Chapter Index

    After a passionate encounter.

Lin Zheng Ran lay on the SUV’s back seat, which was as comfortable as a bed and came in handy at times like these.

Han Wenwen nestled on top of him like a natural little fox.

    Without any worldly accessories.

Worried she might be cold, Lin Zheng Ran grabbed a blanket from the car and draped it over her.

The little fox’s small hand traced circles on Lin Zheng Ran’s neck.

Her expression blissful and happy: “Brother Zheng Ran, your body is so strong.”

Lin Zheng Ran stroked her smooth, flowing hair, marveling at how incredibly clever this fox was.

After Heqing and Lily finished their own escapades, they both looked dazed, their eyes foggy with exhaustion.

Half-asleep, half-awake, drifting in and out.

But after more than three hours, while Han Wenwen was still a bit breathless from the exertion, her energy remained high, her playful allure even more intense.

    “Are you tired?” he asked.

“I am tired, but… I’d love to stay this tired forever. After all, Brother Zheng Ran has so much energy every day with nowhere to put it.”

She shot him a playful glance: “From now on, just use it all on me. I won’t mind at all.”

Lin Zheng Ran held her close:

“You’re really something else. Where do you pick up all these wild ideas?”

“Impressed? To take care of Brother Zheng Ran, I’ve watched years of novels and films for this. Though I haven’t tried it all in real life—just theory—it turns out I have a real talent for it.”

“It’s clear you were a fox spirit in your past life,” he said with a sigh.

“So, does that mean Brother Zheng Ran likes me even more now?”

    “Mm-hmm.”

    “For real?”

She shyly hugged Lin Zheng Ran tighter, then suddenly remembered something. She reached into her clothes pocket, pulled out a bank card, and handed it to him: “Here, take this!”

    “What’s this?”

“My bank card. All my money is in there—it’s not much, just a few thousand bucks. Back in middle school, I tried to give it to you once, but you wouldn’t take it. Now that I’m completely yours, Brother Zheng Ran, you can’t refuse again, right?”

Lin Zheng Ran wondered why she kept obsessing over these things.

“I don’t need the money. Why not just spend your own? It’s yours to use freely.”

Han Wenwen looked puzzled: “Of course I have to give it to Brother Zheng Ran. What would I do with it?” She added sheepishly:

“Compared to Heqing and Lily, I probably spend the most, since I love buying clothes and stuff. But loving to spend doesn’t mean I love holding onto money.”

She pouted: “Normally, a girl should give her money to her man. How else can I act spoiled and ask you for cash when I want to buy things? I explained this before.”

She gave a light huff, her fox-like eyes blinking as she placed a finger on his lips, looking serious:

“And don’t think I don’t know, Brother Zheng Ran— you’re the one holding Heqing’s money! She just sweet-talks you for more when she needs it. Why can’t I do the same? I want to act spoiled too!”

    “That’s because…”

    Han Wenwen eyed him jealously.

Lin Zheng Ran paused, then tried a different angle: “Don’t you act spoiled enough as it is?”

She stared at him even more jealously.

Lin Zheng Ran gave in to this fox and reluctantly took the bank card:

“Alright, fine. When you need money, just ask me. But at least keep some for yourself—you’re not like Heqing. You live on your own, and your expenses add up fast.”

Han Wenwen was thrilled that he finally took the card.

Now, all her assets were in Brother Zheng Ran’s hands.

“In that case, Brother Zheng Ran, transfer me two thousand first. I’ll ask for more when I run out.”

Lin Zheng Ran pulled out his phone to transfer the money to Han Wenwen: “Isn’t this just going in circles?”

Han Wenwen fixed him with a stare: “What do you mean, going in circles? This makes me feel like your kept little fox for real. I love being under your control, having you take care of me.”

    Lin Zheng Ran chuckled softly.

    Han Wenwen cheekily hummed back.

“Oh, right, Brother Zheng Ran—after university starts, are you really planning to get a place for us all to live together?”

“Not rent—buy. You’ve always talked about wanting a real home, right? Once we have our own house, it’ll be yours, and we won’t move around much.”

Han Wenwen’s eyes softened; she hadn’t thought that deeply about his reasons.

She bit her lower lip, touched: “So, Brother Zheng Ran wants to buy a house because of me? To give me a real home?”

“Why else? Heqing and Lily don’t care much about that stuff. But you do—I see how you love decorating your room. With our own place, you can do whatever you want without restrictions.”

The little fox kissed the corner of Lin Zheng Ran’s mouth: “You’re so good to me, Brother Zheng Ran.”

Lin Zheng Ran stroked her hair and set down his phone: “I’ve transferred the money. Check it.”

“No need to check. I only want to look at you, Brother Zheng Ran.”

Lin Zheng Ran glanced at the time, but Han Wenwen noticed and snatched his phone away.

“No checking the time! If you do, you’ll want to leave, and I don’t want you to go yet. Wait until Heqing and Lily call. I still want to cuddle and chat.”

Lin Zheng Ran was happy to indulge this fox a bit longer.

Holding her, he asked: “What else do you want to talk about?”

Han Wenwen’s hand kept tracing circles on his neck:

“Not sure. Anything works. Oh, wait, I have a topic! Does Brother Zheng Ran want kids? How many do you want me to have? Boys or girls?”

“Any number is fine, and I don’t care if it’s boys or girls. But not now—you’re too young. Let’s wait until after university at least.”

“Whenever Brother Zheng Ran wants, I’m ready. But it’s up to you. I bet our kids would be adorable—I can already picture it.”

“As long as they don’t grow fox tails.”

“Of course not! Do you really think I’m a fox spirit?!”

The two shared a laugh, then suddenly Han Wenwen said: “I’m craving it again. I want more…”

“We just rested a bit, and we’ve been at it all afternoon.”

    “But I want you… Please, master~”

With a nod from Lin Zheng Ran, Han Wenwen kissed him again.

    Another steamy session followed.

It was past eight in the evening.

Heqing finally called, since it had been over four hours, way past their agreed three.

Asking why they hadn’t returned yet.

Han Wenwen answered and brushed it off with a quick excuse.

So Lin Zheng Ran and Han Wenwen got dressed, left the car, and headed back to the picnic spot.

Han Wenwen was impressive—even after four hours, she could still walk hand in hand with Lin Zheng Ran without trouble.

But after checking her pulse, Lin Zheng Ran realized part of it was her unique constitution—stronger desires and a tougher build by nature.

The bigger reason, though, was that from their last time and this one, Han Wenwen had consumed plenty of those special treats.

Some kind of miraculous elixir had boosted her core physique, letting her recover energy faster than most.
