After Cangnan returned to the clan, he led his people in understanding the mysteries of the world, summarizing all natural phenomena and using numbers to solve the problems of the universe. Gradually, humanity began to evolve rapidly.

Every day, new inventions appeared. They melted ores to craft metal weapons, and soon after, they developed bows, crossbows, and catapults.

Humans had finally transitioned from the Stone Age to the Iron Age! Even stronger individuals began integrating mathematical formulas into their techniques, creating small worlds within the vast one, mimicking natural phenomena with their bodies. It’s impressive how many managed to pull it off.

Previously, powerful beings among humanity had merged their bloodlines, able to breathe fire and exhale vapor, but they only knew the results without understanding the mechanics.

After some research, they discovered which organ stored energy in the body. It would ignite in the throat area, allowing them to unleash flames. The original cultivation methods were now significantly improved! Jiang Ping was surprised that by giving them a seed, they managed to create such a significant breakthrough. Having cultivated the mathematical version of the Human King’s breathing technique, its effect was a hundred times more powerful than before! However, to master this technique, a solid foundation in mathematics and physics was necessary. Jiang Ping remarked, “Master math and physics, and you’ll conquer the world without fear.”

However, Jiang Ping keenly noticed that his cultivation felt different from those in the Original World, sensing a slight discord. It was still early in his training, but he worried that deeper practice might lead to major issues.

Upon careful consideration, he realized that the laws governing the two realms were slightly different, yet it still held boundless potential!

If this mathematical technique were pushed to its limits, it could use special mental frequencies to perceive the world and draw energy from different materials using mathematical energy formulas.

They might even unlock different dimensions to draw in higher-level energy and ultimately transcend this world.

As Jiang Ping thought about it, he realized that if they actually accomplished that, it would likely result in beings transcending the world, capable of breaking dimensions to enter their own three-dimensional reality! The thought was chilling. If they managed to break the dimensions and witnessed the Creator God in such a state, it would surely leave them dumbfounded. What if they leaped up and struck their own knees? What would he do then? “Genesis, do you think they will eventually create a technique that can break dimensions?” Jiang Ping immediately inquired.

“According to my calculations, it’s impossible. The potential of the Original World is limited, and the technique you envision cannot be created by them. Breaking dimensions and transcending worlds isn’t that simple,” Genesis directly refuted.

“Moreover, you need not worry, Master. You can directly control life and death over the creatures you create. To them, you remain the all-knowing and all-powerful Creator God. Furthermore, should even one transcendent being appear, the energy they provide in return would be unimaginable, almost allowing you to instantly evolve to a higher dimension; even my original form might evolve alongside you.”

Ideals are rich, but reality can be harsh; achieving the impossible, shattering vacuums, and breaking dimensions is no easy feat.

However, Jiang Ping understood that should a formidable individual capable of breaking dimensions actually appear, he would likely benefit immensely too, and Genesis might evolve as well! He needn’t worry about transcendent beings emerging; rather, he feared that they wouldn’t. Yet, from what Genesis spoke of, there might not be even one transcendent being appearing across several worlds. This goal felt far away.

The third-generation Human King, Cangnan, also surprised himself. While he was not as powerful as the second-generation Lianshan, he had even greater potential. However, even after consuming the Elixir of Immortality in the Original World, Cangnan inevitably began to age.

As the fourth-generation Human King was set to ascend, Cangnan pondered who the elder he met during his first life in old age was.

Was he real or fake? Ultimately, he ordered the historian to record in cursive: The third Human King passed by the Imperial River and met an unnamed elder, comprehending the Stone of Truth and realizing the rules governing all things.

The historian praised the third Human King highly, noting in the annals that his personal achievements were far inferior to those of the two previous kings, yet his contributions to clan development surpassed them!

Under his leadership, humanity not only recuperated and increased their strength but also led the clan in reforms, thoroughly grasping the mysteries of the divine gift, the Stone of Truth!

Humanity’s development was flourishing. Now, everywhere on the land, there were traces of human smoke. Other races were either tamed, fleeing to distant lands, or lurking overseas. Even now, humanity had begun to explore the ocean depths! However, the Ant Queen, Belsha, started noticing changes within humanity. She commanded her ant race to dig back up from the ground. This time, the Ant Queen revealed her might, causing all races in the Original World to tremble at her power! The Devouring Ants were terrifying! Conquering everything, they consumed indiscriminately; any race bold enough to fight them would be utterly conquered.

Among them, the ant warriors, soldier ants, were born warriors. They required no training as long as resources were available and could go to battle the moment they were born. The elite among them, the Metal Ants, struck fear even in human warriors.

Draped in metallic armor with sharp tips atop their heads, their bodies rivaled the hardest materials in nature.

Unless using the newly forged weapons could penetrate their defenses, otherwise, they were nearly invulnerable. Yet, even so, humanity suffered constant defeats; even the Earth Tyrant couldn’t withstand them, let alone the other races, which faced annihilation without knowing the number of times.

The most frightening aspect of the Devouring Ants was their ability to consume all things. They devoured extraordinary magical beasts, mutating into various incredible warrior types, even evolving flying variants.

The type known as Sky Ants was formed from the Ant Queen devouring the Pegasus, and after consuming the Griffin, the Sky Ants underwent a second evolution!

In the end, even the giant dragons were swallowed by countless ant swarms. There’s an old saying: ‘Too many ants can kill an elephant.’ Now it was more like ‘Too many ants can kill a dragon!’

    “Roar!”

With a thunderous dragon’s roar, the last primitive giant dragon was engulfed by countless soldier ants. Each soldier ant was quite weak, but once they got close to the dragon, their venom would corrode its body bit by bit.

Even though countless soldier ants died in the siege against the dragon, their bodies piled up into a small mountain, it was worth it!

The Ant Queen Belsha bravely emerged onto the surface to consume the most elite creature of divine creation—the giant dragon! This time, she was set to create the strongest warrior type—the Dragon Ant! Furthermore, Belsha’s actions triggered the Pegasus Knights in the sky watching the ant swarm to take notice.

The Human King finally understood the societal structure of the ant swarm—everything revolved around the Ant Queen! She consumed material energy, giving birth to various warrior types, while every ant followed her commands, each fulfilling their roles and showcasing their utmost capabilities.

The Human King decisively ordered to personally lead the strongest warriors of humanity to hunt down the Ant Queen!

Catch the thief by grabbing the king; as long as the Ant Queen died, the Devouring Ants would certainly fall into chaos.

In this battle, humanity went all out, and even other powerful races came to assist. The Devouring Ants were too fearsome!

Devouring everything left no room for other creatures! This time, the Ant Queen appeared on the surface to consume the giant dragon; it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Boom! The massive Bimon beast swung a wooden stick to clear a path, while countless soldier ants surged towards it like an unstoppable black tide. The ant swarm went completely mad to protect their queen! Bang! The strongest human Griffin Knights broke through the encirclement. Every knight was fully armored, their heavy armor shining like silver—the most advanced equipment in humanity.

They wielded three-meter-long spears, and with a single thrust, a dozen soldier ants were skewered like kebabs. At the center of the Griffin Knights stood the current Human King wielding the Spear of Destiny!

His steed was none other than the Griffin King!

Humanity’s stronghold pressed into the heart of the ant territory, and he could vaguely see the Ant Queen consuming the giant dragon!

The Ant Queen sensed the imminent danger; she not only quickened her consuming speed but also commanded her entire race to prevent humanity from breaking through!

One soldier ant after another launched suicide charges, with the elite Metal Ants using their bodies as shields just to stall humanity’s advance.

Throughout the continent, countless ant swarms rushed forth. More and more swarms came to reinforce. The Sky Ants crazily spread their wings, treating themselves like weapons, launching themselves like bullets at the Griffin Knights!

However, as the ant swarm went berserk, other powerful races also sensed something amiss and desperately targeted the incoming reinforcements.

Although the Metal Ants were impervious to blades and spears, the weapons enhanced with extraordinary energy were razor-sharp. Countless Metal Ants were pierced through, yet the strongest human knights began to fall rapidly.

Once their steadiness faltered and they fell from their mounts, the soldier ants would immediately swarm over them like a tidal wave, covering them until no sound was left.

Closer! Closer! The Human King widened his eyes, fixating on the massive Ant Queen that was devouring. After several evolutions, she had a human face and a worm’s body, her colossal abdomen stretching over eight meters in length and more than four meters thick! It was precisely because her massive size was so striking that she was spotted by the human scouts.

The Human King stomped fiercely on the Griffin King’s sides. The Griffin King understood the intent, letting out a furious roar as it barreled through the iron wall formed by Metal Ants blocking its path and leaped forward with a resounding crash.

Countless Metal Ants were sent flying, and the Human King finally confronted the Ant Queen.

King against king! In that life-or-death moment, the Human King’s right hand bulged with muscles, his body coiled like a great bow. He activated the Human King’s breathing method to its peak and hurled the Spear of Destiny!

Whoosh! The Spear of Destiny streaked through the air like lightning, forming a conical shockwave across the battlefield. At that moment, every strong warrior on the battlefield stopped in their tracks.

Regardless of friend or foe, they all watched in awe at that stunning throw.

Boom! A deafening explosion echoed as the Ant Queen let out a pained howl. Her massive form was too cumbersome to react in time. At that moment, the Ant Queen’s eight-meter abdomen exploded into two pieces, blood splattering everywhere.

The Spear of Destiny was indestructible to begin with, and the energy loaned by the Human King made this strike beyond the Ant Queen’s imagination.

Despite having devoured numerous hard ores and creatures, they provided no defense at all! Just as humanity’s warriors rejoiced, the ant swarm went berserk again, rapidly retreating around the Ant Queen, fiercely attacking the Griffin swarm.

The Human King’s expression changed drastically. The Ant Queen, with her body torn in half, was still struggling. Her human face twisted in pain as she cast a hateful glare at the Human King in the sky, then quickly scurried towards the nearest underground tunnel.

She didn’t even have time to consume what could likely be the last primitive giant dragon before making her escape.

Her path was soaked in blood, and she was closely escorted by countless formidable Metal Ants.

“Not good! The Ant Queen wants to escape underground! Brothers, let’s charge once more!” the Human King bellowed fiercely. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to kill the Ant Queen should not be missed; otherwise, letting a tiger return to the mountain would only bring endless trouble!

The other knights too realized the urgency, and they began to charge like mad. However, after the Ant Queen’s severe injury, the remaining Sky Ants also started going insane, disregarding their own lives and launching suicide attacks.

Endless bodies fell from the skies, staining the land black.

The human warriors had suffered severe casualties, and the Griffin Knights were also gravely injured, yet the Ant Queen Belsha managed to retreat to her lair.

In the last moment of her descent into the depths, Belsha glared hatefully at the Human King. “Human, our war has just begun!”

With that, the Ant Queen Belsha dove into her thousand-meter-deep underground base, and the human warriors no longer had the opportunity to implement beheading tactics. As the Ant Queen said, the war between the two dominant races had only just begun.

Jiang Ping savored the epic battle, “War is the greatest catalyst for stirring a race’s potential. Humanity has an enemy; this conflict is bound to unfold over more than just a couple of days. The world is vast, but it can’t accommodate two overlords!”

    Chapter Summary

After Cangnan's return, humanity advanced quickly, developing metal weapons and new techniques. However, they faced the fierce Devouring Ants led by Ant Queen Belsha, who demonstrated terrifying power by devouring various creatures. A monumental clash ensued, culminating in the Human King attempting to defeat the Ant Queen with the Spear of Destiny. Despite significant victories, Belsha managed to escape, signaling that the war between the two races was only beginning. Jiang Ping reflected on the potential of war to elevate humanity's capabilities while recognizing the challenges ahead.
