qian Ya!”

At that moment an angry shout reached everyone’s ears.

Xu Shaochen and Li Qian Ya instinctively looked towards the entrance.

They saw a slightly overweight young man angrily walking towards them.

“Yang Hui what are you doing here!”

Li Qian Ya raised her eyebrows looking at the young man with obvious impatience.

“Qian Ya! What do you think I’m here for? If I hadn’t come wouldn’t this little bastard be giving me a big green hat?”

Yang Hui sneered looking at Xu Shaochen with hostility.

“Yang Hui what nonsense are you spouting? Who I associate with is none of your business. Leave immediately!”

Li Qian Ya’s face darkened. If Yang Hui disrupted her plan it would be a significant loss.

“Qian Ya I don’t want to talk to you.” Yang Hui said turning to Xu Shaochen “Kid Qian Ya is my woman. I’m giving you a chance now get as far away as you can otherwise don’t blame me for being impolite.”

He was saying this just for Li Qian Ya to hear.

Of course he wouldn’t let Xu Shaochen off so easily.

His bodyguards were downstairs in the restaurant. Once Xu Shaochen left he would be taken away by the bodyguards then Yang Hui would deal with him slowly.

Li Qian Ya suddenly had an idea. She could use Yang Hui to show her vulnerable side and stimulate Xu Shaochen’s protective instincts deepening his infatuation with her.

With this in mind Li Qian Ya opened her watery eyes and called out coquettishly “Shaochen…”

Seeing this Yang Hui became even more enraged burning with jealousy.

“Alright then you two can continue talking. I’ll be leaving first.”

Xu Shaochen nodded at Yang Hui and stood up preparing to leave.

Li Qian Ya was instantly stunned. How was this different from the script she had in mind?
