Chapter 359: Radiant Morning Secrets

Early the next morning, Lin Zheng Ran said goodbye to Lily and the Lin Ying Jun couple, then headed to the factory to check on things.

He found Jiang’s Uncle incredibly busy, his mindset fully adjusted, and the work to procure new materials already underway, getting the factory back on track as fast as possible.

So, Lin Zheng Ran stopped worrying and returned to the villa with Lily.

But during the car ride, Lily noticed something strange.

In the back seat of the taxi, she caught a glimpse of her face on the dark phone screen and touched it, murmuring, “Hmm?”

She switched to selfie mode for a closer look.

In selfie mode, human skin imperfections stand out the most, especially up close.

Yet, Lily realized that even though she and Zheng Ran had barely rested last night, staying up until well after 3 a.m., her skin looked flawless when she woke up—no dryness or dark circles at all.

In fact, it was better than last week—prettier and cuter!

Her skin was firm and glowing, smooth as silk, without any acne scars or blemishes.

She looked radiant, just like after that spa trip last time.

And thinking about it, her energy today was great too, with no signs of exhaustion from the late night.

Lily set her phone down.

“Zheng Ran, has my skin gotten better?”

Glancing at Lily out the window, Lin Zheng Ran knew exactly why it had improved.

After their passionate night together multiple times: “Yeah, it has.”

“I knew it, but why? I’ve been curious since the spa, but it didn’t happen again, so I let it go. Now it’s back today though—”

She muttered to herself, lost in thought: “If it’s not the spa, what’s the common factor in these times my skin suddenly improved? Wen Wen and Heqing kept saying it was the spa, but I never felt right about that…”

Lin Zheng Ran smiled mysteriously out the window.

Lily heard his soft laugh and started to say, “What’s so funny!”

Then it hit her like a bolt—she froze. “Wait, Zheng Ran, you’re not surprised at all, like you knew this would happen. It was the same last time, and even the first time with Han Wenwen in the hotel.”

Lin Zheng Ran replied, “Wasn’t I shocked the first time?”

She said cutely, “Not really! You just looked curious, while Heqing and I were the ones shocked! Wait, no— what do you mean by ‘I should have been shocked’? That implies you already knew the reason! Do you know?”

Lin Zheng Ran gave Lily a meaningful look.

Lily pouted and grabbed his arm: “Tell me! What’s going on? What’s the cause?”

“Weren’t you almost figuring it out yourself?”

“Huh?”

“You just said these times must have something in common. Think simply— and remember if Heqing and Wen Wen did the same thing.”

Lily pondered deeply. What could it be? Skipping breakfast? Something happening? Going out? Or—

Memories of last night’s intimacy flashed in her mind, and her face gradually turned red, finally flushing as bright as a tomato.

Her mouth trembled as she spoke:

“Could it be from…”

Lin Zheng Ran shushed her, signaling the driver might hear.

Lily’s face burned like fire; she whispered frantically, as if discovering a new world: “Is it really because of that? Doing that with you makes it happen?”

Lin Zheng Ran offered an excuse: “I’m into medicine, so I keep our bodies in tune. Intimacy balances us, so it benefits you too.”

“Is that for real…?” She was too embarrassed to say more, but then spotted a flaw: “Wait, no! Zheng Ran, you said Heqing was your first, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Then that doesn’t add up! Han Wenwen was the one whose skin improved first, not Heqing! She hadn’t been with you then!”

She stopped mid-sentence, covering her mouth, her eyes wide in cute surprise.

Her mind raced faster now.

Based on Zheng Ran’s explanation, doing that absorbed his essence, improving a girl’s body—but it didn’t have to be that way; there was another method…

Which meant that little fox had used it on Zheng Ran long ago.

Lily glared at Lin Zheng Ran in shy annoyance, then closed her eyes and muttered, “Silly Zheng Ran! That sneaky fox!”

It startled the driver.

No wonder—once back at the villa, the embarrassed Lily confronted Han Wenwen: “Fox! You did that with Zheng Ran way back, even before the trip!”

The clever little fox, cornered by Lily, quickly understood and grinned: “Lily finally figured it out. What can I say? I got tempted.”

Lily exclaimed, “You can’t use ‘tempted’ for that!!!”

Jiang Jingshi and little Heqing looked confused.

Jiang Jingshi asked, “Why’s Lily making such a fuss as soon as she got back? Everything okay at home?”

Lily shyly replied, “All good! It’s sorted!”

Little Heqing asked, “What are you two talking about?”

Lily stammered, “This—” She leaned to Han Wenwen: “Fox, should we tell them about the skin and energy boost?”

Han Wenwen thought it over and whispered, “We could, but Zheng Ran might end up in hot water.”

Lily agreed but whispered back, “Everyone will find out eventually—it’s too obvious. When did you know, anyway?”

Han Wenwen sighed, “Guessed it on the trip, confirmed later. But it’s hard to do since Zheng Ran hasn’t been intimate much after school started—no chances.”

Lily nodded: “Yeah, opportunities are scarce.” She added with a smirk, “Though your skin’s been great lately.”

Han Wenwen covered her face and smiled: “Tell me, whose skin’s been off? I’m the first to uncover this secret, so I notice when anyone sneaks around.”

Lily had no comeback—Han Wenwen could spot the signs. She avoided eye contact, knowing she’d sneaked a few times herself.

Han Wenwen went on: “But yours improved so much overnight, Lily. You and Zheng Ran were at it a lot, right?”

Lily awkward: “Well…”

Han Wenwen, both jealous and curious: “How many times?”

Lily protested, “You don’t ask that! I’m not saying!” She covered her ears.

Little Heqing and Jiang Jingshi watched the two whisper intensely, totally baffled.

Jiang Jingshi said, “What are you two going on about?”

Han Wenwen nudged Lily, and they exchanged glances.

Han Wenwen announced, “Little Heqing, Jiang Jie, we’re about to share a secret.”

So, they whispered it to little Heqing and Jiang Jingshi.

The moment they heard, little Heqing and Jiang Jingshi blushed bright red.

They blurted together, “Is that for real?!”

Lily said haltingly, “I tested it myself—it’s true. Just think back, and you’ll see.”

Little Heqing hid her face on the couch in embarrassment.

Jiang Jingshi touched her own face, her gentle features flushed: “No wonder my skin’s been so good lately… I was wondering why.”

Just then, Lin Zheng Ran came out of the restroom and saw the four women staring at him intently.

Like a pack of wolves eyeing fresh prey, as if he’d just become some newly discovered treasure.

Lin Zheng Ran said, “…Why are you all looking at me like that?”
