In the end, Wuma led a small band of elite warriors out, facing ambushes from powerful giant beasts along the way. Fortunately, the ape-men worked together to fend off their attackers, and with the sharp Spear of Destiny in hand, even those extraordinary beasts couldn’t find an easy victory.

During their journey, the ape-men kept detailed records of their enemies and the surrounding terrain. Yet, despite their precautions, they continued to suffer casualties. When Wuma looked back and saw only a few dozen brothers following him, despair bubbled up within him.

Just as he was about to lead his brothers back, a scouting ape-man suddenly came rushing towards him, filled with excitement.

Wuma quickly moved forward and saw a bright area ahead, where a massive river surged continuously. Countless giant beasts and birds gathered to drink from its waters, and every now and then, a plump fish leapt into the air.

Out of the darkness of the woods, he unexpectedly stumbled upon a paradise! Food was abundant, and the water was an endless supply—this place seemed tailor-made for the ape-men! Wuma was overjoyed and called his brothers to find suitable spots to build their homes. He also sent someone back to the base to report the news. In the end, aside from leaving a few seeds in the ancestral land, most of the ape-men migrated to this fertile new territory.

From that day on, the ape-men no longer worried about food. In fact, they even had the energy to store salted fish, with their numbers growing each year.

Living by the river allowed for the creation of ceramics, greatly enriching the everyday items of the ape-men. They even discovered runes for counting, which were strikingly similar to the runes on the Stone of Truth.

This filled Wuma with excitement, but he was still unable to understand what the stone recorded. He could only vaguely guess that it represented a more efficient method of numerical record-keeping.

    “Boom!”

With a loud crash, the tyrant Crocodile within a hundred miles was slain by Wuma. By this point, Wuma was no longer young, around thirty years old. Over the years, he had worked tirelessly to grow and strengthen his tribe.

Yet, he also recognized his own limitations. Even though he was invincible with the Spear of Destiny, the threat from those beasts imbued with extraordinary powers remained far too great.

Moreover, in recent years, he had sensed a decline in his physical condition, stirring a sense of worry within him.

One day, he realized that not all extraordinary creatures were born strong. Many were weak when they were born but grew formidable with age. Aside from their innate bloodline powers, their breathing techniques contributed significantly! “We ape-men may be weak by nature, but we can adeptly harness the elements of the world!” The inspiration struck Wuma, prompting him to send others to closely approach extraordinary creatures and begin imitating their techniques of drawing in and expelling spiritual energy.

“Good! Knowing to learn from other creatures’ breathing techniques at such an early stage means you’ll soon adapt it into a cultivation method suitable for the human body!”

Jiang Ping happily gulped down his sweet drink, watching Wuma as he organized the tribesmen to secretly learn the breathing techniques.

Once the ape-men had adapted the breathing technique suitable for human cultivation, perhaps he could try his hand at it. After all, despite holding the title of the Creator God, his actual combat power in the three-dimensional world was that of a mere weakling at level five!

Previously, the most advanced breathing technique in the Original World belonged to Lahir; however, she was a tree! He was human, so it seemed far-fetched for him to cultivate it!

Suddenly, Jiang Ping recalled that there seemed to be no extraordinary energy in reality? “Genesis, do you think I could cultivate the modified breathing techniques of the ape-men?” Jiang Ping asked.

“There is virtually no extraordinary energy on this planet. If you solely rely on breathing techniques, in your lifetime, you may at best just have a stronger physique, but it would be impossible to cultivate extraordinary power,” Genesis replied.

“However, since you hold the title of Creator God, you can absorb the spiritual energy of small worlds. Unfortunately, the amount of spiritual energy that feedbacks to you is minimal; only after cataclysms can you receive substantial amounts of spiritual energy.”

Jiang Ping pondered this; it meant that even if he acquired advanced breathing techniques, the effects would still be limited. If others didn’t have Genesis with them, they’d likely never cultivate anything in their lifetime! Moreover, if they remain inactive for extended periods, they would only worsen, suffering from declining vitality. It seemed that the true bounty lay in the feedback from living beings after each catastrophe!

While Jiang Ping planned to secretly learn the modified breathing techniques of the ape-men, Wuma had already begun training himself to gather the powers of many giant beasts using the modified human breathing techniques refined by the elders.

As Wuma continued his rigorous training day and night, and with constant modifications to his technique, the ancient human breathing method gradually improved. He could clearly sense that the thin spiritual energy in the sky was being absorbed more rapidly, and his body was steadily growing stronger! Wuma taught the modified breathing techniques to his tribesmen, noticing that the younger they were, the better their training effects. Thus, he ordered that every newborn child begin their training as soon as they were aware!

Ten years later, the ape-men’s numbers soared past one hundred thousand! They settled on both banks of the great river, which they named the Imperial River, also known as the Mother River!

Now in his forties, Wuma patrolled his territory. Over the years, his prestige surged, as Wuma not only excelled in martial prowess, but his virtues garnered deep respect among all ape-men.

Suddenly, Wuma looked up at the sky, and with a booming voice shouted, “Attention everyone! The red dragon Fahos is attacking! All old, young, women, and children, quickly take cover! Young warriors, arm yourselves and follow me to confront the enemy!”

With the chief’s warning, chaos erupted in the ape-men’s village, but order quickly returned as they hid. Some young warriors gathered around Wuma, spears in hand.

Over the years, as the ape-men flourished, some formidable extraordinary beasts had taken notice and occasionally launched ambushes. Some succeeded, while others fell to the counterattack by the ape-men! Among these, the red dragon Fahos was the most powerful! Each attack led to significant casualties in the tribe!

Wuma glared at the approaching red dragon with rage. Without waiting for it to come closer, he yelled, “Fire!”

In an instant, the warriors behind him hurled their spears. Bang! Bang! Most of the stone spears failed to penetrate the red dragon’s defenses, but a few struck its eyes and other weak points. Stung by the pain, Fahos turned its wrath towards the insignificant attackers below.

In just a few short years, how had these ape-men become so formidable? The red dragon seethed as it unleashed its breath; however, the warriors rolled aside in perfect synchronization.

Having lost altitude due to the attacks, the red dragon suddenly sensed a disturbance. It turned its head to see the surrounding ape-men wrapping its legs with thick ropes.

    “Boom!”

The red dragon angrily lifted its foot, but the grass ropes, made from the vines of the sacred tree, were extraordinarily strong. It couldn’t break free! The warriors pulled tight on the ropes; although many were flung away, others rushed in to continue gripping them.

Wuma, wielding the Spear of Destiny, stepped forward, declaring, “Evil dragon, your very nature is one of slaughter! You have devoured countless of my kin. Today, I shall take revenge for my people!”

With the red dragon bound, it couldn’t utilize its powerful flying abilities. Having just expended its breath, it was unable to unleash it again for a short while. But with its immense strength, the dragon violently whipped its head, sending Wuma flying.

Boom! Wuma struck the ground, creating a deep crater. Just as the warriors worried for their chief’s safety, Wuma rose as if nothing had happened! Over the years of practicing the breathing techniques, not only had his companions grown stronger, but he himself had undergone a radical transformation!

Suddenly, a stream of scorching blood dripped from the surface of the red dragon’s scaly face. This was the result of their collision! The red dragon glared furiously at Wuma and the spear he wielded.

“What weapon is this?” it demanded angrily. This spear had easily inflicted injury upon it—was there truly such a sharp weapon in the world? “Ha!” Wuma laughed heartily, “This is a divine weapon bestowed by the Creator God, named the Spear of Destiny! Today, it will be drenched in dragon blood! You cannot escape your fate today!”

With a mighty shout, Wuma charged towards the red dragon. Fahos retaliated with fury, causing more warriors to be sent flying into the air, yet Wuma nimbly avoided them and seized every opportunity to strike!

The two great powers clashed in an earth-shaking battle. The red dragon stood among the most powerful beings on the continent. Saving the most inscrutable sacred tree aside, no one could contend with it. Yet today, backed by his tribe, Wuma managed to rival it!

Other extraordinary creatures watched the battlefield in shock, unable to believe that the once easily-defeated ape-men had become so strong! The sacred tree Lahir also cast down its branches, observing the epic clash. She, too, was astonished that the ape-men, who were once protected by her from eradication, now possessed such might.

This battle far surpassed anyone’s expectations, lasting for three days and nights. Warriors continued to reinforce the ropes binding the red dragon, and whenever it attempted to unleash its breath, Wuma would counter with strikes to its neck and sensitive scales, nearly choking the dragon with flames!

The waters of the Imperial River hissed and boiled under the red dragon’s fiery breath, and countless fish and shrimp that couldn’t escape floated lifelessly on the surface.

Finally, under the twilight, with Wuma transforming into a streak of light piercing towards the red dragon’s eye, this epic battle reached its conclusion! Wuma, bathed in fiery dragon blood, was reborn as the legendary red dragon Fahos fell, its massive form crashing to the ground.

“The evil dragon Fahos is dead!” Wuma shouted triumphantly, blood-soaked and with spear in hand, standing atop the mountainous corpse of the red dragon.

His figure resembled that of an ancient god! The extraordinary beasts observing from the shadows were equally stunned by Wuma. One by one, the ape-men appeared from all directions, cheering for victory and praising their leader Wuma’s bravery, shouting, “Long live the Human King!”

Gradually, this declaration echoed across the heavens and earth, announcing the birth of the human race! A powerful species was about to emerge in this world! They wouldn’t rely on innate divine power but would instead depend on their weapons and learned skills!
