Chapter Index

Yang Bo was observing outside the yacht. After the guy got on board, he shut the door and went into a room. Who knew what he was doing inside.

After waiting for about ten minutes, Yang Bo saw a middle-aged man in casual clothes head to the yacht’s cockpit and steer the yacht toward the shore.

The middle-aged man was unaware that there was now another person on his yacht. After the yacht docked, the staff at the Dock greeted him warmly, “Good evening, Mr. Robert!”

Robert, carrying a tackle box and some fishing rods, smiled and greeted them in return, “Good evening, Mr. Rosen. Thank you for your help.”

“Mr. Robert, the government recently issued a warning. Be careful out at sea.”

“Thanks, I saw it too, but I don’t think it’ll be a big problem.”

After some small talk with the staff, the middle-aged man left. Just when Yang Bo thought he was going to drive his car, the man started walking home instead.

“I wonder if that tackle box is full of his high-tech equipment,” Yang Bo muttered to himself.

Twenty minutes later, Yang Bo was a bit confused. “Isn’t this the place where I came to do my mission this afternoon? Is this old guy actually here to monitor me?”

The middle-aged man placed his fishing rods and tackle box into an auxiliary building, locked the door, then headed toward the main building.

He opened the door but didn’t go in immediately. He carefully inspected the marks he had left before entering.

Yang Bo didn’t follow him inside. He already knew this man lived there. Next time the guy comes to his place, he’ll deal with him, take his appearance, and walk in boldly to search for things.

“He’s probably from the Grey Ash Organization. I got their communication codes last time. I wonder if they’ve changed them,” Yang Bo thought as he headed home, invisible.

“If he’s from the Grey Ash Organization, he must be someone who hides deep in the shadows. That kind of person definitely has a lot of high-tech stuff, which I could use.”

“Should I change my door to make it easier for him to get in?” Yang Bo considered. Since he could turn invisible, he made his villa very secure when it was built.

Back at home, Yang Bo’s mind raced with ideas. He decided to wait for the man to come to him and then make a move. It would be easier to dispose of the body that way. When the man comes, Yang Bo has plenty of ways to cleanly eliminate him.

Afterward, he could impersonate the man, thoroughly search his home, and even take anything inconvenient to carry with him to the yacht, disappearing across the sea.

“Don’t let me down, man. You better have something good.” Yang Bo inwardly wished.

“I wonder if my underground bunker’s waste disposal system can destroy his body?”

“Maybe I could dump it in the deep sea. That should work,” Yang Bo decided, then went to sleep after making his plans.

All the doors in Yang Bo’s house were basically made from warship armor, and the air system was a closed-loop one.

Moreover, every time Yang Bo left the house, it seemed like he locked the door from the outside, but in reality, he used his Metal Superpower ability to lock it from the inside. It was entirely mechanical. To open the door, one would either have to violently destroy it or have the same Metal Superpower ability.

Regardless of who the man was, Yang Bo had no intention of reporting him to the government. There’s nothing better than quietly getting rich. As for Fat Boss, Yang Bo wasn’t planning to tell him either.

The next day, Yang Bo continued to go to the company to do his tasks as if nothing had happened.

However, after work, Yang Bo went to the supermarket and bought some fishing gear, as he had part of the sea near his villa under his own use rights.

The fish caught in the sea were partially edible, though there were also protected species. But if he fished at his own Dock, even if he took a protected fish home to eat, as long as the officials didn’t find out, nothing would happen.

Still, you could never be sure. If you fished at the Dock, there might be surveillance equipment somewhere that would catch you putting a protected species into your tackle box, and then you’d have to see how the government handles you.

Yang Bo bought the fishing gear mainly as a cover. After all, if he got some valuables from the other man’s place, he needed a legitimate way to bring them home. He’d figure out the details later.

“I don’t know when the guy will show up. If this drags on, it’ll mess up my inland plans.” The following night, Yang Bo waited at home all night, but the man didn’t appear.

The next morning, Yang Bo suddenly realized, “That guy’s gonna have to sail the yacht out when he comes for me. Once I see his yacht on the water, that means he’s coming for me.”

After work that afternoon, Yang Bo carefully looked out to sea but didn’t see the yacht. He felt disappointed.

On Saturday, Yang Bo showed up at the company. But today, he didn’t take any missions. Fat Boss had purchased more pharmaceutical materials again.

“Yang Bo, I bought twenty portions of materials this time. Ten for the first formula, and ten for the second. Are you going to make them at home or here?” At the company, Fat Boss called Yang Bo into his office, poured him a cup of tea, and asked.

Yang Bo took a sip of tea before responding. “Boss, we have a partnership deal. I’ll make the medicines here since you’re paying for them.”

“There’s really nothing to worry about,” Fat Boss beamed upon hearing Yang Bo’s words. This was how cooperation should be.

Fat Boss wouldn’t mind if Yang Bo took the medicines home to make them, though he would feel a bit anxious about it.

“Let’s go to the lab after finishing our tea,” Fat Boss suggested.

Yang Bo nodded, and after drinking his tea, he followed Fat Boss to the lab.

The lab equipment was ready. Yang Bo, without needing any prompting from Fat Boss, put on a protective suit and began his work.

Within three minutes, the first Gene Serum was complete. Fat Boss eagerly grabbed the spectrometer to check the results.

“Four stars!” Fat Boss let out a sigh of relief. He had been anxious these past few days, unsure how long Yang Bo could maintain his current standard. A talent like him was unheard of, though perhaps that was due to secrecy.

After the second injection, Fat Boss checked it with excitement. “Another four stars!”

In less than an hour, Fat Boss stared at the ten neatly lined-up Gene Injections, all rated four stars. He felt numb. How could such a genius exist? “Yang Bo, why don’t you watch a video to prepare for the new formula?” For the next ten portions, which used a different formula, Fat Boss suggested.

“Boss, I’ve already watched it. Let’s just give it a try,” Yang Bo replied, finding no need to watch it again. Watching the video didn’t seem connected to success when mixing medicines. It was all about following the order of ingredients.
