Chapter Index

“King?” Third Brother Huang’s subordinates looked at the spaceship outside and then at their king, confused. Could it be that their king had gone mad?

At this moment, a dozen mutant leaders arrived. Lame Liu took a sharp breath and said, “Old Third Huang, you’ve really got it.”

“Hehe, just luck,” Old Third Huang said.

“Old Third Huang, we should be more careful from now on. The Alliance isn’t so easy to deal with,” said one of the mutants.

“Of course. We must watch each other’s backs from now on,” Old Third Huang replied. He never trusted the Alliance. Building cities on the surface was fine by them, but he preferred staying underground. Wandering out in the open? That’d make him an easy target.

Suddenly, a powerful shockwave burst through the underground world. Many mutants were swept off their feet by the incoming blast.

“The Alliance fleet has made its move,” Old Third Huang noticed the blinding sunlight pouring into the Pit, his heart sinking.

A drone Drone Fighter roared above the Pit, dropping two massive shockwave bombs. The clouds within the Pit scattered with a thunderous boom.

High above at tens of thousands of kilometers, a damaged Jin Gang-class battleship still held dominion over this part of space.

A warship’s strength isn’t just about size but its energy system, defensive capabilities, the power of its laser cannons, its captain’s skill, and the number of fighters and mechas it carries.

When the spaceship below the Pit fired its laser cannons, it was immediately detected by the warship. The captain ordered the nearest drone fighter to drop bombs on the Pit to scatter the clouds and assess the situation below.

The planetary alert system had been partially restored, transmitting clear images back to the warship.

Although the planetary alert system was damaged, the warship had repair robots onboard which worked non-stop, day and night, collecting materials from wreckage and making repairs—provided they had enough materials.

Even the missing modular units on the Jin Gang-class warship could be repaired.

The captain frowned as he looked at the spaceship in the Pit, a slight look of disgust crossing his face before he issued a command.

The drone fighter made a pass before leaving. No matter how strong a country may appear, there’s always something hidden behind the gloss. Take Green Demon Planet for example. Even though the Military has taken control, certain ships still have special passage rights; this spaceship was one of them, because it carried a passcode.

The captain could see people swarming to board a ship that was 300 meters long and 100 meters wide. He could even see flashes of laser fire.

“Trash,” the female captain muttered, shaking her head in disdain. This kind of modified vessel could be taken down by a single wave of drone fighters.

But for the mechas and mutants, it was a force to be reckoned with.

Suddenly, the female captain’s eyes widened as she saw a mutant appear above the Pit, holding an enormous hammer. “Is this mutant out of his mind?”

“Yeah, below him is a spaceship,” someone commented.

    “Exactly,” another agreed.

Inside the warship’s main control room, many watched this scene, stunned.

That person was Yang Bo. He had initially been inside the Grey Ash Organization’s base, trying to check their escape routes. Who would have thought that they actually hid in the clouds of the Pit?

He quickly activated his Invisibility, sneaking out. At this point, the Pit was still covered in clouds, with a huge spaceship below and three laser cannons beneath the ship.

Yang Bo could have snuck aboard the warship, but explaining how a mutant got onboard would be tricky. Did he have some sort of special superpower?

Of course, if everyone onboard was killed, no one would question it.

Then there were the nearby mutants in the underground world. They’d surely wonder how Yang Bo found his way aboard.

So, Yang Bo stealthed again, rushing to the top of the Pit. He planned to launch a sneak attack from above the clouds…

But as soon as he arrived, he was caught off-guard—the clouds over the Pit were gone! What had caused that noise earlier?

Then, some good news: there were no laser cannons on the back of the spaceship…

He quickly returned to his previous location, transformed into a mutant wearing an Energy Suit, and leapt down, holding a bone hammer several meters long.

The Pit had a depth of almost 1,500 meters. The modified spaceship hovered around 30 meters above ground. Its system automatically identified those boarding it, with all defense and attack mechanisms fully automated.

Inside the spaceship, the Grey Ash Organization leader calmly monitored various incoming data, including reports on who boarded and the surrounding terrain. As for the bombs recently dropped by the warship, the leader showed no concern.

“Three minutes left,” the leader said, estimating that in three minutes, they could successfully retreat.

Furthermore, anyone who boarded the spaceship had to wear a special collar, which suppressed their superpowers.

The Grey Ash Organization leader was unaware that something had gone wrong within their base, so strict security measures were in place. Anyone unwilling to wear the collar was not permitted to board.

Just then, the spaceship’s alarm blared. The leader saw the sudden appearance of a mutant descending onto the ship.

The leader hastily issued commands, though internally shocked. How had someone appeared above the Pit so suddenly, despite the alert system?

A laser cannon quickly emerged from the spaceship, but it was too late. It took half a second for the cannon to activate, but Yang Bo had already reached the ship.

Yang Bo’s skin turned to metal. With his Energy Suit and incredibly high physical resistance, he leapt from the Pit, simultaneously activating Anti-Gravity. Combining gravity pull from the front and anti-gravity thrust from the back,

he shot toward the ship like a magnetic cannon round. In less than 0.5 seconds, he closed in, smashing his bone hammer onto the emerging laser cannon.

The laser cannon visibly sagged from the impact.

“Pfft!” One of the personnel in the Jin Gang-class warship’s control room spat out his drink in shock.

That was a laser cannon! What was holding it up? Some kind of tofu structure?

The moment Yang Bo’s feet hit the spaceship, he used his mechanic abilities to quickly gather the ship’s internal information.

Loud alarms echoed within the ship. The Grey Ash Organization leader stared at the alerts on the virtual screen—one of their laser turrets was damaged.

At this point, Yang Bo couldn’t completely override the ship’s permissions, nor could he if given the chance. But his ability allowed him to identify its weak points.

With another strike of his hammer, the laser turret flew off, smashing into the stone wall and embedding deeply.

The crew aboard the Jin Gang-class warship was left utterly shocked.

“Is this an A-Class mutant?” someone asked.

“I think it’s more like A+,” another replied.

The next second, an even more terrifying sight unfolded. The mutant delivered another hammer strike, creating a gaping hole in the spaceship’s side. Without hesitation, the mutant jumped inside.

The crew aboard the Jin Gang-class warship shuddered at the thought of such a terrifying being infiltrating their own ship.

“That’s a maintenance tunnel,” someone pointed out.

“A maintenance tunnel can be broken through that easily?” someone else said, unconvinced.
