Chapter Index

“Back to March Planet, I should think about how to improve the mecha. Can it become invisible?” Yang Bo was still considering modifying his mecha, as he had Metal Superpower and Mecha Repair skills.

“Or should I just build a new one? After all, what if I damage it during modification?” Upon thinking, Yang Bo had an even bolder idea.

Regarding whether it was illegal, well, the Alliance probably hasn’t banned personal mecha creation, right? There’s no law on Earth prohibiting personal rocket construction either, only on private gun ownership.

And what if I equipped a cannon, like one professor said? Farmers who build planes aren’t illegal, but flying them privately is.

“Plus, even if it’s a crime, they need evidence, right? Worst case, I’ll just flee. Many people on Earth committed crimes and fled abroad without being prosecuted.” Yang Bo had no fear of the Alliance, only of their railguns and warships.

When Yang Bo came to Iron Bull’s place, he found it piled up with stuff. Upon inspection, it was items from the spaceship.

“Is this the spaceship’s Central AI System?”

“Is this the maintenance robot’s AI?”

“What’s this?” Yang Bo looked at a pile of non-metal components and barely recognized a few objects.

Yang Bo turned his skin into metal and began touching each part. This mechanic mode was bizarre, allowing him to access machines’ permissions—spaceships, mechs, and such.

He noticed a small spark of electricity from his hand that connected to the standalone AI, granting him easy access to its permissions.

“Uh?” In that moment, Yang Bo realized that all mechanical devices needed electricity. His method of gaining access simply required power, and the permissions were his.

In other words, no matter the system or device, as long as it had power, he could seize control through the electricity.

    Unless there’s no power…

“Accessing permissions from the base level?” Yang Bo muttered. His mechanic mode was insanely powerful.

He wasn’t sure if this mechanic state was related to his Metal Superpower, Electricity Control, and Light Energy Control abilities.

“Huh, a communication key for the Grey Ash Organization? This is good.” Yang Bo found something valuable while scanning through the AI.

With this key, unless the Grey Ash Organization changed all their keys, he could monitor their communications at any time.

    “Rare Gene Injections’ experimental data?”

“Detailed mutation data from Green Demon Planet?”

Yang Bo found even more valuable intel, such as information and intelligence.

“Primary members of the Interstellar Pirates and their sales channels.”

“Main families of the Alliance, their business and political network?”

Yang Bo’s eyes widened. The Grey Ash Organization was indeed an intelligence powerhouse. Every piece had immense value.

There were even research materials from major institutions and organizations, but unfortunately, Yang Bo couldn’t understand most of it.

Much of it involved biological genes, though Yang Bo found the spaceship’s structural data stored in its Central AI and the detailed information in the maintenance robot’s AI far more interesting.

Spaceships primarily used fully automated maintenance robots, though maintenance personnel were still necessary in case of strong interference areas that required manual input.

Civilian spaceships carried fewer maintenance personnel, while warships had large crews because battles often involved electronic warfare.

Spaceship maintenance workers usually issued commands, leaving the specifics to the robots.

“If I had enough materials, I could build my own spaceship.” Yang Bo realized his idea was bold.

He stored all the items he found in a cave, as he couldn’t bring them with him.

Then, led by Iron Bull, Yang Bo visited the territory of the Trihorn Bulls. There were about two or three thousand of them.

Looking at his skill points, just over 1,600, Yang Bo knew he needed to defeat a few thousand more bulls to reach a mastery level.

In the end, Yang Bo killed over 300 bulls, raising his Charging Skill to 2,000 points. He still had 8,000 points to go for mastery.

After some discussion with Iron Bull, he understood that he was supposed to herd the bulls, so he nodded in agreement.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to kill more, but this would eventually be his territory. Wiping them out would leave him with nothing later.

Yang Bo pulled out his map and compared it to the Grey Ash Organization’s map, realizing there were more areas on this planet where Trihorn Bulls lived.

Bidding farewell to Iron Bull, he set out with a mech battery to continue hunting bulls and boosting his Charging Skill.

Every time he used Charge, his physique improved but consumed a lot of energy.

After half a month of running around, Yang Bo finally raised his Charging Skill to the mastery level.

He had killed thousands of Trihorn Bulls over half a month, always ensuring the species would survive because it would later take over 80,000 points to reach the grandmaster level. Worse, he couldn’t use his light or electricity abilities, fearing the Alliance’s drones would show up quickly.

Feeling his body brimming with strength, Yang Bo was very satisfied. His physical condition had improved significantly, with his energy storage multiplying by seven or eight times.

The stored energy in his body had increased more than tenfold, if counted in terms of electricity.

Bidding farewell to Iron Bull, Yang Bo rushed to meet the Mutants, wondering if the Alliance had made any decisions. By now, it should’ve been settled.

“Brother, you’re back? The Alliance gave us a map and told us we could choose our land.” The moment Yang Bo appeared, Old Third Huang and others rushed over to tell him.

Parliament moved quickly and granted the Mutants on Green Demon Planet the right to choose their territory, letting the Mutant Leader decide.

“Great.” Yang Bo joined the group. He had already claimed 250,000 square kilometers before, mainly to ensure the Iron Bull Tribe’s survival.

“Brother, where’s the land you mentioned earlier?” They unfolded the map and asked Yang Bo to choose first.

After scanning it for a while, Yang Bo pointed out a location and glanced at the other Mutants, who seemed relieved.

“Brother, take a look. We’ve already chosen our areas, and they don’t conflict with yours. How about you take all the remaining space?” Old Third Huang presented another map where the Mutants had already divided up the territory, suggesting Yang Bo claim the leftover space.

“This much land?” Yang Bo was surprised to see it was over 1 million square kilometers.
