Chapter Index

These guys are all crazy. Yang Bo definitely didn’t want to oppose them. Moreover, Yang Bo suspected they had infiltrated the military. If they really controlled the fleet, things would get messy.

“Let’s get into the game to boost my power first. Once property trades open, I’ll take a look at my Razor Mecha. I haven’t even looked it over properly.” Yang Bo couldn’t do much right now. He had discovered that civilians were allowed to leave the planet, but special chairs were required, and only private spacecraft were equipped with them.

Yang Bo entered the game, deciding to level up his camouflage. Could he completely transform into someone else? While under the threat of Red Earl, Liu Zhijie watched angrily while cursing under his breath.

On the surface, the An Zhijie Corporation seemed to operate under a franchise model, but in reality, it was more like an agent-based system. In other words, the territory granted by the headquarters depended on how many people Liu Zhijie had under him.

The extremist rhetoric of the Red Earl had everyone in a state of panic, especially since the planet extended its lockdown. Many powerful figures wanted to leave, but it was a hassle—while private spacecraft were allowed, the application and review process was a nightmare.

Plus, these people hadn’t dealt with their assets yet. They were reluctant to just leave like that.

What frustrated Liu Zhijie even more was that the company couldn’t operate normally, meaning he was going to lose a lot. Recruiting wasn’t going well either. The locals barely seemed to care about the Red Earl threat.

With no business and employees growing anxious, money was needed on all fronts.

“Damn it, if this doesn’t work out, I’ll apply to move elsewhere. I don’t want to stay in this cursed place anymore.” Liu Zhijie directly contacted the headquarters to ask whether there were other planets with available territories so he could move.

It wasn’t just Liu Zhijie—many companies were already preparing to relocate. The Red Earl had lost a general here and would surely seek revenge. If he came again, everyone would perish—those Red Earl people were maniacs.

Yet, this idiot Yang Bo was still planning to buy a house. But Yang Bo entered the game.

“Where should I go?” Yang Bo looked at the data the base had provided. The Lake was not an option—he had killed some people there. Same with the Bats—there were bodies there too.

“Guess I’ll head to the Underground Entrance.” Yang Bo remembered being annihilated by ranged Mechas during his training and was now uneasy about wide-open spaces.

The Underground Entrance was the gateway leading to underground caves, where mutant beasts and mutants prowled.

Yang Bo brought along four mini hydrogen bombs and four shockwave bombs. He planned to always keep two bombs on him, to go out in a blaze of glory if necessary.

Given the tight space in the underground world, if he ran into serious trouble, he could always take them down with him.

“What a shame I don’t have more money.”

“If I had more, I’d just strap myself with mini hydrogen bombs and blast my way into the mutant lair.”

“Heh heh.” Grinning to himself, Yang Bo continued on, daydreaming as he walked.

The mutants’ stronghold was well hidden. If anyone knew its location, an orbital cannon would have already annihilated it.

Yang Bo arrived smoothly at the Underground Entrance, feeling a bit sentimental. This was where he would make his fortune. This time, his focus was training camouflage.

Upon entering, Yang Bo decided to stay on the first level—there was no way he was going to the second.

Yang Bo glanced at the narrow passageways around him, then checked the bombs strapped to him. His Mecha’s left-hand energy shield was on his back, while he held a mini hydrogen bomb in one hand and a plasma blade in the other.

He was ready to toss the hydrogen bomb and flee at any moment.

Slowly, he began exploring. His first task was to find a lair with larger animals.

What Yang Bo didn’t know was that shortly after he left the base, Mutants had already taken notice of him. Tiger-Faced King’s bounty was enticing, and as Yang Bo hadn’t appeared in some time, Tiger-Faced King’s subordinates were getting restless.

The underground passages branched out in all directions. When Tiger-Faced King’s men saw Yang Bo enter the Underground Entrance from afar, one of them immediately rushed back to report.

After receiving the news, Tiger-Faced King passed it along the chain of command, and soon many mutants began converging through the underground tunnels.

However, they made one miscalculation, thinking Yang Bo was in the second or lower levels. After all, nothing worthwhile lived on the first level.

Yang Bo, meanwhile, realized he was lost. The radar wasn’t working well in the underground passages, and he had gotten careless from relying on it too much.

The further he went, the stranger things felt, but when he turned back, he couldn’t retrace the Mecha’s tracks. Some places were flooded.

Boom! Suddenly, there was a loud explosion, which startled Yang Bo. The ground shook, scattering small animals in all directions.

“What just exploded?” Yang Bo wondered, confused about the cause.

It was actually Mechas on the second and third levels clashing with Tiger-Faced King’s men. They had come in search of Yang Bo and just happened to run into these Mechas.

Yang Bo hesitated for a moment before quickly running in the opposite direction of the explosion. He wasn’t looking to profit off the fight, nor did he want to risk damaging his Mecha—it would cost him a fortune in repairs.

Boom! Another explosion followed from the same direction, shaking the ground once more. Yang Bo felt fortunate. Whatever it was, it couldn’t be anything good.

Yang Bo purposely walked through flooded areas to cover his tracks, but he ended up even more lost. He was walking down what seemed like a large tunnel, only for it to dead-end.

Boom! “That’s the eighth explosion. Who’s this unlucky? Are they surrounding some formidable mutant beast?” The sound traveled far underground, amplifying Yang Bo’s concerns.

“Huh?” Suddenly, something caught Yang Bo’s eye—a sinkhole, though that wasn’t what mattered.

The sinkhole was shrouded in mist, and below, in the jungle, he saw herds of cattle. They looked similar to Earth’s cattle but lacked horns.

Yang Bo zoomed in and realized their horns seemed to have been sawed off.

“Could they belong to the Mutants?” Yang Bo used his radar to scan the area before turning it off, carefully studying the data it had captured.

“One thousand two hundred and twenty-one head of cattle.” Yang Bo stared at the number, practically drooling. These cattle could boost his physique significantly—if he killed them all, he’d be as strong as Superman!

“But where are the mutants?” Yang Bo carefully scanned the sinkhole. It was nearly 80 kilometers in diameter, but he couldn’t see the sky or gauge its depth. His Mecha was about 30 meters above the ground.

Yang Bo continued scanning. The radar wasn’t effective against some mutants, and others were sensitive to radar waves.

    An hour passed. Then another.

Yang Bo was getting anxious. Were there really no guards for this massive herd?

Just then, he spotted a flash of silver. Zooming in, he saw a person carrying a five-meter-long Mecha arm. That must’ve weighed at least ten tons! The figure, clad in black Energy Suit and standing nearly three meters tall, carried it effortlessly.

His face looked like a pig’s—he resembled Earth’s Zhu Bajie, played by a famous actor.

Then came a second, a third, a fourth, and a fifth figure, all carrying different Mecha parts—legs, arms, a head.

“Wow, that Mecha must’ve cost a fortune.” Yang Bo murmured to himself.

Suddenly, there was a low sound. Immediately, the hornless cattle began moving in unison toward a specific direction.

“What kind of technique is this? Beast mastery or reflex conditioning?” Yang Bo’s eyes widened as he saw one of the mutants blowing into something.
