Chapter Index

“And below 4500 meters in the Underground World, it’s absolutely a forbidden zone. There are many unimaginable beings down there we’re not even capable of thinking about.”

“Fortunately, those beings only adapt to the environment below, so they don’t come out. The mountains here are filled with powerful mutated beasts. Some move in packs, while others are solitary. I’ve seen mutated tigers that are seven or eight meters long and five or six meters tall.”

“The Alliance’s Mechs are like paper in front of these tigers, completely without any defensive power. Unless the warship’s laser cannon is used, but those tigers move quickly, disappearing into caves after attacking.”

“Moreover, these mutated tigers seem to be extremely valuable. The Alliance hasn’t used weapons like railguns to attack them!” Old Third Huang explained continuously.

Hearing Old Third Huang’s words, Yang Bo recalled that the Mecha game’s evaluation of Mutants wasn’t particularly high, and it mainly focused on hunting mutated beasts for rewards.

In other words, the mutated beasts on this planet are the main focus. The Mutants aren’t actually that important.

“This information is very useful to me. Do any of you know where other powerful mutated beasts are? Let me know.” Yang Bo asked bluntly.

Everyone started chiming in, and Yang Bo began recording. There were mentions of giant mutated tigers, massive mutated snakes, and even mutated gorillas.

“Actually, the surface cities and territories above ground are mainly used for farming or raising livestock. As for living, I suggest everyone continue living in caves.”

“As for the Alliance, who knows? After all, none of us have infiltrated it. What if everyone moves up to the surface and the Alliance wipes us all out with a railgun? It would be a huge problem.” Yang Bo said after gathering information.

“Also, you can have two or three tribes work together to establish a city. A city at least needs walls and other structures. A single tribe certainly can’t build it alone.”

“One city can cover a large area around it, which can be used for farming or raising livestock.”

“Think about it. Tens of thousands or even millions of square kilometers—can a single tribe guard that much by itself? Not just above ground, but also underground.” Yang Bo knew building a city wouldn’t be easy.

“It’s true. Initially, we planned to have the Alliance construct metal walls for us, but many animals on this planet like to chew on metal. So, we’ll have to use stone instead.”

“We also can’t adopt the Alliance’s laser cannon defense system. After all, the system belongs to them. Who knows if it might turn on us?”

“I think the idea is good. A city needs at least a few hundred people stationed in it, and the underground tribal homeland also needs guarding.” Some weaker tribal leaders found the suggestion feasible.

“You all should discuss it among yourselves, then talk to me about territory. I don’t think you need to aim for too much territory. It’s better to be familiar with the area. Even if I gave you a vast unfamiliar region, would you dare go there?” Yang Bo added.

“Alright, we’ll discuss it more.” Old Third Huang thought he could independently build a city, but most others lacked the strength. First of all, they didn’t have enough manpower.

Yang Bo led a group of Mutants up the mountain, waving to the Void as they ascended.

Soon, a drone fighter screeched in from the distance, hovering before Yang Bo and his group.

“How can I help you?” The Female Captain in space looked at Yang Bo’s group. It was this very group that had caused chaos within the Alliance.

“We’re here to report that the remnants of the Grey Ash Organization attempted to rescue their captured members. We’ve eliminated them all.” Yang Bo revealed.

The Female Captain could only respond, “We’ll report this up the chain.”

“Also, can you provide us with a map of the mutated beast distribution? When our tribe builds its city, we’ll avoid the mutated beasts. After all, these beasts are especially important to the Alliance.” Yang Bo tried to leverage the Alliance further. The military definitely had a more detailed map of the mutated beasts’ distribution.

“Otherwise, if a conflict arises because one of these mutated beasts is on our territory, I’m not sure how your laws handle that.” Yang Bo further explained.

“Understood, I will report this as well!” The Female Captain couldn’t make the final decision on this.

“We have over 200 pirates here, including two pirate leaders. We want to trade these guys for some supplies. How about it?” Yang Bo knew that the fleet commanders probably hated the pirates. This was a chance to earn some favor.

The Female Captain was a little surprised by this, and then her breathing quickened. “Deal!”

“We’ve already gotten full confessions from them. It’s more efficient for us to handle these things. We’re handing it all over to you.” Yang Bo understood that even after the pirates were handed over to the warship, they’d have many rights under the Alliance’s legal system.

So, the Mutants took it upon themselves to interrogate them first. Anything they should say, they said. For the things they didn’t, the Mutants used other methods.

“Thank you,” the Female Captain felt a strange touch of goodwill towards this Mutant as she said the words.

“Everyone, decide what supplies you need and make a list.” Yang Bo then addressed Old Third Huang and the others.

Old Third Huang and the others were thrilled. Many tribal leaders used to be part of civilized society and still missed many of the comforts from back then. This planet lacked such luxuries.

The people in the Fleet were stunned at the supplies the Mutants requested. Things like drinks, coffee, cigarettes, soda, and even sofas were on the list.

The warship’s stocks were relatively abundant, so while transporting the pirates, they delivered the supplies to the Mutants as well.

One-Eye and Bald Man, the two Pirate Leaders, looked terribly unhappy. They hadn’t expected to get caught by the Alliance. These past days had been a nightmare as the Mutants forced them to honestly confess their crimes. Refusing to cooperate meant immediate consequences.

Both of them confessed all the wrongs they’d done since childhood. They didn’t dare lie because the Mutants here didn’t bother with human rights and legal technicalities.

Not only did they confess, but they had to write everything down. Any dissatisfaction and they’d be hauled off for some more persuasion.

“So, these are the infamous Pirate Leaders.” The Female Captain looked at the two Pirate Leaders wearing collars, feeling immense satisfaction.

“We demand to be witnesses! We demand lawyers! We demand our basic human rights! We also demand protection for our families!” The two Pirate Leaders shouted. They had no choice but to become witnesses since they had already confessed and involved many high-ranking figures.

The Female Captain glanced at her furious subordinates and nodded. “Fine, but since the warship is damaged, the surveillance systems might malfunction occasionally…”

“No! This is illegal!” The two Pirate Leaders screamed in terror as they were dragged away by the warship soldiers.

Meanwhile, Yang Bo was thinking, “I should go check on Iron Bull and also upgrade my Charging Skill. It would be great if Iron Bull could raise cattle for me in the future…”
