Chapter Index

But Dahuang clearly overestimated his own shield and underestimated the power of these Fiends.

The scene was packed with Fiends—twenty million at the Saint rank, ten million at the Emperor rank, and leading them all, the Fiend King at the peak of the Tenth Heaven, an Otherworldly Immortal!

The Fiend King was just a step away from the legendary Otherworldly God Realm, but that single step was a deadly gap.

He was stuck at the Immortal stage for life, but even so, he remained the strongest of all Alien Race in the entire Cosmic Void.

[Alien Race Unified Classifications: Rank 1 – Otherworldly Soldier, Rank 2 – Otherworldly Warrior, Rank 3 – Otherworldly Knight, Rank 4 – Otherworldly General, Rank 5 – Otherworldly King, Rank 6 – Otherworldly Emperor, each with nine sublevels.]

[Rank 7 – Otherworldly Saint, Rank 8 – Otherworldly Emperor, Rank 9 – Otherworldly Immortal, Rank 10 – Otherworldly God, each split into Lower, Middle and Upper stages.]

Dahuang had set up nine hundred and ninety-nine protective shields, but under the full-force onslaught from the entire Outerworld Fiends, those shields didn’t stand a chance.

    With a loud ‘boom!’

The shield was as fragile as paper—it shattered the moment it was hit.

    Dahuang roared, “No! Big Brother!!”

“It’s done!” The Fiend King’s heart leapt with joy.

Suddenly, the giant egg unleashed a crackling sound, and out of nowhere, dissolved the offensive of all the Fiends in an instant.

“What!!?” The Fiend King was left dumbstruck, his eyes almost popping from their sockets.

    “Bang!”

In that moment, a dazzling burst of light exploded out, shaking the universe to its core.

Countless razor-sharp sword beams surged in from every direction, descending on the Cosmic Void like a rain of destruction powerful enough to erase worlds.

The swarm of over thirty million Fiends was wiped out with terrifying ease, too overwhelmed to even make a sound as they were erased from existence.

It took just an instant—one fierce exchange—and they were completely annihilated. None even managed a scream, vanishing without a trace into the endless Void.

    “Four Swords as One: Eternity!”

In that moment, a deep and thunderous voice echoed through the Cosmic Void like a bell tolling from the heavens. The sound was awe-inspiring, commanding absolute respect.

    Even before the words faded,

A figure radiating with dazzling light burst forth like a blazing sun, setting the Void alight.

It was none other than Gu Qingyi, who had just broken through to the Eternal Sword God realm! His arrival chased away all traces of darkness from the universe.

At the same time, a breathtaking woman appeared, standing firm in the vastness of the Void. She wore a brilliant red dress, her figure elegant and alluring, the very picture of a regal beauty.

Her beauty sparkled like the brightest star in the night, the kind that left everyone utterly spellbound.

This was Xuanyuan Lingxue—a peerless woman who, after her long slumber, had finally regained her true form!

The sight of the two together sent Dahuang scurrying back to the God Realm in terror.

“Strange, where am I?” Xuanyuan Lingxue looked around, confused, her gaze dropping to her hands. Her pupils shrank. “I’ve actually regained my true form!!”

“Master, it’s been a long time!” A gentle voice drifted up behind Xuanyuan Lingxue.

She turned in surprise, searching for the voice. As she caught sight of the speaker, her shock only deepened.

    “You… you—you’re Little Qingyi!”

“Disciple Gu Qingyi greets Master!” Gu Qingyi dropped to one knee, bowing respectfully.

“What!” Xuanyuan Lingxue stared at Gu Qingyi, her voice trembling. “It’s only been a few years since we last met, and you’ve already become an Eternal Sword God!!”

“Yes.” Gu Qingyi nodded, rising to his feet. He hesitated, then asked, “Master, would you like me to help restore your cultivation?”

“After all, Master, you’ve truly been revived, but your strength is still weak—it’s not safe to stay in the Cosmic Void for long.”

“No.” Xuanyuan Lingxue shook her head, letting out a soft sigh. “Let’s leave it. It’s not like I ever helped you much. I’d feel too awkward…”

“Without you, Master, there wouldn’t be me today. You don’t have to worry!”

Gu Qingyi hugged Xuanyuan Lingxue tightly, pouring energy from her hands straight into her Master’s body.

“Little Qingyi, what are you doing?” Xuanyuan Lingxue’s body trembled. She gasped,

“Ah! There’s a surge of power filling me up—every limb and bone is overflowing!”

    Even as she spoke,

A wave of energy erupted from Xuanyuan Lingxue, her cultivation rapidly soaring from Sword Practitioner Realm all the way up to Heavenly Jade Sword God before stopping.

“Is this the Jade Sword God? How have I reclaimed my old level overnight?!” Xuanyuan Lingxue stretched her hands out in disbelief.

Off to the side, Gu Qingyi glanced at the time, cleared her throat and stepped forward.

“Master, I’ve found someone I love, and I want to marry her soon. Would you be willing to witness my wedding?”

“What!” Xuanyuan Lingxue was stunned. She clapped Gu Qingyi’s shoulder and let out a booming laugh.

“Well, well! In just a few years you’ve shot up to become the Eternal Sword God, and now you’re getting married too!”

“You keep calling me Master, so how could I possibly miss your wedding? Anyway, I want to see how the world’s changed these days!”

“Thank you, Master!” Gu Qingyi beamed, bowing deeply.

Gu Qingyi proceeded to explain everything that had happened in the God Realm and beyond, laying it all out for Xuanyuan Lingxue.

Xuanyuan Lingxue just stared, utterly speechless, overwhelmed by the news. Shocked didn’t even begin to cover it.

She never dreamed that in just a few years, the entire world would change so dramatically.

But nothing surprised her more than the Sword God Domain merging, the countless minor worlds fusing together, and the creation of this brand new God Realm.

“Master, it’s getting late. Shall we go home?” Gu Qingyi smiled, glancing at the still-dazed Xuanyuan Lingxue.

    “Alright…” Xuanyuan Lingxue nodded.

Gu Qingyi lifted her hand, drawing a portal to Divine Sword Mountain right in front of them.

“Let’s go, Master!” Gu Qingyi grabbed Xuanyuan Lingxue’s hand and led her into the wormhole.

As soon as they entered, the portal vanished.

After they left, in the silence of the empty Void, something began to wriggle in the darkness.

    ……

    Divine Sword Mountain.

In the blink of an eye, Xuanyuan Lingxue and Gu Qingyi arrived.

Xuanyuan Lingxue gazed up at a towering Enlightenment Tree thousands of meters high and at the endless palaces ahead.

She felt a little lost for a moment, almost questioning who and where she was.

Even though she thought she’d prepared for the new world, the sight left her reeling.

“Little Qingyi, did you plant this tree?”

She swallowed nervously, reaching out a trembling hand to the Enlightenment Tree.

“Yeah, I planted it on a whim. If you don’t like it, Master, I can chop it down.” Gu Qingyi smiled.

“Don’t, don’t! What a waste it’d be to cut down such a precious tree.” Xuanyuan Lingxue waved her hands, then gazed at the palaces with excitement,

“Little Qingyi, can your master stay in your palace? And maybe, when you and your bride have children, I could help look after them!”

“Ah!” Gu Qingyi was taken aback, her tone filled with disbelief. “Master, you’re still so young—don’t you want to see more of the world?”

“See what? I’ve wandered for thousands of years—I’m tired and ready to settle down…” Xuanyuan Lingxue sighed, then added,

“But back to what I was saying—can I live in your palace? And help babysit if you have children?”

Gu Qingyi was flattered. “Of course, Master! As long as you’re happy!”

“Good, I’ll consider myself a guest of Little Qingyi!” Xuanyuan Lingxue’s lips curled into a smile.

With that, she hummed a little tune and strolled into the palace.

“Ha, my master really hasn’t grown up yet…” Gu Qingyi shook her head and glanced over her shoulder. “Dahuang, you can come out now.”

Hiding in the shadows, Dahuang jumped at being called out, then scratched his head and walked over.

“Big Brother, you really are an Eternal Sword God now—even when I hid everything, you still noticed me!” Dahuang murmured, ashamed.

“You’re still full of holes, Dahuang. Train harder!”

Gu Qingyi smiled, gave Dahuang’s head a quick pat, then turned and headed back to the palace.
