Chapter Index

Im quickly realized that her attack couldn’t keep up with Karl’s speed, a look of shock flashing across her face. “Could that underwear be some kind of artifact? How did it boost his speed so dramatically in such a short time?”

She hadn’t expected that the red underwear didn’t just enhance speed—it also granted overwhelming power.

The Heavenly King’s attacks moved at ridiculous speed, so fast even someone as strong as Rocks couldn’t dodge them all. But now that the power was cranked up tenfold, Karl, wearing those red underpants, was actually outrunning the barrage and heading straight for the sky.

“He’s coming straight for the sky—this is bad!”

Im instantly knew something was wrong. Karl wasn’t just dodging—he was planning to go head-to-head with the Heavenly King’s core. And that core was nowhere near as durable.

She frantically worked the controls, making the Heavenly King fire even more powerful beams at Karl as he hurtled upward.

“So you can dodge one, but let’s see you dodge them all,” Im muttered.

Hundreds of energy beams shot down at Karl as he soared skyward. Im refused to believe he could get past all of them. Just one strike from that barrage could wipe out a place as big as God Valley.

Watching the beams come down from above, Karl grinned arrogantly. “Im, this is all you’ve got?”

“Time for you to witness some real superhero power.”

His experience time was running out—no time to waste. With a burst of speed, his legs accelerated in midair as he flew straight into the barrage.

Sure enough, super strength was no joke. He crashed through dozens of beams without a scratch, coming out at the top of the sky.

There, a massive metallic disk hovered above, looking exactly like an alien UFO.

“The technology tree in this world is totally crooked,” Karl muttered.

“Down below they’ve still got muskets and swords, but up here it’s flying saucers.”

Wearing his red underpants, Karl zipped forward, landing atop the alien-looking Heavenly King Uranus. The thing was huge—about a square kilometer in size.

Im started sweating as the reality sank in. “No way—this can’t be possible.”

“There’s no oxygen up there. How did he even get on board?”

That’s right—Heavenly King Uranus was stationed in outer space above the One Piece World, completely surrounded by a vacuum. Its safety had always been guaranteed.

Im had never worried anyone would attack Uranus directly, since there was no oxygen in space. For 800 years it was untouchable—until Karl appeared, shattering that logic.

After all, Superman can breathe in outer space, and with Karl’s three-minute superhero stint, he could too. It really was a match made in heaven.

Crouching on top of Uranus, Karl raised his right fist. “Im, let me help you clear out this hunk of scrap metal. No need to thank me.”

“No, stop!” From her secret chamber in Mariejois, Im screamed in desperation.

She’d seen Karl go all out in the God Valley battle, and she knew Uranus’s shell might not hold up.

But yelling was pointless—Karl couldn’t hear her. He started punching Uranus again and again, making the massive craft visibly shake.

There was no sound in outer space, but in Im’s mind, she could almost hear the clang! clang! clang!

After a few heavy punches, the top of Uranus caved in, leaving a giant hole. Karl wanted to go see what was inside, but there were only 30 seconds left on the Superman timer.

There just wasn’t enough time. Hopefully, he’d get lucky and draw Superman’s Underpants again someday.

With no other choice, he made a fist, flew through the new hole, burst out from the bottom, punching a massive hole through Uranus—finally satisfied, he headed back down to the Calm Belt.

Just as he landed, the Superman experience ended. Karl looked up at the sky and grinned. “Im, here’s a little gift for you. Hope you like it.”

Releasing a wave of Observation Haki, he quickly located Olga and the others. Flashing a wide, toothy smile, he waved at the sky and soared toward the ship.

Once Karl had flown away, Im got back to the controls, having completely missed his taunt—not that she could have stopped him anyway.

She summoned Heavenly King Uranus, which had floated in the sky for centuries. Now, every screen flashed red alerts.

Her usually cold voice cracked. “Curse you, Karl!”

“This won’t be the end of it.”

The damage readings showed over 70% destruction to Heavenly King Uranus. Even with repairs, it’d take decades to restore.

During those years, her only option was to build up her other forces to fill the void—otherwise, the sea’s balance would collapse.

Seething with rage, Im summoned the Five Elders. Nobody knows what was said, but after that day the World Government went into overdrive.

A flood of funds and Devil Fruits was dispatched, strengthening CP0, the Navy, and the Army—at a scale unseen for centuries.

All of it was just to make up for the loss of Heavenly King Uranus. Of course, only Im herself knew the real reason.

Meanwhile, Karl climbed aboard the ship. Olga came running up, riding Elizabeth.

“Karl! You’re alive!” she called, relieved.

“I was already making plans to run off with Dad if you died, you know!”

Karl looked at Olga by his feet, exasperated. He ruffled her hair until it was a mess. “Don’t worry, I’m not dying anytime soon. You can toss that idea in the trash.”

    “Yeah, says who?”

“Still, best to have an escape route ready just in case!”

Olga pouted, rode off on Elizabeth, clearly unstoppable when it came to running away.

The Fishmen glanced at Karl, who casually waved his hand. “Next stop—Cake Island!”

Everyone snapped to their duties as the ship sped toward Cake Island. Karl headed to the upper deck.

There was a table set up, a large sun umbrella, and a bench that was surprisingly roomy. It probably belonged to the ship’s previous owner—but now it was Karl’s.

    Creak! Creak!

As soon as he sat down, the bench groaned, sounding like it might collapse.

“Is this thing about to break?”

“Why is it creaking so much?”

Bench: Ever consider how heavy you are? Eight meters tall, weighing several tons—I can barely handle this!

“Forget the bench, I’ll deal with it later.”

Bench: Who do you think you are?! Unbelievable!

    Cue the applause!
