Chapter Index

Yang Bo expressed his innocence, saying this time it really was just luck. After all, he had already found plenty before.

“Yang Bo, do you have something going with Lady Luck?” The Fat Boss was speechless. The four of them had been smashing rocks all around, yet not a single Energy Stone had appeared.

Yang Bo casually smashed a rock, and there was an Energy Stone. Furthermore, this Energy Stone seemed to be of higher quality.

“Boss, I feel that every time I’m with you, nothing good happens. At the Domed Music Festival, we encountered the Extremists. Then following you to immigrate, we met Pirates. Now doing this mission, we run into the Anti-Government Fighters.” Yang Bo said this half-jokingly.

He quickly picked up the Energy Stone since the one who found it gets 50% of its value. The Captain gets a 10% commission, and the remainder gets split evenly between the rest, except for the finder. The Captain’s 10% is extra, meaning the remaining 40% is also up for grabs.

“Yang Bo, this is a good thing. Risk and reward come together. I’ve gone on more than ten missions with the boss, and most have had minimal returns.”

“Exactly. We’re doing these missions for money. As long as we can make money, a little risk is acceptable.”

“I think Yang Bo’s luck is even better this time. Our minimum earnings should be over a billion.”

    “That’s a Longevity Energy Stone!”

The Fat Boss laughed heartily upon hearing this from Yang Bo. “Yang Bo, you’re wrong about that. Sure, you’ve faced risk while following me, but you’ve also moved into a billion-credit villa.”

“Let’s keep searching.” The Fat Boss said, immediately returning to his task.

After that, Yang Bo became a bit more cautious, and as expected, his yield lessened. The others also made some gains, though they were minimal.

“This mine is extremely valuable. Just the information fees alone could sell for billions.” The Fat Boss was ecstatic. The mine contained more Longevity Energy Stones than expected, and he could make a fortune just selling the intel.

“I wonder what’s going on outside.” Someone from the team asked.

“Does it really matter? There’s nothing we can do about it.” The Fat Boss had seen through things.

“That Third Master from the Bounty Hunter Guild has probably set a new record for downing Warplanes.” Zhou Zheng commented.

“He’s at least an A-level Gene Evolver. He might be even higher.”

“Who is this guy? A powerhouse like him should be famous.” The team members started discussing amongst themselves.

The Fat Boss and Yang Bo remained silent. Yang Bo thought that if given another chance, he could perform even better.

Hearing his subordinates talk, the Fat Boss muttered inwardly, “Why wouldn’t he be famous? He’s a notorious Pirate Leader.”

But the Fat Boss couldn’t say that out loud. He wasn’t even sure where the Pirate Leader was now.

What puzzled the Fat Boss even more was how the Pirate Leader had escaped and showed up here. Did this have something to do with whoever was originally mining the Energy Stones?

The Fat Boss’s head began to hurt. If the Pirate Leader recognized him, he wasn’t sure if they would settle the score.

“He’s definitely not a good person. But there are too many hidden powerhouses in this world. Let’s avoid provoking anyone unnecessarily.” The Fat Boss finally spoke, responding to the team’s discussion.

“Not a good person, for sure. Sneaky too.”

“Boss, did you rip off the Bounty Hunter Guild?”

The Fat Boss heard Zhou Zheng’s words and confidently replied, “Who told them to fleece us first? We had to pay millions of credits to fly their Warplanes back to March Planet. Everyone’s out here for money, not feelings.”

“Boss, maybe it was a woman.” Zhou Zheng teased.

“Hard to say. I know someone who turns into a woman every time they take on a mission. On the outside, she’s fair-skinned, beautiful, with long legs, but in reality, he’s a bearded man.” Wu Bing interrupted.

“There are too many people like that, and after using some injectors, their psychology changes too. Some men start thinking they’re women, and they start liking other women.”

“Yang Bo, when you go looking for a woman, make sure to have a Camouflage Serum ready. She could turn out to be a man.” Zhou Zheng joked.

“Is it really that twisted?” Yang Bo knew it was true, but he still asked.

“A lot of people take on missions in Camouflage, especially with illegal organizations like the Bounty Hunter Guild. Most won’t reveal their real faces.”

“Although most just transform into men to men, it’s hard to fake how you speak and act. But some perverts really like turning into the opposite gender.”

“Some men turn into women for the worst reasons, while others do it to take advantage of others. These illegal organizations are pretty chaotic. Our Company may do some shady business, but it’s not that messy.”

“We’re registered at the Alliance. If we get caught, it’ll be a problem. Camouflage Injectors are illegal after all.” Wu Bing explained.

    “Got it.” Yang Bo replied.

“Yang Bo, when you look for a girl, make sure she’s weaker than you. Like me, I have three wives. My first wife begged me to find two more. Never find a woman stronger than you. If you can’t satisfy her, she’ll look for someone else, and you won’t be able to beat him.”

“The Azure Blue Empire is better for that. Just go on vacation there. With money, you can get any kind of woman.”

“Especially some women with Slave Chips. Once you give the order, they’ll cooperate with anything you ask.”

“Yang Bo, now that you’ve hit it big, you should buy some property in the Azure Blue Empire and pick up a few noblewomen slaves while you’re at it.”

“Buying these slave women is way better than trying to raise a family through Gene Serum.”

“Yang Bo’s probably made billions this time!”

“But the Azure Blue Empire is dangerous too. The nobles there have a lot of privileges. Some of our women have gone there for vacation, only to be taken by nobles on the spot.”

“They even snatch men. Their nobles are perverted and prefer men.”

“The reason they like men is because their elites educate their children by not allowing them to interact with women before adulthood. As a result, some of them end up preferring male company.”

“The Crimson Federation is even stranger. Each of their administrative planets has its own unique laws, something legal on one planet might be forbidden on another.”

A group of men in the communication channel kept chatting, and inevitably, the topic shifted toward women.

When it came to women, Yang Bo… well, he felt like maybe he had grown used to being single in his previous life.

Even though he didn’t mind a one-night romance, he just didn’t know how to start.

“Do these seasoned pros have any tips?” Yang Bo wondered.

Meanwhile, outside the mine, the members of the Bounty Hunter Guild saw their President exiting and asked curiously, “President, what were those guys doing in there?”

“They were searching for Energy Stones.” The President’s voice rang out over the communication channel.

    “Haha!”

“Those guys must have lost their minds trying to strike it rich!”

“Yeah, statistically speaking, getting 5 grams of Energy Stones from 100 tons of ore is considered good.”

“Look at their team! Even people wearing Heavy-Duty Protective Gear came for this adventure.”

“They really must be out of their minds about money.”

“The Bounty Hunter Guild is way more professional.”

The channel of the Bounty Hunter Guild buzzed with laughter and chatter.

The President was at a loss for words. If he hadn’t witnessed it himself, he wouldn’t believe someone could be so lucky.

Moreover, it was clear those people knew exactly where the Life Energy Stone was, which is why they were desperately digging in the mine.

In other words, they already had at least one other Life Energy Stone.

That meant that each of the five of them would receive at least 20 million, maybe more.

“It must be the guys in Heavy-Duty Protective Gear who discovered the stones. The boss of An Zhijie’s branch probably got his information from them. In other words, the Heavy-Duty guy’s earnings are at least a billion.” The President quickly pieced things together.

“And judging by the looks of it, this person is highly valued by An Zhijie’s branch boss.”

“Once we get back, it’ll be easy to figure out who this guy is.” The President of the Bounty Hunter Guild was doing his own calculations.

The President looked up at the Void and saw what seemed to be a dazzling meteor shower–these were the energy trails from the Warplanes firing and flying.

Occasionally, a brilliant flash marked a Warplane exploding.

Six Warships were split into two factions. One Warship seemed to have joined the Anti-Government Fighters. Both sides were exchanging blinding laser fire in the pitch-black Void.

Wreckage from destroyed Warplanes kept falling onto the Planet as they were pulled in by the Planet’s gravity.

Without an atmosphere to burn them up, these fragments fell unimpeded onto the surface.

From afar, many Warplanes fell onto the Planet. As for whether the Planet could be hit by the lasers from the Warships,

That was possible. But for humans, it made no difference. By the time you saw a laser, you wouldn’t be able to avoid it.

Right now, the lasers from the Warships that everyone could see in the Void had, in fact, been fired several seconds earlier. The scene playing out happened seconds ago.

So everyone stood there because there was no point. They couldn’t hide or escape even if they tried.

“Another Warship has appeared! What are these Alliance geezers up to?”

    “Two Warships!”

“These two Warships look unfamiliar. They mustn’t be Alliance standard ships.”

“It’s over. The Alliance Warships are definitely doomed.”

“Are we going to be captured by the Anti-Government Fighters?”

Hearing the team’s concerns, the President’s heart skipped a beat because after using the injectors, he looked like a man. If he got captured by the Anti-Government Fighters, once the effect wore off, he’d revert into a woman. For women, especially those with Superpowers, the Anti-Government Fighters would turn them into breeding machines, forcing them to bear children, not just for one man but for many.
