Chapter Index

Mach 25 is roughly equivalent to 8,500 meters per second. The energy metal storm controlled by Yang Bo had a diameter of about 15 meters.

With a diameter of 15 meters, the outermost circumference was approximately 47 meters. The metal fragments within the storm revolved around Yang Bo at a speed of 180 rotations per second according to this calculation.

This was actually a new method Yang Bo had just developed with the gravity field.

When entering the mountain crevice, Yang Bo was originally going to use the debris from several unmanned crawler mechas as hypersonic fragments to assault the targets.

But then, he had a sudden flash of inspiration, realizing this new attack pattern required no lock-on or individual control of the metal fragments.

All he needed to do was unleash a field with his superpower, continually applying force to the fragments inside, causing them to move swiftly around his body.

The ordinary Anti-Government Fighters caught in the metal storm left nothing behind.

Though the Anti-Government Fighters had drones and unmanned mechas, Yang Bo was locked in close combat with them.

Both the drones and the mechas had a self-recognition system. Thus, the laser cannons on the crawler unmanned mechas swung aimlessly and did not fire again.

The Bounty Hunter Guild members, seeing this, finally reacted, firing their laser weapons continuously.

First, they targeted the drones and mechas. A single laser gun wasn’t enough to deestroy them.

But when three or four laser guns focused on one drone or mecha, the target would be disabled instantly.

The communication channel of the cyborgs erupted in chatter. They were called the Special Forces by the Anti-Government Fighters and had high status among them.

Since each cyborg could revive multiple times, their combat experience was vast.

They were veterans of countless battles, and with technological advancements, the hardware in their bodies was constantly optimized.

The Anti-Government Fighters lacked such seasoned veterans, so their status was naturally high.

Yang Bo’s main targets were the cyborgs, so he paid no mind to ordinary fighters.

The metal storm created by Yang Bo shattered everyone’s perception. In an instant, 5 of the 14 cyborgs were killed.

Cyborgs were full of high-tech. They could control drones and mechas through wireless networks.

Their high-tech eyes tracked targets faster and had a built-in radar function, plus internal batteries installed.

In this rocky crevice, the battlefield environment greatly influenced the outcome.

The remaining nine cyborgs scattered instantly, firing their weapons at Yang Bo.

Meanwhile, all the members of the Bounty Hunter Guild jumped out, continually shooting their laser weapons.

The regular Anti-Government soldiers were blown apart by laser gunfire.

The other cyborgs all started gaining control over nearby drones and unmanned mechas within a certain range.

Cyborgs could control allied drones and unmanned mechas wirelessly within a specific range.

The drones controlled by the cyborgs flew toward the outside of the crevice, clearly intending to relay information to the warships outside.

However, Yang Bo had anticipated this. With a thought, a portion of the metal fragments from the metal storm split off.

In the narrow confines of the mountain crevice, the fragments quickly formed a death storm, blowing the escaping drones to smithereens.

At this moment, the remaining unmanned spider mechas on the ground opened fire at Yang Bo.

These unmanned spider mechas were being controlled by the cyborgs, which was no different from how mechas needed Mecha Pilots to operate them.

Intelligent systems operate within a certain environment. The first requirement is that they cannot be jammed.

The second is that the algorithm must not be compromised, or the system could be hacked to attack its own side.

Third, in chaotic situations like this, intelligent systems cannot make accurate judgments.

The laser cannons of the unmanned spider mechas were powerful, but against the mass of metal fragments around Yang Bo’s body, they merely created dazzling sparks.

Yang Bo was unharmed. With a wave of his hand, a stream of metal fragments instantly enveloped two cyborgs.

The two cyborgs tried to dodge Yang Bo’s attack, but unfortunately, they were in the narrow confines of the mountain crevice.

The metal stream struck the two cyborgs, and their screams filled the communication channel as they lost all combat capabilities.

Although their torsos had protective gear, other parts of their bodies did not. Their arms and legs were a mix of biological and mechanical parts.

Their high-tech eyes somehow sparked with electricity. One of their eyes glowed brighter and brighter until the cyborg removed it himself.

The eyeball had overheated after its energy system malfunctioned, as if it had short-circuited.

“Incredible!” The Bounty Hunter Guild members were utterly in awe of Yang Bo.

“What kind of superpower do you think Third Master has?” someone asked in the communication channel.

 “Feels like magnetism to me.”

“Why do I think it’s gravity?”

“Couldn’t it be the special ability of an A+ level gene evolver?”

“It’s said that once you reach A+ level, you can awaken a second or even third superpower.”

“Those cocky cyborgs made me sick, and now five of them are down!”

“With someone like this Master on March Planet, we don’t have to worry about being bullied anymore.”

“I wonder if this Master lives on our planet?”

“That depends on the President. If the President can make him stay, our missions will be so much easier.”

Just as Yang Bo was being bombarded by kamikaze drones, the President of the Bounty Hunter Guild tossed two electromagnetic bombs, knocking two cyborgs unconscious instantly.

The drones over the sea exploded from the electromagnetic wave impact.

Inside the dark mountain crevice, it was suddenly lit up like a festival.

Humanity is so small in the universe, having little defense against its own creations.

The short burst of electromagnetic energy from the bombs is lethal to any organism, though the extent depends on the dosage.

The remaining cyborgs weren’t fools. After splitting up, they gathered back together swiftly.

Cyborgs communicated through neural networks and the wireless system, allowing them to act without talking. They just thought, and the information was exchanged.

The cyborgs huddled together and rushed for the crevice exit while sending all their drones toward Yang Bo’s metal storm.

Faced with hundreds of drones, Yang Bo focused his mind. The metal storm surrounding his body surged toward the cyborgs and drones.

The cyborgs, seeing this, controlled what remaining crawler mechas they had, making them leap and self-destruct.

Hundreds of drones and a dozen crawler mechas exploded, slowing down the speed of Yang Bo’s metal storm.

Thus, the cyborgs successfully fended off Yang Bo’s attack for the moment.

Just when the cyborgs thought they might escape the crevice, their faces changed drastically. They stopped, frozen in place.

Because, yet again, countless metal fragments hovered around Yang Bo’s body.

The armor on Yang Bo’s suit glowed faintly, and the Energy Weapon in his hand seemed like an ornament as irregular metal fragments floated within 15 meters around him.

“We surrender! We demand to be treated as prisoners of war…!” The remaining five cyborgs spoke on the public channel.

 “Shameless!”

“You Anti-Government Fighters have the nerve to mention the Alliance?” A Bounty Hunter Guild member shouted angrily over the channel.

“We request war prisoner treatment! Even though we’re Anti-Government Fighters, we have rights, you know. It’s our right.” A cyborg, defiant, somehow rationalized.

“You don’t qualify for prisoner treatment. The Alliance doesn’t recognize the cyborgs’ status!” The President of the Bounty Hunter Guild finally spoke.

“Whether we qualify isn’t up to you. It requires a court ruling.” The cyborg responded, seemingly confident.

“Are you cyborgs all insane? Do you know who we are? We’re illegal in the eyes of the Alliance!” Yang Bo had no intention of letting the cyborgs go. These were prime material to enhance his Metal Superpower. With a sneer, he waved his hand.

 “Shameless.”

“Didn’t the Alliance promise we would get proper treatment if we surrendered?” The cyborgs, realizing Yang Bo was about to act, desperately shouted as they ran for the crevice exit.

The countless high-speed metal fragments once again enveloped the few retreating cyborgs.

This time, the metal fragments weren’t fast enough, leaving only one cyborg in a miserable state, his body visibly losing flesh.

The others had barely dodged the metal storm, only to be hit the next second by a high-speed shadow.

 Impact!

Yang Bo had used the ‘Impact’ skill. The remaining cyborgs were smashed into the rock wall.

 “Damn!”

 “Third Master is amazing!”

“I think Third Master was just practicing his superpower.”

“Yeah, if he had used this move at the start, in such a confined space, all those enemies would’ve been sent flying immediately!” The Bounty Hunter Guild members hadn’t expected Yang Bo to have such a move, where he ricocheted like a bouncing ball, smashing into enemies. In less than a second, five cyborgs were thrown all over the place.

 Third Master is incredible, indeed!
