Chapter 368: Secrets and Seductions
by xennovelThe little fox changed into her secretary outfit.
Everyone looked her over and found she had an oddly striking beauty and sexiness.
In black stockings and high heels, the little fox didn’t come across as elegant or refined at all, but she gave off that dangerous allure of a temptress who could bring kingdoms to ruin.
Every smile and gesture captivated the heart.
In this attire, Han Wenwen fully revealed the seductive charm deep in her bones.
She walked with a cat-like grace in her high heels, sidling up to Lin Zheng Ran and linking her arm with his. In a sweet, breathy voice, she purred, “Good morning, boss~”
Even Heqing was surprised: “Wenwen… you look so different in that outfit.”
Han Wenwen leaned on Lin Zheng Ran’s shoulder, eyeing Heqing: “Do I? What’s different about me, Xiao Qingqing?”
Heqing blinked her innocent almond eyes and suddenly felt shy: “It’s just…” She scanned Han Wenwen from her high-heeled feet, wrapped in black stockings, up her long legs, to the sexy curve of her hips and waist in that form-fitting skirt.
Covering her face, she said, “It’s like you could be the boss’s mistress— I don’t know how to put it exactly. It’s that vibe, like you’d sneak under the desk in the office and do something not suitable for kids.”
Lily and Jiang Jingshi heard this and stared at Heqing in disbelief, too embarrassed to speak. What a wild comparison from Heqing.
In moments like this, Heqing was always the boldest.
Han Wenwen blushed at the comment, covering her face with one hand as she smiled: “Is that so? Though Xiao Qingqing is blunt, that’s exactly the vibe I was going for. I wore this to tempt Brother Zheng Ran.”
Everyone: “.”
There was no way to judge this little fox.
Lin Zheng Ran sighed and flicked her forehead.
The little fox yelped in pain, pretending to be pitiful.
Lin Zheng Ran said, “Alright, enough chatting. Since we’re all ready, let’s head out. Pan Lin is waiting at the door.”
Lin Zheng Ran, Han Wenwen, Jiang Jingshi, Heqing, and Lily said their goodbyes, then left the villa together.
At the villa entrance, Pan Lin had already gotten out of the car and was waiting.
Pan Lin knew about Jiang Jingshi’s recent move and that she was now living with Lin Zheng Ran.
But seeing other young women coming out with them surprised her.
Still, those familiar faces made Pan Lin quickly understand the situation.
Lin Zheng Ran wasn’t an ordinary man—he could make someone like Jiang Jingshi, a national idol everyone admired, agree to this. No average guy could pull that off.
It proved just how much Jiang Jingshi loved him.
“Mr. Lin, Ms. Jiang,” Pan Lin greeted with a slight bow.
Lin Zheng Ran introduced, “Pan Lin, this is Han Wenwen, my future secretary. From now on, pass all my work matters to her. It’ll take some pressure off you. Han Wenwen, this is Pan Lin, currently the secretary for both Jiang Jingshi and me.”
Pan Lin looked up in surprise: “Mr. Lin’s secretary?”
Han Wenwen smiled and bowed slightly: “Hello, sister. I’m Han Wenwen. You can just call me Wenwen.”
Pan Lin gazed at this strikingly beautiful girl and smiled: “Hello, Wenwen. Got it. Once we get to the office today, I’ll hand over all of Mr. Lin’s secretary duties to you.”
Jiang Jingshi added, “That way, Pan Lin, you’ll have more free time. You’ve worked hard lately.”
Pan Lin chuckled warmly: “It’s alright, I can manage. Thank you for your concern, Ms. Jiang and Mr. Lin.”
They all got into the car, and the Rolls Royce soon glided through the city as Lily and Heqing watched them leave from the villa entrance.
Back at the villa, they relaxed.
In the car, Han Wenwen sat with Lin Zheng Ran and Jiang Jingshi in the back seat.
Han Wenwen examined the car’s interior, her fingers tracing the door as she thought to herself:
“So this is a Rolls Royce… The inside is so different from other cars—spacious and luxurious. Once I have money, I’ll buy one for Brother Zheng Ran.”
Lin Zheng Ran told Han Wenwen, “When we get to the office, Pan Lin will help you with the onboarding paperwork. If you have any questions during the handover, ask her. She’s great at handling business. Once you’re done, come find me and Jiang Jingshi in the office.”
Han Wenwen nodded: “Okay!”
From the passenger seat, Pan Lin said, “It might be tough at first, but you’ll get used to it.”
Han Wenwen asked, “Pan Jie, what are the hardest parts to learn?”
Pan Lin thought for a moment and replied:
“The toughest thing is getting used to Mr. Lin’s personal habits. The work itself isn’t too bad—secretaries mostly handle messages and services, like knowing how Mr. Lin likes his tea.
You need to memorize his schedule, understand his work style, and pick up on his habits. Jiang Jingshi and Mr. Lin differ in some ways, so pay attention to that. But I think you’ll handle it easily, Wenwen.”
Han Wenwen found that intriguing—her favorite thing was studying Brother Zheng Ran’s habits.
“Then, Pan Jie, please teach me everything! I’ll learn seriously.”
Pan Lin nodded.
Jiang Jingshi and Lin Zheng Ran listened to their conversation and figured Han Wenwen already knew most of it.
Han Wenwen glanced at Pan Lin again, her fox-like eyes blinking once before she smiled and looked away.
Soon, they arrived at the Zheng Shi Company head office.
At first sight, Han Wenwen was stunned by the scene.
Through the car window, she took in the seven-story luxurious building, the gatehouse, the spacious parking lot, and the office workers occasionally walking below.
She’d seen pictures of Zheng Shi Company online before and was impressed, but seeing it in person was on another level.
“Is this whole huge company Brother Zheng Ran’s?”
The guard spotted the vehicle and quickly raised the barrier, standing attentively at his post.
The car pulled into the designated area, and Pan Lin got out to open the door.
Stepping out, Han Wenwen gazed up at the massive building and felt a moment of daze.
Six years ago, in middle school, when Brother Zheng Ran said he’d make her his secretary, she had imagined him succeeding as a boss someday.
But she pictured a small company, not something this grand. This moment felt like a dream.
“Wenwen?”
Han Wenwen snapped back: “Hmm?”
Lin Zheng Ran laughed and asked, “What are you spacing out for? Let’s go inside.”
Han Wenwen looked at the current Lin Zheng Ran and smiled with a nod.
Brother Zheng Ran was incredibly impressive—meeting him was the luckiest thing in her life.
“Brother Zheng Ran, this company is so huge; it’s blown me away.”
As they walked, Lin Zheng Ran replied, “Honestly, I was surprised too when I first came. I didn’t expect Jiang Jingshi to rent such a big building right away, and then she went and bought it outright.”
Jiang Jingshi responded, “When Zheng and I started the company, I aimed for the biggest from the start. Better to go all in than expand bit by bit and buy more later. Looking back, it was the right call.”
