Chapter Index

Seven days later, Uncle Fu visited Lu Changsheng to inform him that Qingzhu Valley was ready. They could move in anytime.

Hearing this, Lu Changsheng immediately began packing.

However, after living here for over two years with nine wives and seven children, they had accumulated quite a lot of belongings.

Looking at all these things, Lu Changsheng felt a bit overwhelmed.

“Hehe, the family head anticipated you’d have trouble moving,” Uncle Fu chuckled.

“This is a Storage Bag, a gift from the family head. He said that as a Fumaster, you should have one. It’ll make things much easier.”

Uncle Fu handed Lu Changsheng a black leather bag.

“A Storage Bag!” Lu Changsheng’s eyes lit up.

He had been wanting to buy one to store his talismans.

But when he inquired at the Hundred Treasures Pavilion, even the cheapest Storage Bag cost fifty Spirit Stones.

Although he earned five Spirit Stones a month, spending fifty on a bag seemed extravagant. So he hadn’t bought one.

Now Uncle Fu said the family head was gifting him one.

“Thank you, Uncle Fu! And thanks to the family head!” Lu Changsheng expressed his gratitude.

He thought to himself how having a skill really paid off. As a Fumaster, the Lu Family had become much more generous.

“Hehe, as long as you work hard for the Lu Family, we’ll always take care of our own,” Uncle Fu said with a smile.

He then demonstrated how to use the bag: “You probably haven’t used a Storage Bag before. Let me show you.”

“Just point the bag’s opening at the item you want to store, then inject a bit of Qi into the bag to lock onto the item. It will be automatically sucked in!”

He aimed the bag at a nearby table and chair, inputting a trace of Qi.

Immediately, a white beam shot out from the bag, enveloping the stool. The stool rapidly shrunk and was sucked into the bag.

“That’s how you store items. To retrieve them, it’s the same process. Just use Qi to lock onto the item you want to take out.”

Another white beam shot out, and the stool that had just been stored flew out, returning to its original size.

Lu Changsheng watched in amazement, thinking how convenient such a Storage Bag would be.

“Here, it’s yours to use now,” Uncle Fu said, handing the bag to Lu Changsheng, noting the excitement in his eyes.

“However, there are a few things to keep in mind when using a Storage Bag,” Uncle Fu cautioned.

“First, this bag only has one cubic meter of space and can only shrink items to one-tenth their size.”

“So if something is too big or you put in too many things, the bag will stop working.”

“For now, don’t bother putting in large items like beds or tables. The house in Qingzhu Valley is fully furnished.”

“Second, you can’t store living things. If you put a living person or animal in there, they’ll die for sure.”

“So never try it with children.”

    “Third, keep your wealth hidden!”

“These Storage Bags don’t have an owner-binding function. If someone steals it, anyone can claim the contents. So when you’re out, try not to show it to other cultivators. It could bring you harm.”

Uncle Fu’s tone was serious as he instructed Lu Changsheng.

“Yes, Uncle Fu. I’ll remember,” Lu Changsheng nodded, taking the advice to heart.

Then, he started packing with the Storage Bag.

He stored all the talismans from his study and other odds and ends he needed to take.

Suddenly, the once troublesome move became much simpler.

In no time, everything was packed up.

Considering that Lu Changsheng’s wives were mostly pregnant and they had many children, Uncle Fu had arranged a horse-drawn carriage outside.

The women and children all got into the carriage. Seeing Li Feiyu who had come to see them off, Lu Changsheng went up to him with a smile.

“Feiyu, we can’t just drop in on each other anymore. But don’t worry, I’ll still come bother you when I’m free.”

“If you need anything, feel free to come find me anytime. You know our relationship, right?”

Lu Changsheng patted Li Feiyu’s shoulder affectionately.

The life-saving grace from before, plus their friendship over the past two years, had made Lu Changsheng see Li Feiyu as a true brother and friend.

“Alright, I know what kind of person you are. We’re both men, no need for flowery words. Go on now, it’s not like you’re going far,” Li Feiyu said casually, waving his hand.

Then, Lu Changsheng got into the carriage, and Uncle Fu drove them towards Qingzhu Valley.

Watching the carriage leave, Li Feiyu sighed slightly, his eyes showing a hint of envy, before returning to his room to cultivate.

    “Uncle Fu! Lu Changsheng!”

    “Uncle Fu! Brother Changsheng!”

    “Brother Changsheng, moving house, eh?”

People along the way greeted Uncle Fu and Lu Changsheng on the carriage, their eyes full of envy.

A young girl saw Lu Changsheng on the carriage and seemed lost in thought for a moment before heading towards the Hundred Treasures Pavilion.

The journey from Qingzhu Mountain Estate to Qingzhu Valley wasn’t far.

After about ten minutes of slow travel, Uncle Fu stopped the carriage and said to Lu Changsheng,

“This is Qingzhu Valley. However, there’s a protective formation here. To enter, you must show the Identity Token I gave you.”

Lu Changsheng looked carefully and noticed a barely visible, transparent ripple ahead.

He had seen a similar formation when entering Qingzhu Mountain before.

He hadn’t expected the Lu Family to have another layer of protection inside.

Uncle Fu then took out the Identity Token and drove the carriage through the transparent ripple.

The scene inside Qingzhu Valley was somewhat similar to the outside.

The main difference was that the bamboo here was much taller and straighter than the bamboo covering the mountain outside.

There were also some jade-green bamboos that stood out.

The air was incredibly rich in Qi, with a faint ethereal quality.

In the distance, they could see some terraced fields growing spirit grains, vegetables, and herbs.

“Is this Qingzhu Valley?” Lu Changsheng asked curiously, looking around.

“That’s right. This is the core area of Qingzhu Mountain, Qingzhu Valley. There’s a Second-Tier spirit vein underneath.”

“Living here will make your cultivation twice as efficient. It will also help your wives and children stay healthy and live longer.”

Uncle Fu explained with a smile as he continued driving the carriage, finally stopping in front of an estate.

“This is your new home,” Uncle Fu said, pointing at the estate.

“It’s so big?” Lu Changsheng was surprised.

This estate was many times larger than his previous courtyard home. At a glance, it seemed to cover five or six mu of land.

“Of course. Things are different here compared to Qingzhu Mountain Estate,” Uncle Fu explained.

“This estate isn’t just large and beautiful, it also has formations for sound insulation and Qi gathering.”

The wives then got off the carriage, equally amazed at the sight of the estate.

They had originally lived in the mortal world and never had such good living conditions.

    Everyone entered the estate.

    Inside, the buildings were magnificent.

Pavilions, winding corridors, rockeries, and ponds made Lu Changsheng feel like he had entered an imperial palace from his previous life, grand and luxurious.

The ethereal Qi in the air gave the estate a touch of celestial beauty.

“Tsk tsk, if this is the dwelling for someone at the Qi Condensation stage, I wonder how grand the homes of Foundation Establishment or Golden Core cultivators must be,” Lu Changsheng marveled.

He was extremely satisfied with this new home.

Even though he had started cultivating and was now a cultivator, Lu Changsheng still felt like an ordinary person.

“You can unpack later. Let me show you around Qingzhu Valley first,” Uncle Fu said.

“It’s different from Qingzhu Mountain Estate here. Everyone lives in their own place and rarely disturbs others, so there are some things you need to know.”

After letting the women and children enter the estate, Uncle Fu took Lu Changsheng for a tour of Qingzhu Valley.

He told him about some taboos and which areas to avoid.

The people living here were mostly Lu Family higher-ups, guest elders, and core family disciples.

There weren’t shops like the Hundred Treasures Pavilion here, as there weren’t many residents and the demand wasn’t high.

So if they needed to buy anything, they’d have to return to Qingzhu Mountain Estate.

However, on the first day of each month, Qingzhu Valley would hold a small trading fair.

Family members and even some guest elders would set up stalls to trade their unused items.

After showing Lu Changsheng around and explaining everything, Uncle Fu left.

Lu Changsheng then returned to his new home.

On this day, Lu Changsheng officially moved into the Lu Family’s core area, Qingzhu Valley.
