“Are there any available tables?”

After more than ten minutes, Xu Shaochen saw a table of guests leave, and he quickly sat down to secure the spot.

“You must be Mr. Xu, right? I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.”

He had just sat down when a middle-aged man carrying a briefcase and wearing a black suit walked over.

“Lawyer Zhang? I just arrived as well. Please, have a seat!”

Mei Liangxin looked at the leftovers on the table, sat down, and casually picked up a pair of chopsticks to start digging into the pot.

Xu Shaochen and Zhang Wei were both left wide-eyed, staring at Mei Liangxin in astonishment.

“Hey, what are you doing? Don’t eat that! We need to order new dishes.” Xu Shaochen was the first to come to his senses and quickly stopped Mei Liangxin.

Mei Liangxin smiled nonchalantly and said, “It’s fine, no need to order new dishes. Why be so polite? There’s still so much left in the pot, I’ll make do and eat a little.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he picked up a piece of sausage and popped it into his mouth, praising, “Hmm, it tastes really good. We have to come back here and eat again next time.”

“I did, but you wouldn’t listen!” Xu Shaochen spread his hands helplessly. He tried to stop him earlier, but Mei Liangxin wouldn’t listen.

Hearing this, Mei Liangxin felt a thousand horses galloping through his mind. He grabbed a glass of water and downed it to rinse his mouth.

“Uh… that glass of water was also left by the previous guests.” Xu Shaochen kindly reminded.

Mei Liangxin hurriedly shouted, unable to wait any longer, feeling nauseated and looking pale.
