Chapter Index

Mist swirled around, mysterious and unfathomable.

Following the winding path deeper inward, a towering peak gradually came into view, piercing the clouds and seemingly suspended in midair.

This majestic and awe-inspiring mountain was none other than the renowned Little Ting Peak!

Little Ting Peak stood apart from other mountains with its unique charm, impossible to ignore.

Snow blanketed its slopes year-round, cloaking it in pristine white as if draped in a thick layer of cotton, evoking a sense of sacred solemnity.

Yet amidst this icy wonderland, countless peach trees thrived.

Each spring, their branches burst into a riot of colorful blossoms, like pink clouds floating among the mountains.

The delicate peach petals, vivid against the snowy backdrop, shone with a captivating brilliance, drawing anyone who saw them into a trance of admiration.

A gentle spring breeze would send the petals drifting down in a dreamlike shower of flowers.

The air carried a faint floral fragrance, refreshing the soul. Practicing cultivation here could yield twice the results with half the effort.

Thus, Little Ting Peak became the most coveted mountain for Outer Sect disciples to join, though it was also one of the most feared…

At this moment, eight figures slowly approached the base of Little Ting Peak. They were none other than Bai Shishi and Tang San’s group.

“Wow! Take a look at this! The mountain before us will be our new home!”

Bai Shishi gazed at Little Ting Peak with a long-lost smile tugging at her lips.

Hearing her words, Tang San and the others tilted their heads upward. When the true visage of Little Ting Peak came into focus, their eyes widened in shock.

“This place is stunning! It feels like stepping into a snow-covered wonderland. And the scent from those peach trees up there—it’s incredible!”

“This world is absolutely breathtaking! Far more magnificent than the one we came from. Just thinking about living here gets my heart racing!”

“Indeed. Standing here even for a moment brings such a sense of peace. My mind feels clearer already!”

Zhu Zhuqing stepped forward, turning to Bai Shishi with a question. “Senior Sister Bai, why don’t we see any other disciples around?”

“Huh?” Bai Shishi froze for a second before scratching her head awkwardly. “To be honest, despite how massive Little Ting Peak is, it’s just me here.”

    “What?” Zhu Zhuqing’s jaw dropped.

    “What?!”

Tang San and the others were equally dumbfounded. A place as vast as Little Ting Peak, and yet Bai Shishi was its sole inhabitant? The revelation hit them like a thunderbolt.

Bai Shishi let out a sigh. How she wished for more companions on Little Ting Peak.

Ever since the peak was established, aside from Su Mei and herself, every new disciple who experienced the bone-chilling cold of this place would pack their bags and leave the very next day…

Over time, Little Ting Peak was left with just the two of them, lonely souls in an endless expanse…

She couldn’t let these new junior brothers and sisters slip away. She’d had enough of those solitary days!

What did it matter to be the founding Senior Sister? She didn’t care about titles. All she wanted was companionship. Taking a deep breath, she flashed an impossibly sweet smile.

“Ahem! My dear junior brothers and sisters, no need to be so alarmed. Think about it—don’t you still have your Senior Sister here?” Bai Shishi patted her chest reassuringly.

Tang San and the others exchanged glances, silently communicating before nodding in unison.

“Senior Sister Bai has a point. But… how do we get up there?” Xiao Wu asked, her tone laced with curiosity.

Bai Shishi blinked, her lips curving into a grin. “You mean getting up? It’s simple. Just watch this!”

With everyone’s eyes on her, Bai Shishi raised a single finger and casually traced a few patterns in the air.

    “Rumble!”

A brand-new cloud ladder materialized before them.

Ma Hongjun’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. “I… holy crap! That’s all it takes? Unbelievable! Senior Sister Bai, you’re amazing!”

“Alright, let’s head up.” Bai Shishi shook her head with a chuckle and stepped onto the cloud ladder.

“Xiao Wu, shall we go up too?” Ning Rongrong glanced at her friend.

“Sure!” Xiao Wu grabbed Ning Rongrong’s hand, and together they approached the ladder.

“Haha! I’ll take the lead then!” Oscar stepped onto the ladder, flicking his bangs with a smirk.

“Little San, let’s go up as well.” Dai Mubai clapped Tang San on the shoulder.

“Yeah, let’s go, Boss Dai.” Tang San nodded, gesturing for him to go first.

And so, the group ascended the cloud ladder to the summit of Little Ting Peak. But upon seeing the scene before them, they froze in place, utterly stunned.

The mountain didn’t look like a mountain, and the water didn’t seem like water.

All they could see was an endless expanse of white snow, radiating an intense, biting chill.

Caught off guard, the group shivered uncontrollably, their teeth chattering as the cold seeped into their bones.

It felt as if they’d turn into ice sculptures at any moment…

“Did we come to the wrong place? This feels like an ice cavern!” Ma Hongjun hugged himself tightly, trembling.

“Achoo! I think so too. Is this really a place for people to live?” Dai Mubai sneezed, casting a doubtful glance around.

Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong, fighting the cold, turned to Bai Shishi with quivering voices.

“Senior Sister Bai, did we take a wrong turn? It’s freezing! How are we supposed to stay here? We’ll turn into ice statues soon…”

“Yeah, Senior Sister, shouldn’t we head back down for now? It’s way too cold…”

Seeing their shivering forms, realization finally dawned on Bai Shishi.

“Hold on a second! I’ll grab something for you. Be right back!” She smacked her forehead in frustration and dashed into a nearby palace.

Moments later, she emerged from the grand structure, clutching seven fur-lined winter coats in her arms.

“Sorry about that. I completely forgot you haven’t started cultivating yet and can’t withstand this cold. Put these on for now.”

Bai Shishi approached the group with an embarrassed look, handing out the coats.

The seven of them eagerly took the fur-lined winter coats and slipped them on without hesitation.

“Ahh, finally warming up.” Ma Hongjun let out a relieved sigh, his face easing into a look of contentment.

Tang San glanced at the coat draped over him, a thoughtful expression crossing his face as he stepped forward.

“By the way, Senior Sister Bai, when do we start our formal cultivation?”

Bai Shishi paused for a moment before smiling softly. “If you’re eager to cultivate, well, we can start right now!”

    “Awesome!”

Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu exchanged an excited high-five.

“Oh, one more thing. Take out the rings the Peak Master gave you recently. Inside, you’ll find the cultivation techniques you need to start with.” Bai Shishi’s eyes lit up.

    “Got it!”

The seven nodded in unison, swiftly retrieving the rings they wore.

Following Bai Shishi’s guidance, they successfully accessed the low-grade spirit stones and cultivation techniques stored within the rings. Without delay, each of them embarked on their personal cultivation journey.

Time flew by, and nightfall crept in silently.

In just a few hours of comprehension, relying on their awakened extraordinary talents, the seven effortlessly grasped the basics of their entry-level techniques.

Not stopping there, they seized the momentum and broke through to the first level of the Sword Practitioner Realm!

However, Tang San clearly outshone the rest.

Blessed with unparalleled talent and a monstrous physique, he showcased his exceptional potential, surging ahead with astonishing speed to break through to the third level of the Sword Practitioner Realm!

His achievements far surpassed those of the other six.
